I really appreciate what you're sharing with us all. This particular graveyard is one of my favs since it's a 1700's one. It might sound odd but it was BEAUTIFUL ! even with the abandonment & decay. For so.e reason, I could leave a comment. You asked if you should look in. You should always look in. I love you videos, because you read the headstones and it's like I'm walking through the graveyard with you. Great job
Beautiful grave yard.inside the old church was stunning especially with the tree in the arch. The open mausoleum’s looked like they had been desecrated. The nameplates were all in a pile, whilst all the coffins were smashed and scattered. The other looked freshly raked and dug over (maybe looking for skulls or jewellery or even bits of lead. Seems a shame that the graveyard has been left like this. Thank you for closing the mausoleum doors. Great video as always 🪦🔦
What a beautiful old church and graveyard. The lovely birds making a home in the vault was wonderful since they are living in the same place as the dead.
Wow!! What an ABSOLUTELY FASCINATING but VERY dangerous place!! I was worried that one of you would suddenly disappear down a hole!! Those holes were pretty well hidden after all!! The ground was also pretty uneven!! Please be careful when you go exploring in the old grave yards, GV and Sue!!😰😰🙏🙏 I'm sure the statue at the door of the church was part of a grave ornament!!🤔🤔 The names on the wall also included those benefactors who donated generously to the church over the years!!💶💶 Thanks for yet another TOP NOTCH video, Cathal!! Could all those broken into mausoleums and graves be (maybe) a sign of grave robbers, perhaps hoping to find gold wedding rings and jewellery etc? Beautiful Church GV. in such a lovely setting. Thank you for sharing. ~ Cobs. (UK) x
It looks like remains were taken and bits of coffin and handles left behind in more than one area. The thought crossed my mind that it has been a harvesting place for satanic ritual. I sure hope not but too many opened not to wonder.
What a Lovely old cemetery and church. Thank You Kindly! The yellow flowers there are like ones here in Pennsylvania that were blooming a few weeks ago. This south east area of Lancaster County was settled by Scotch, Irish and English. My GGGGrandparents moved here from Ireland in 1815. He was born in county Antrim in 1772 his name Shanks. I have both their photographs that were taken in the late 1850s. It’s truly a gift to have their photos being born in the 1700s. We are blessed to have them. The township names here are Drummer, Colerain, Donegal, Little Brittian and others. So seeing those yellow flowers, the name I forget, perhaps they came from there to here, as I don’t believe they are native to this area. Thank You Again and Many Blessings! I Very Much Appreciate your videos and in honoring our Ancestors! DaveyJO in Pennsylvania
I took a holiday in Ireland, some 16 years ago now and I remember finding such places on Hook Peninsula and en route. I couldn't resist getting out of the car and looking around. Most had headstones within the churches, and like the ones I am seeing here, no roofs, glassless windows and lots of overgrown areas. It was beautiful in it's own way and I could hear the waves lapping in the background, birdsong etc...I felt comforted by the whole experience and then suddenly felt very uneasy and made a dash for the car!. My mother always said that if people didn't hurt you in life then were not likely to hurt in death, I tried to think along those lines but was glad to drive off. It inspired a painting actually, I will drag it from the back of the cupboard and email it to you one day. Lovely videos by the way😊
Sounds like you found a beautiful place but that feeling you had was probably just your mind playing tricks 😁. Absolutely I would love to see your painting ❤️. I am also on Instagram same name 👍🇮🇪
Despite the neglect, destruction, and the passage of time, the church and graveyard are still breathtakingly beautiful. I love this channel so much! Thank you for all these wonderful videos!
Great video. These structures are amazing. Was that a coffin scrapping mess in the one with various name plates in it? What were they taking? Brass? I see no reason to tear coffins apart. If it were natural, the plaques wouldn't have been in the same spot. This is one of the oldest cemeteries I have ever seen. Some of the mounds look older than the 17-1800's graves. When buildings go back to nature, they are pretty old. No telling how old the church is. Love this. Thank You for taking us along. I am very into ancient places and structures and these are just as exciting to me as the famous places. Maybe even more.
Yet another brilliant video. The tree in that church just really struck me, absolutely gorgeous! Youse make me so very homesick. I am planning a trip home late summer, early fall - I have my Da's ashes to bring home per his wishes to be scattered in his favourite river where he used to love to fish for trout lol God love him. Thank you again, ❤ your content and all the work you put into these amazing videos.
@@GraveVisitations my Da is from County Antrim, I should say was. He loved fishing the Six Mile River or any wee river lol for his trout. My mum and I were born in Belfast, County Down of course. Last time I was home, I finally travelled thru your part of country. Went to Connemara and of course Cong to see all the "Quiet Man" exhibits. Loved it. There's not a country like ours, whether it's the north or the south with such breathtaking beauty.
@@lisamak7288 thank you for sharing this lovely personal story. Your Da will be very happy. It must be a wondrous feeling being able to go back to Ireland. If I were to win the lottery I'd be on a plane within days & Antrim County would be top on my list. Way back ancestry thing go'n on. 😊
Thank you so much for sharing these old churches and cemeteries with us. Everything is so beautiful, I will always think of little fairy gardens, I guess I’m just a child at heart 💜
Wow Mother Nature at her finest..That tree coming out of the old church was insane..Bailey was my name before I was married perhaps a family connection 🤔..Great job on this video GV 😘
I'm an optimistic person. However, when l see the disgusting things people do to both the living and the dead, it definitely impacts my person. Psalms 37:10, 11 always returns my optimistic outlook of a wonderful future.
There was something trying to get your attention by interfering with your phone. That happened to you before also... And when you came back to the statue it didn't happen so definitely something. When you first went into the tomb and looked at the metal I thought I heard a word? Freaky and very cool place at the same time.. the coffins do look like they were broken as even after that amount of time I doubt it would be broken up that much.. brilliant video GV. Also hope Sue is doing well with her recent loss.
Ireland seems to have so many of those interesting places for you to explore. Very beautiful and interesting. Cremation does away with all that interest sadly. Thanks.
I love those gothic styled windows that are still intact on the church walls. A very lovely old cemetary. It was a sad sight to see down in that crypt where the coffins had come apart. But at least you and Sue offered your respects, and that is what matters most. We should always remember the departed. Be careful on your tours through these old graveyards, and God bless from Oklahoma U.S.

Your comments regarding the fenced-in grave with no tombstone got me thinking. I am in the western US and the same thing is common in old cemeteries here too... where someone was buried long ago and an elaborate iron fence was put around the grave, but absolutely no other marker whatsoever is left to indicate who is buried there 🤷♀... I have often wondered if perhaps the family couldn't afford both the fence and a tombstone, so they decided to pay for just the fence with the intention of someday placing a stone marker, but then never did. Or perhaps there was a wooden grave marker that has long since fallen over and completely rotted away. I have seen old photographs of cemeteries taken in the past, and the only way anyone could tell nowadays where some of the graves were is by matching up the trees in the old pictures with the trees that are still alive, because the wooden grave markers were completely gone. Anyway, just sharing my thoughts... great video, as always ☘

I noticed in this video that right before you went into the church i heard alot of static. Then once inside the static would go in and out even when you walked out, there were certain graves you would walk by that gave out the same static type noise also. Im just really interested in knowing if there was or is a reason for that sound. Love the videos and this place is absolutely beautiful ❤️
GV, thank you for another great visit to an old cemetary, and one that has seen a whole lot of damage 💔 it just does break my heart. So much loss, broken coffins, and the handles everywhere. You and Sue be very careful in these old places. And again, thank you for another interesting and beautiful place. I'm not Irish, I don't believe, but I just love all of your videos, both yours and Sues. All of the beauty all across Ireland.. some just takes my breath away,, so beautiful. Oh,, by the way, give Morty a bow and tip your hat next time you see him!!! Love it all.
Hello Cathal! How nice my first time back you are visiting a church in my name sake! Thankyou! At first I thought how nice and tidy it all looked, but I was genuinely shocked to see so many mausoleums broken into and smashed beyond recognition. I didn’t see any sculls, just a few rib bones in one of them, but in view of the number of old intact coffins you have see in previous mausoleums, these were trashed, and I felt very sad for the poor folk who thought that they had gone to their final resting places with other family members. I counted five coffin plaques on the floor, one dated only late 1800’s, so that sickened me. To think there are people quite happy to break in these places..no respect….well I just hope they fall and break their legs or even necks! In one of the dangerous holes you managed to bypass. It’s really dangerous walking round there. Anyway…a quick mention of “a possible EVP” and I say possible. At 22.54 you had just read the grave stone of John Ryan, and as you moved to the left, at the time I’ve mentioned I thought I heard a voice say something. I tried finding out why no grave stones within the Wrought iron graves…I looked up, and read that up to the 18th century you didn’t have to have a grave stone, as oral tradition, passed down told you who was buried there. The wrought iron grave surrounds are quite famous for being built in Ireland, and especially in Cork area where two exceptionally skilled smiths would make them, leaving a family message in some of the metalwork There is a picture of one, all made with the flat metal bandings that went round the outside rims of carts, Of which this a farmer prided himself in being wealthy enough to have more than two.. Also the wrought iron surrounds were not just to keep animals and robbers out, but to keep the spirits of the deceased in, so they didn’t follow the family home again.! Lastly, I have to tell you a true story written by an undertaker…he said a man came to him, wanting to bury his deceased brother, who had passed away at the local hospital. He didn’t want to be dressed up, in a suit or anything like that, but wanted to be buried wearing this hospital gown, opened at the back, while his face was straight down in the pillow. His brother asked whatever do you want to be like that for? His brother replied “ any of the little “B……..gs “ want to dig me up and open my coffin! Well, they can Kiss My A--!”. Sorry Cathal…but it amused me, and I thought I might the you,,Sue and the rest of the GV gang! Love and light! Helen 👩🦳👏👏💐🫶💕🥰XXXXX
Yet another fascinating video GV! You and Sue stay safe in all your ventures. Stairs and holes hidden by shrubs and overgrowth can be dangerous! You’ve suffered a loss Sue? My heart is with you! Hugs and love. Marci
I love the interference that can be observed and heard In many of your videos when you walk near certain graves or tombs/vaults.. sounds like Spirits Interfearing with your mic/ camera on your phone. Quite Amazing my friend!° ❤❤❤
It's one thing to find an open mausoleum, but it's a sadness to see that vandals disturbed the coffins, breaking them up. I don't understand their mentality.
That inscription was beautiful! 1700s I hope they preserve that. It is history! Too many holes. Be careful you and Sue! ( although I think Sue wanted you to go down to look at some of the mausoleum holes😂). Beautiful grave yard! Thanks 😊
I wonder if the mosoleum with the casket parts was used to dispose of the old coffins of those whose family had moved them? It was just a thought, since here in the US that happens often. Also, the vault with only a few bones and coffin handles.... perhaps that was all that was left after two centuries of burial. Wonderful channel.
I love these videos you do. Such beautiful peaceful places, even in the state some of them are in. I don't find them creepy at all, just peaceful serene final resting places for all those souls from many generations ago. Thank you for visiting these places and sharing them with us. Take care 🙂
Hi GV Steve from England. Lovely place nature rules again. I imagine the tombs and the mosalium were robbed and vandalised. Loved the church with the tree growing up. Marvellous video GV.
Beautiful church..the window..i want to recreate that in miniature. I put your videos on while crafting, they are so relaxing. Your phone always has interference..hmmm spirits?❤
Incredible cemetery and all the finds from open tombs and the mausoleum. Very old kind of sad all the bodies disturbed. Thanx for a really great walk. We know how we all will end up. Rich or poor all are equal.😊❤😊❤
Thanks!

After viewing this episode, I awoke this morning thinking about you and Serenity Sue and the multitude of things about your work that continues to foster such fascination. For me, and foremost, with every abandoned churchyard or gravesite I am invariably led to looking deeper into the profound well of Eternity. Although my faith substantiates the yearning hope that there is, in fact, a continuation of some recognizable element(s) of the present self, it is, nevertheless, clear that from this side, where “moth and thief doth corrupt,” there is decay and disintegration and eventual oblivion. Then once inside the static would go in and out even when you walked out, there were certain graves you would walk by that gave out the same static type noise also. Im just really interested in knowing if there was or is a reason for that sound. Love the videos and this place is absolutely beautiful ❤️
I get loads of spirit activity on my walks including voices
Because of your video I was able to locate two family plots at St. Helens so thank you very much.
Glad I could help!
Nice weather. Hear the birds.
What an interesting place. I was afraid you'd fall in. Isn't it sad that so many graves are disturbed and deteriorated? Thanks for the great video!
What a great video. Thank you for taking the time to share with us. Y'all are great!
Our pleasure!
Morty says hello 👋💀
TY for sharing. I can just imagine how wonderful it must have been back in the day.
Great video GV
Thanks Cathy
Another great video from you both. Thank you for taking me around this very interesting old graveyard and church.......and creepy mausoleums.
The wrought iron grave surrounds are quite famous for being built in Ireland, and especially in Cork area where two exceptionally skilled smiths would make them, leaving a family message in some of the metalwork There is a picture of one, all made with the flat metal bandings that went round the outside rims of carts,
Of which this a farmer prided himself in being wealthy enough to have more than two..
Lol that's a good one Helen
Thank you for the tour! Really cool!😁
Yet another fascinating video GV! You and Sue stay safe in all your ventures. Stairs and holes hidden by shrubs and overgrowth can be dangerous! You’ve suffered a loss Sue? My heart is with you! Hugs and love. Marci
Wow! Another great find! Thank you for sharing ❤
Thank you guys another brill video! have a lovely weekend 💜💜💜💜
Thank you! You too!
I love the interference that can be observed and heard In many of your videos when you walk near certain graves or tombs/vaults.. sounds like Spirits Interfearing with your mic/ camera on your phone. Quite Amazing my friend!° ❤❤❤
Morning GV,Sue hope your travelling well, looks like a well kept graveyard,👋👋🙏🙏👍🇦🇺
I find this so interesting . There may have been people stealing lead may be from coffins , some people have no conscience .
This is a great video. I wonder what the little white box is @ 21:14?
Interesting place for sure. A wee bit spooky at times but great find much love . Auntie
Thanks so much for another fantastic video ❤
It's one thing to find an open mausoleum, but it's a sadness to see that vandals disturbed the coffins, breaking them up. I don't understand their mentality.
Beautiful old ruins. Thank you for the walk through. 💜☮️
Glad you enjoyed
Watching from upstate NY, love your videos! Thank you for sharing!
@@NYKim_NY thank you for watching ❤️
Wouldn't go here at night x it's a little creepy but stunning

Yes thanks for video where the birds are singing.
Wow a hiking stick/ cane might help you poke around the ground to determine saftey& egress.
Thank you so much God Bless 🙏❤️
That church definitely looks like it could have some vibes going on😮 it looks very very old ....beautiful. the older the more fascinating ❤😊❤😊
That inscription was beautiful! 1700s I hope they preserve that. It is history! Too many holes. Be careful you and Sue! ( although I think Sue wanted you to go down to look at some of the mausoleum holes😂). Beautiful grave yard! Thanks 😊
I've seen more holes in the ground at this stage than a golfer 🤣
@@GraveVisitations 😂😂🤣
It's so sad when you see Graves and coffins destroyed like this, such dis respect!
Love these old graveyards..☠️💀☠️
You lucked out with the weather.🙏🤞☘️
Weather was fantastic that day but rain came again few days later ☔😕
9:07 A deep growly sound, voice?
I think you two are so amazing,I love your content,I wish we had cemeteries like that here where I live.I would also be looking in the crypts
Thanks Amy 👌
I wonder if the mosoleum with the casket parts was used to dispose of the old coffins of those whose family had moved them? It was just a thought, since here in the US that happens often. Also, the vault with only a few bones and coffin handles.... perhaps that was all that was left after two centuries of burial. Wonderful channel.
That was not a gust of wind that distroyed those coffins so sad that is thanks both another great video
Thanks Steve seems to be a case of stupid thugs again
What an amazing graveyard! Thank you GV
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video! Glad you had a nice day! Very interesting
Lovley scenery and old church ruins

There was some crackling and Poppin when you were up by the entrance. When you came in and when you went out.
Beautiful church..the window..i want to recreate that in miniature.

Incredible cemetery and all the finds from open tombs and the mausoleum. Very old kind of sad all the bodies disturbed. Thanx for a really great walk. We know how we all will end up. Rich or poor all are equal.😊❤😊❤
great video beautiful old grave yard
You guys are too cute. I love both your channels. Thank you for doing this!😊
Thank you!! 😊
thanks for the video
You're welcome
Ashes to ashes- dust to dust! After awhile those coffin handles would probably rust away to nothing!
Another brilliant video GV
There is a lot of magnetic interference here
A lot of spirits talking to you there
May they rest peacefully ❤
14:18 That metal plate you lifted up to see if there was an inscription on may have been above the door of the mausoleum you were just in.
I think they are name plates for coffins
Brilliant channel.hi from co Clare 👍👍
Thanks hello from wexford 👋
