The big man has been outstanding since he came to Celtic and the class and dignity he's shown since he came in has everybody in our support in awe of him. He's a top human being which is what Ange is bringing to Celtic they have to be good players but also good human beings and we're reaping the rewards of this as we've just won the third trophy of Ange's reign here, we're nine points clear in the league and could only throw it away and the treble is still on. We're not taking anything for granted though there's still a lot of hard work to be done between now and the season's end but we're in a great position and Joe's been a massive part of that and long may it continue HH

@@dom6717 what's the premier league got to do with this lol? OK fair enough let's measure the old firm. They are the only two teams that will ever win the spfl. He still makes the odd distribution error, but under Ange his shot stopping has returned to career best form. Leadership ability on and off the field too. For the money Celtic paid, he is a bargain.
Not exactly redemption when he spends most games taking a nap while Celtic steamroll whoever is in front of them. Glad he’s doing better though - always thought he was unfairly made a scapegoat.

More of an indictment of the level of Scottish football than confirmation of redemption for a woeful woeful woeful goalkeeper. I remember when he came to Italy to play for Torino. Arguably one of the worst keepers I've ever seen play in Serie A. Almost non existent on crosses and generally all round crap.
3 woefuls, surely a bit much? I know he was not good at Torino, but I feel that a lot of that is due to a lack of confidence and belief than a lack of ability?

Pep’s biggest misstep to replace Big Joe with Bravo but did redeem himself with Ederson. You don’t win four golden glove awards if you ain’t a bit special.
Given this is a video format, I’d genuinely love someone to pull together his best saves for Celtic. I only really looked at him at Burnley and he couldn’t time his dives to his left and wouldn’t come for high takes in and around his six yard box. There is no way Billy Mercer didn’t support him, and express confidence in his abilities, but we improved massively at the back went Pope returned from shoulder surgery.
3:38 Celtic had lent had “an omnishambles over the past couple of seasons with goalkeepers”. Celtic had one bad season in goalkeeping front. The disastrous covid year with Barkas, Bain and hazard. Prior to that it had been Fraser Forster and Craig Gordon who were immense, and genuine world class goalies. Celtic let Gordon go because they thought Forster was signing permanently, but he changed his mind.
When you suspect someone doesn't respect you, you can often try too hard to gain their respect and put yourself under too much pressure and lose sight of who you really are.
Celtic season ticket holder here and im in a minority but i don't think he's good enough. You can count the number of key saves he makes in a season on one hand (teams match or overpeform xg vs us) and he can be sketchy with his feet. He seems to be a great presence in the dressing room & around the club which is an x-factor, but if we're gonna do something in europe we'll need to upgrade this summer. Fraser Forster & Arthur Boruc both made saves vs top teams which were instrumental to us beating them: we won't get that from Joe.✌🏻🍀
I think with the Previous goalies with Barkas and Hazzard i could've went in goals and been a success lol bt ur right im glad hes in the team with his leadership... hopefully he has a good 1 for the cup final tomorrow against the Sevco.
Hart is a classic case of the media building a player up then tearing them down. Having a world class defence in front of him made him look better than he was and being a young number one for England only increased the hype. Once he couldn't perform to the level he'd been built up to, they decided he'd lost it and focused only on the mistakes. In truth, he's a very good keeper that had a purple patch followed by a poor patch of form. That's it. Still a solid keeper despite limitations in distribution.
Man City did not relinquish the title to United in 2013 by goal difference… United won it on points… by a lot

Would have him back over Ederson any day. Ederson has been shocking with his feet recently and Hart is full on shot stopper.
He literally stopped Kasper from being number one when both of them are in mancity. And we all know how good kasper is.
