Awesome photography James. I climbed Beinn Sgulaird on a fine day in March 2023 and 100% agree with your assessment of the views and the surprising amount of effort for a single Munro. Tremendous drone shots. Well done!
A very hard single Munro. I have climbed it twice. The second journey was my Munroist dogs of which was their last venture on the hills due to old age. Great views fantastic video. Thanks again.
Wow - I climbed Sgulaird on a beautiful summer day with friends, but it looks even more spectacular with that dusting snow. It's one of my favourite parts of the country. I spent the best part of two days bagging Creach Bheinn and the three Grahams near it and didn't see a single soul - just glorious views.
I really enjoyed this video James. Sgulaird is local to me, and l often take that first track up from the road with my dog, and on to the ruins of an old farmstead. Theres a cairn on your left as you take the track up, l think thats where you turn off.I must get up tbe Ben one of these days. Ive been told the views are great, and you sure showed that, amazing. Beluga Lagoon are fantastic. Thanks for sharing your adventure....Alioban ❤
Climbed this munro twice, once in 2008 in deep snow and in 2022 in better conditions. Really makes you work for that tick with all the ups and downs. Well done James and excellent drone footage.
I took a step back there. When I saw the preview image, I thought you were in the Torridon area. Shows what a bit of snow cover can do!! But yes, beinn Sgulaird for myself and companions ascending directly from the Upper glen creran car parking was a long steep slog with succession of false summits.😳 Once on the top, views were sublime, and a short descent to the col with a lochan overlooking Glen Etive leading to a return over Beinn Fionnlaidh and a long painfully jolting descent to the starting point. Your imagery fantastic as always 😃
Did Beinn Sgulaird a couple of weeks ago and the weather was glorious! No snow at al. Cracking hill and some of the best views in Scotland! I could see Jura, Islay etc. Did Ladhar Bheinn from Kinlochhourn yesterday. Just WOW! What a place Knoydart is! Well done James. Hopefully meet on the trail one day!
Hi James, that was an absolute stoater - I'm so pleased for you, that all your efforts of getting there were so richly rewarded. As ever, you are the master of the drone, thanks!
Hi James, what stunning views. Amazing to see that much snow still given its May. As always thank you so much for sharing your adventure, all the best mate Dave
Nice Video. I used to live in Connel and have done this Hill a few times. I've always approached from the Loch Creran.... A great day out. Your video brought back some happy memories..... I'll be watching more of your exploits. Thanks for sharing....
Good Munro this one , a way better munro than Beinn Fhionnlaidh.. Did the both in one day, a lot of ascent for two near sea level Hills.. Your last snowy hill, don't know about you but I don't think I'm ready for being boiled yet.. Bring back the snow 👍😅
Just awesome James. Never actually got round to that Munro and now I never will but a great video of what I missed together with a perfectly chosen piece of music by BL. Cheers Bud👍
Stunning drone footage. Real pleasure to watch. Thank you. I last did it in 2003 (🥴) and was thinking of doing it soon.....maybe not! My memory has filtered that long walk in!
Hi James, yes it sure catches a few people out…especially if you think you’re going to have an easy day. Did this 3 times now and never disappoints, the last time I did the Corbett as well…a great day out. Great video. ATB Jim.🏔️👍
Walked up Sguilard start of November last year James and as you said, found it more of a challenge then I'd originally thought. Cracking mountain however and the views from the top are stunning !!
Wow, really enjoyed watching this. Thanks so much. I agree, late April -> May, when there is decent weather, is such a good time to go hiking - the snow capped mountains, the clear air and no midges!
@@ScottishMunroJourney it is that special moment, only lasts for a short time - not too hot or cold....and that beautiful sunshine on the snow capped mountains. You can never take too many pictures.
Well done James. Looked like quite a hike for 1 munro but looked amazing. Outside drone footage as usual. Well done. Loved your pics of ben Lomond on Instagram. Looking forward to the video of that. Even though I've climbed it 3 times. First time I was hungover from a wedding the night before lol. Well done again ATVB Alan
Our sports and social group were up in the Crianlarich area in April 24 and two of the group decided to do Ben Sgulaird. They underestimated it a bit and got a bit lost , were late back for the evening meal and were shattered. This is a big walk and should not be taken lightly. Great vid with stunning views btw!
Fantastic drone shots! It was too windy and cloudy for my drone when I was up there. You've really painted a great picture of what it's like to climb this one. An under-rated munro!
Another brilliant video with some great photography, especially from the summit. Yes only a small Munro (in terms of height) but the total ascent is so much more. Well only 38 more to do! A request - would it be possible to show a map of all those Munros done and those to do? Thanks.
did this from glen etive and it was the most scunnered i have ever been on a walk , boggy bog wet , gah, got back to the loch and there was a wedding on the shores
Magnificent scenery. Thank you for making the journey.

It really is a fantastic area, difficult for me to explore living so far away, but will definitely return in the future 😁 Cheers, James
Awesome!

Beautiful drone work there. Thank you. Normally I switch off when I hear à song start up on an outdoor video, but this time it worked for me.
Do we say this a lot but we live in the most beautiful country in the world can’t wait to do this one stunning James
i was also surprised at how hard this one was as well. thanks for the video james
Climbed this munro twice, once in 2008 in deep snow and in 2022 in better conditions. Really makes you work for that tick with all the ups and downs. Well done James and excellent drone footage.
Its a tough little Munro, would be even harder in deep snow.. Cheers, James
Views said it all
I didn’t have to talk in this one 😂

What stunner, great video James.
That was pretty special James and the first 10 I've seen you give while watching. I need to start looking back at your earlier walks.
It was fantastic - another 10 coming soon 😁 Cheers, James
Stunning drone footage. Real pleasure to watch. Thank you. I last did it in 2003 (🥴) and was thinking of doing it soon.....maybe not! My memory has filtered that long walk in!

Thanks Alan, haha Lomond was a very busy hill when I climbed it, very popular 😂
@ScottishMunroJourney yea definitely popular. Every time I go their I get their really early in the morning.
Brilliant another cracking video nice views ❤
Epic views there James. 👏🏼
Youre making me want to move to Scotland james!
Do it 😂

Thank you - glad you all made it back safe, many people must underestimate the length of this walk! Cheers, James
Spectacular
Fantastic drone shots! It was too windy and cloudy for my drone when I was up there. You've really painted a great picture of what it's like to climb this one. An under-rated munro!
Thanks Jim, it’s definitely underrated - it wad windy when I was on the summit but I couldn’t resist flying the drone 😂 Cheers, James
@@ScottishMunroJourney Glad you did. Fantastic shots!
8:42 I find Beluga Lagoon music very underrated.
100%, the more people that discover them the better 😁
Your vids never disappoint!
Superb 😊
Interesting footwear !
lol, planned it for August, surprised to see you doing it :D
congrats on reaching the 250 mark

The mountains dressed up in white just for you, lucky bastard 😉
Great video James. great scenery too. just wondering what the music/artist is playing in background? keep up good work..
Its Beluga Lagoon, thanks for watching 😁
@@ScottishMunroJourney ok James that's great. Have a good day.
Wow!.. Great views.. Please could you tell me the music / tracks used?

HI, whats the song over the drone footage?
Its Beluga Lagoon - Mermaid 😁
@@ScottishMunroJourney thank you so much!
Brilliant coverage from start to finish hanks for reminding me of the superb views from that mountain done it a few years back ⛰️
Another great vid!! I did this one on Friday, some of the best 360 degree view I've seen. ⛰️
