It really depends on the relationship of your IC. Lets say you have got three different IC: IC1, IC2 and IC3. If IC 1 contrast with IC2, then the usual form will be sth like IC1; (or ".") IC2, however. If IC2 contrast with IC3, then it would be like IC2. However, IC3. If you use "and" between IC, remember to add a "," before and, because simply "," cannot connect two Independent clause and only "and" would create a "run-on sentence" type of mistake
