i dont hate the original but this is really what owl city sounds like when he do his songs alone. his old songs are like unique and indie. his newest album is kinda like what mainstream pop musics sounds like today

This is why I like his music. Even though he probably uses Auto-Tune this time, he isn't, and he sounds pitch-perfect again!
He uses autotune, but I hear it as just a vocal effect for the synthy aesthetic.
