They say Bumpy Johnson aided in the escape from Alcatraz
-It was recorded (I believe by the coastguard)
that there was a boat seen anchored in the bay that night, just sitting there for hours with it’s lights off.
The story is that they were men sent by Bumpy Johnson, who were sent to wait out in the bay that night,
to pick up Frank & his fellow escapees.
It wouldn’t have been out of character for Bumpy Johnson to help out a buddy who he had been incarcerated with.
Bumpy Johnson was in jail with Frank, but had been released some time before the escape.

According to a documentary I watched a few years ago a member of the Anglin family supplied a photograph to the FBI that the family recieved in 1992 that supposedly showed the brothers, taken about thirty years after their escape, that forensic analysts confirmed was both the correct age and on film only available before 1995 (the manufacturer went out of business), and facial recognition software gave better than a 95% probability of BOTH the men in the picture being one of the brothers, but analysis of the photo's background, and plants in the picture, concluded it was taken either in southern Brazil or Argentina, and Argentina has no extradition treaties with the USA while Brazil only has a limited treaty.

Like how while he was digging the tunnel, when the guards were watching he would look upwards, tricking them into thinking he was failing to come up with an escape plan. I was 14 can can remember when the fall was announced on American news. Remember the song 99 Luftballons by Nena? It was about balloons being mistaken for UFOs, the government puts it military on high alert which causes surrounding countries to do the same and war breaks out again, over balloons LOL. This sounds like it could really happen these days.

I think it’s most likely that with the escape of Morris and the Anglins, the government had lost its claim to an escape-proof prison and hence the original reason for its existence.

How did we go from 7 years incarceration for just stealing shoes to people walking out of establishments with carts full of stolen items & no repercussions too their actions?!?!

Democrat run cities and/or policies. It’s not a federal crime, so it’s left to local governments to decide how to handle crimes, and for too long the voters have consistently voted for the clowns in office!

People swim to and back from Alcatraz, just not at night. One regular event is called the Alcatraz Invitational Swim, so the last sentence about the escape from that prison was incorrect.

The bit about the life jackets and rafts in the Alcatraz escape came from the movie made on the topic, and isn't known to have actually happened. The logic is simply that it seemed unlikely the men would have gotten that far, and not had a plan for getting off the island itself, which COULD be legit, but is speculation. The truth is, no one really knows. Did they escape? Or just die trying? The world may never know.
