I read the book and saw the movie in high school a year before fast times at ridgemont high and the breakfast club came out. talk about a reality check. great to see all of the young stars from back then. american graffiti was another great flick from back in the days packed filled with up and coming stars that ended with the vietnam war. war is just so much way worst than bad actors of the youth.
