A couple of points. We're focused on Procurement and Supply Chain - not investments which is typically where the scores you mention come into play. For Procurement/Supply Chain checks, this is what we look at. It's hard to fit a ton of info into 60 seconds. But I'm working on a video right now, long form, titled: "Is Supply Chain ESG Woke", that covers this in more detail.
The only thing one needs to know is that they've given Marlboro, a tobacco company a score over 80/100 and Tesla, a electric car company something around 34/100
Tesla is more damaging to the environment though? You realise those cars create more emissions to manufacture and the batteries and charging stations are just not sustainable. On top of tht, tesla is highly subsidized and the last time I checked, not profitable. On top of tht green energy is not even used to power these cars

Exactly, ESG is bringing companies down. Look at Bud light and target. Make idiotic decisions to appeal to ESG only to lose millions.
