I’m watching this and totally agree, I’ve been going there for 35 years as my ex-husband’s from there and I still have family there. I love low season the best never go during high season. Thanks for sharing.🌴🌸
So much to learn from your channel 👏 A question I am sure others who watch you would like to know about Playa Del Carmen, what is it like in January? A lot of us are going to be escaping the cold 🇨🇦 and would like to hear your thoughts… ie is the water cold 🥶 Keep smashing out videos, I’m hooked!
Thanks my friend, always appreciate the feedback! You’re in luck, January is generally one of the best months is PDC as far as the weather and overall vibe. The water is definitely NOT COLD but cool enough to be refreshing. I’ll have some updates coming soon. Thanks for checking out my channel ❤️🇲🇽🏝️😎. Check out the beach volleyball scene when you come down at Playa 72 if you’re into that. That’s my jam for sure
I would take the air conditioned combi for $40 pesos instead. I did a video back in April on how to get there and where to catch the colectivo. The taxis could try to get you for $500-$700 pesos! Thanks for the great question and for checking out the video! 😎❤️🇲🇽🏝️
We missed you buy just days being there at the same time. This July was much nicer than it has been in years. Three years ago, we did Playa del Carmen, and it was crazy amounts everywhere. It is hit or miss in our experience.
@@theropemonster Are you living full time in Playa del Carmen? We just did our second road trip through Quintana Roo and think we want to move to Playa del Carmen. After last trip we thought it was going to be Puerto Morelos. What are your thoughts?
thanks bro!!!!! love this!!! so as far as the sargassum.....did the hurricane wash it all away or there was a solid effort of manual & machine tractors cleaning them up....i was just there in the middle of june when it was raining darn near everyday....feel like i got robbed of my vacation......already planning a return to make up for it....once again thank u for these videos and keeping me connected to a place i sooooooo love.....
Yea that 2-3 week stretch in June was brutal! I think the tropical cyclone and hurricane pretty much annihilated the sargassum, for now at least! Thanks for the great question and for watching! 😎🏝️🇲🇽
It doesn’t smell, and it’s just a few parts at this time, but I don’t really know why. For the most part the water is clear! Thanks for watching ❤️🏝️🇲🇽😎
Just a suggestion, besides the beach what are the other cool perks or benefits of living in Playa del Carmen. I'm looking to move to Mexico in a few years I like the beach but I'm not all crazy about it.
Great question Adam! Honestly, if you’re not crazy about the beach, I would try San Miguel de Allende or Querétaro. Even Vallarta has more to offer. Playa is is pretty much playa 🏝️ 🥹
@theropemonster I loved CDMX, so much to do & many opportunities. I'm going to check out San Migel de Allende & Oaxaca too. At least I will be near PDC & can visit on a quick/cheap domestic flight.
Thanks my friend! I think the beach access is private to those particular beaches so I’m not sure I could get in there to film, unfortunately. Thanks for checking out the video 😎🇲🇽🏝️
it feels like 100 degrees and 100 percent humidity, its more than whether the beach is filled with sargassum or not, and mosquitos are nuts, I been to Cancun in the off season, its like a steam room outside day and night
I actually like the World Gym just south of Constituyentes on 5th Ave on the 3rd floor of the mall! Cold ac, brand new equipment, and not terribly expensive. $500mxn inscripción then $1,000mxn/month. Only thing is, no cardio equipment there yet. Basically weight lifting/crossfit gym. Thanks for watching 😎❤️🏝️🇲🇽
I’m working toward residency but at this point still leaving every 6 months for now. I don’t mind it because I like to visit other countries still and visit family etc. Thanks for the great question and for watching 😎🇲🇽🏝️
Glad you made it to Cozumel!! Did you try those tacos de birria at Ayy Jalisco?! Yea, that ojo de agua is the most refreshing spot to cool off in town, no doubt! Are you staying near there? Thanks for checking out the video ❤️🏝️😎🇲🇽.
@@theropemonster we are going walking this morning to Vika a bakery? Do you know this place? It's funny cause my wife's name is Veka... that means little flower in Eskimo
Am confused, I would think the summer months would be very busy with everyone off from school etc Where are all the high school kids ? But you're saying winter is the high season for PDC ? Maybe the threat of hurricanes keeps people away ?
There is definitely an influx of families with kids in the summer months. Recently met some subscribers who were both teachers and had their kids with them, this was definitely their chance during summer break. But yes, hurricane threat, typically more rain, but also, the weather in Europe, the U.S. and Canada is really nice during the summer so people aren’t “escaping the cold”.
Low season or high season, I've never had a bad vacation in Mexico in 30+ yrs! Thanks for the beautiful beach walk ❤
Awesome Lynne!! I feel the same way! I’ve been coming to Mexico since I was 18 years old and have never regretted it! Thanks for watching 🇲🇽😎❤️🏝️
