    Thanks for pointing out the rule that dogs must be on a leash but I have yet to see one dog (of the hundreds I've encountered) on one. Nice, accurate information on these hikes.

    Great video! We were in Shenandoah national Park this summer, we really enjoyed it. We'll have to hit some of those waterfalls on our next visit. We will be back to watch more of your content, friend! Danny and Lynn

    We are headed there this week. Finding your channel was awesome luck. Great content! I am almost considering dropping the Smoky Mountain leg of our trip because we can’t take our dog on the trails there. It seems like there is enough here to keep us busy for a week.

    On your recommendation I camped loft mountain and hiked Doyle and Jones falls. Then a couple weeks ago my wife and I took our 4 and 1 year old boys to dark hollow falls. My younger boy keeps saying he wants to go to a waterfall for his 2nd birthday. Is there another kid friendly waterfall you can recommend? Thanks for your awesome content.

      hiked lower whiteoak canyon w/ my 4 & 6 year old yesterday. parked at whiteoak canyon boundary parking lot ( so not from skyline ). at a non-stop slow pace it might take you 75 minutes to get to the epic/tall waterfall that was our turning point. very rooty and rocky at times. steep sections here and there. we rushed back from that tall waterfall spot to car in 45 minutes. returning to whiteoak!! kids loved all the many shallow swimming holes on the way. would carry a 2 year old with a child carrier part of the way. but more importantly, the challenging hike (for kids and some adults) would be worth it for a memorable birthday no doubt!!!

    Any hikes you recommend for my friends and I? We have done the Whiteoak loop and old rag. We are wondering what to do before weather becomes colder?

    • @William180
      @William180  4 года назад +1

      Old Rag is a nice hike I loved that one. Try out the combination loop of Doyle’s and Jones run loop that one is nice.... but for the best view and a quick hike the absolute best is Bearfence mountain...... enjoy your trail and please keep in touch.

    What campsites in Shenandoah are the most secluded/ least crowded? Maybe one you have to hike to? Thank you for your videos.

      Loft mountain my brother is my choice....its better and more secluded than the others and the trail surrounding it our awesome. Appalachian trail surrounding it is nice scenic hike, Frazier Dozier trail and JOnes run trail is nearby.....Enjoy my brother keep in touch

    This vide is really odd! Why do I say that? You showed the trail. Not many do. People keep the camera on their face while talk. You had your face on the screen a LOT too, but at least you showed the rail as well. That's why we watchers/hikers need to see since we are considering going there.
