Just wow. Great originality in mixing and matching parts from different Buzzes to create such a wonderful custom. Definitely would love to see some tutorials on how you did them! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks! Both Buzz lightyears had features that I wanted so I figured why not attempt to combine em :D I do have a spare disney store buzz so I'll definitely show off some tutorials soon
I also would love to say thanks to you as well! Your videos were a big inspiration for me attempting to mod my own Buzz and got me into Toy Story modding
@@zedabyu Your Jesse and Woody Videos were one of the first ones youtube randomly recommended me. I had no idea there was a custom toy story community 😱 Once I saw those and TodayIgrew up's videos. I knew I had to attempt some of my own. You're waay better at painting than I am 😁 Everyone has their own skills that they're really good at
@@HackerBilly13 That's exactly how I came across these full scale Toy Story toys! It's the customizing possibilities that got me so excited to try it myself, and I am so glad that more people of different skillsets are emerging to help one another achieve a more accurate custom 💚
Thanks! I appreciate it! He has been updated quite abit. Im hopefully going to have an update video in the following Month. I've had so much goin on recently but I've been getting together a nice work space and workshop to finally be able to record videos at
That’s one of the best buzz mods I’ve ever seen! Can you pleeeaaaaase do a tutorial how to mod the arms and the laser? That would be really helpful for me! 🙏
Yeah! I've just wanted a Buzz Lightyear that can do everything the movie Buzz Lightyear can do. This one is really close to being able to do everything
@@papermadhatter5 I actually had tried that & it wasnt working out that well. The issue with resin is that it warps slightly due to the printing procress so fine fits dont always fit together well unfortunately. Granted I was very new at 3d modeling at that time so its possible that I just messed up as well.
This is absolutely amazing! I've made a custom Woody and Jessie which are reasonably screen-accurate. Buzz is a dream of mine but modding a complex action figure like this requires a lot of skills I don't have. Dolls are much easier to work with haha. Keep it up, my guy! Some of the best custom work I've seen for Buzz! You're an inspiration to us modders in the community . Also, What did you use for the black shoulder joint piece?
Hey thanks! Yeah modding Woody is definitely a lot easier than modding Buzz. Buzz has taken me a good week or 2 to work on and finish. I saw other videos that inspired me to keep working on stuff and eventually I managed to get Buzz to this way. The Black Shoulder bits are actually 3d Printed. I 3d modeled and printed them. I will be uploading the file to Thingiverse soon so anyone can use em on the disney store buzz
Unfortunately not due to the different design of the wings. I was able to mod the clear bulb parts onto the disney store wings though. I'll be taking a closer look at the wings soon though
Just Wondering if you have done the bicep and wrist mod on the Disney store buzz. I kinda gave up on trying to disassemble the lower arm earlier as seemed to complicated
I actually have! I need to upload a video over it. I finally managed to replace rhe disney store arm with a signature collection Arm and I kept the Disney Store Wrist communicator since its more accurate than the signature collection one
Dude, this looks amazing!! Could you do a tutorial please?? I've tried to modify my Disney Store Buzz Lightyear but almost no one uses it for custom and I don't want to damage it while trying to modify it
Sure yeah I can upload some tutorials. Some things I wont be able to do on tutorials are the flexible waist and wing mods but I can do tutorials over the arms, laser, and Helmet button. I went with the Disney Store Buzz because they're just super cheap
Nice custom. Is it possible to remove the black plastic for replacing the black actual ones, laser pointer, and the entire arms rotating every side and reaching the buttons on the original toy from 1996? I’m still planning to repair on my own, just have to replace new stickers, and fixing the wing mechanism.
I'm not actually 100% sure tbh. It might be fully possible tbh but I cant fully say. I haven't taken apart a 96 buzz yet. I kind of avoid destroying the vintage buzz and rare buzz lightyears if I can avoid it.
Also the disney store buzz wing probgram is false to the movie so far the collection (all 3 version) is the only one with the correct wing light program

Amazing! I wish I could play with it.
what about resin printing the wings so they will be transparent?
Resin prints are almost always translucent. Just an idea. :)

Great job on making this! 😎😊
Good Job dude
You should give him the signature collection hands
You gave me an idea thank you so much
Where is his lightyear sticker?
I actually love this
Maybe you could add the sticker on the back where the karate chop action button is
Thats one of the plans 😁
Yep
you did a fantastic job making this. :)
Thanks man! I really appreciate it
How did u do the laser
I am making buzz too,i am curious, how did you get the karate chop arm to articulate
I'll try to do a tutorial soon on the easy stuff

So when can you do a tutorial for your custom buzz lightyear? Also you can color the wings with sharpie like today I grew up did.
Nice! Can you attach Signature collection Buzz lightyear's wing?

Will you mod this to make the buttons lower like in the movie
I have thought about that but I dont unfortunately think that it'd be fully possible. It might be but I think its a little out of my skills
How did you do this? Cos I want a Buzz this accurate!
I'll be doing tutorials very soon on how to do most of it actually 😁
