- It was only this past summer that I first drove the Bentayga - Bentley’s critically acclaimed SUV. But at that point, an updated model had already been announced. So here I am again, this time with the new Bentayga featuring freshened styling and a much welcomed tech boost.

Truly a "goals" vehicle. I've driven a new GTC and I was properly dazzled. The practical side in me needs the four doors and cargo area. Bentayga it would be for me. At first, I was offended by the refresh. I've seen a blacked out spec. in person recently and I am warming to it nicely. Another great review, Steve.

Love the updates, however I just can’t stop thinking about how good the Q8 is for the money. I know the rich will choose this just for the badge, but for value, I think the Q8 is the best of the VW SUVs.
I've seen a Rolls Royce Cullinan on the streets, I haven't seen the Bentayga. And there is a Bentley dealership in Suburban Indianapolis.
Seen them both next to each other...

We have a few Bentaga's near CLE. But I did see my first Culligan with temp tags on it this.past week. Both are easily to distinguish on the road.

At roughly a quarter of a million dollars I would be afraid to park this thing anywhere, let alone drive in traffic full of distracted gadget fiddling 'drivers'. Great review and this seems like the epitome of luxury vehicles!
I really like their new Sedan though super elegant ..if I ever have the money I will never for the SUV !!!
I mean, the infotainment tech is newer, but not fully new. If that is Audi Virtual Cockpit, it’s the first model year version. It looks like they made it look like a derivative of virtual cockpit, and that is just the same infotainment from the new 911. But you have to be real car nerd of a Bentley shopper to notice.

Does it come with factory installed dashcams front and rear? Or do owners have to go to after market suppliers for such safety items?

The driving characteristic is "vault like"?
As in completely isolating.
I think Bentley is tops for interior design, but Lincoln and Kia are tops for exterior design of SUVs.
Twice the cost of the average two bedroom home in middle America. 1/3 the cost of the average home in Los Angeles. It takes Jeff Bezos 90 seconds to pay for the cost of a Bentayga. Have to put things in perspective.

Hope you get to review a Rolls-Royce Culinan sooner or later. In my area, they’re a bit rarer than the Bentayga and carry more presence (in my opinion).
Almost had one this summer but it fell through. I will try again.
I have been in the Cullinan and it really is something else, much more attractive and imposing than the Bentayga. The Urus is also much better in person too. It's hard to say if the Cullinan is worth the money but if money were no object to you and spending $250,000 on a car or $400,000 barely made a dent then the Cullinan is the no brainer one to get. A true baller would get a Cullinan and a Urus too because they are both expensive but very different vehicles. That being said I would still get a Ghost or Flying Spur or Mulsanne over an SUV at that price range.

It will be interesting to watch this video in 5 years when this “modern” vehicle will look very dated, especially the technology.

That’s a VERY expensive Audi. I’ll never be able to afford one, and I wouldn’t buy one if I could.
I actually don't like the exterior, front end is ugly. Interior isn't even on par with Mercedes S class which is way cheaper. Rolls-Royce does it better. I think objectively this is your worst review steve. You sound like a reviewer paid by Bentley, not an independent objective reviewer.
