i think the outburst with shoji on their date was def due to frustration bc he didn't empathize with her plite at all. like obv office jobs are terrible and probably the worst for someone like nana who needs an interactive and bright work space, so naturally she rants to her boyfriend. and cause shoji is tuned out bc he's a CHEATER, she thinks he's not understanding bc he has it easy when it's not true at all. and yes i believe shoji has support from his parents that's why he was able to move to tokyo early and do like pre college art school before applying for art school again cause remember the first time both shoji and nana failed. hachi's family wasn't willing to support her unless she got into a proper college which she didn't lol. she probably doesn't think he's actually privileged but it's the only thing she can use to express and explain her frustration with him. she says stuff without thinking but regrets it afterwards but as a character i don't think we should take what comes out if her mouth super literally like no she doesn't actually think he has it super easy, she literally moves out of his place bc he knows how tough it is for him to manage bith of them. imo she has like 2 voices in her head, 1 is fhe yapper overthinking day dreaming fantasizing one and the other is very reflective, grounded in reality and rlly sad. so most of the time i feel she uses the latter to drown out her true feelings which are rlly negative and self depreciative and creates a facade. her character is very interesting overall
@@24sailorvenus you know what, that’s a really interesting perspective (the two voices of Nana). It’s something I’ve noticed as well because sometimes her inner monologue really differs from her outward-presented self. I’ll definitely keep track of that in future episodes because it’s very true but something I haven’t directly engaged with. Thanks for the insightful comment! ☺️
yes shoji had financial help from his grandmother ( we don't know anything of his parents, when we met him at pre art school back home he was living with his grandmother ) when he failed his entrance exams for Tokyo she paid for his tutoring
Hi Temi, I'm still watching this episode, but I'll say it now. Please keep the show going as long as I'm (we’re) looking forward to it. So cool again this time! Now, let’s continue watching ::)))
love your reaction!! 14:36 even i thought of the same thing like i'm trying not to overthink it but i am, i think shoji might have a thing for girls who look "cutesy", child-like appearance with an artsy fashion style, sachiko looks really short as well, which adds the cutesy-ness to her AND the fact that HER BIRTHDAY is on children's day like that's a crazy detail to add in the writing! and shoji used to be attracted to nana when she used to rock a shorter hairstyle and dressed like an art student
I really look forward to your reactions! Love your commentary, it’s deeper insight than most reactions😊 Please keep at it! Take care 👋 Also, you’re always really pretty! Your skin looks flawless!
