He felt better, because he saw his problems in a different light. He felt that they could be tackled and that his heartache and loneliness were temporary. This could also be that he saw a reminder of something positive in his sadness (painting paper tigers) which made him feel better. This is all my interpretation. The song titles are beautiful, and the words in the song don't have to focus all on the title, they just tell their own story.

As she was leaving, i told her I'll Meet You There. Then I watched as the rockets carried her away into an Alligator Sky - if you like owl city this will make sence

But that's what I love about Owl City. Not the face, not the sound, but the WORDS. The words paint a permanent melody of love and happiness and sadnness and contentness in my soul that lingers forever. The song titles are beautiful, and the words in the song don't have to focus all on the title, they just tell their own story.
this sounds more like a 'the midsummer station' vibe to me than the songs on the album itself, tbh.

Girl, I LOVE his music, too and I'm black. Adam is so talented and just because he's white doesn't mean black people can't get into his music, too. I love Owl City and I am not ashamed to admit it.
