If NMS has taught me anything, they will be working their asses off on this game from launch and far beyond.
Agreed! Not only that, I am sure they learned a lot from NSM. So I have high hopes for this! Hello Games has earned my respect.
@@seasonofbrad9403 Definitely, NMS sold huge at launch but instead of running with the money, they put their noses down, went to work and haven't stopped since.
I'm actually all into that. Just ship that thing because I want to play it, and fix it later and I'll be happy again 😅
@@ZeddPl Only thing that looks ''ehhh'' to me is the mounting, same looks as getting in and taking off ships, just made to fit the world of Light No Fire...i think there's room for improvement there, other than that gonna wait to see more!
It seems like a lot of people don't know about this, so for the future, if you *barely* missed something and need to go back in the video by the tiniest amount, while the video is paused you can use the , and . keys to move through the video backward and forward essentially a couple of frames at a time. Way better than point and clicking on the video timeline to try to find a spot that's "close enough" only for it to be 10 seconds before what you actually want to show.
I think an 'unexplored earth' means is that we'll all start at the same point but need to map out the world ourselves and most likely cooperatively, I expect no world map because of this
Light No Fire will be playable alone as well
@@tylerthunder2001 Same as NMS multiplay off and pvp OFF.
Or maybe we all spawn at different points and part of the challenge is to find each other...? Either way, I can't wait!
Or just spawn in random coordinates, and we can meet each other at the hub, like in some flying city in the sky.
@@PicesQ maybe thats what the area the party were at with the petals and everything
The atlas-like thing at the end of the trailer makes me think that the lore of the game might be related with No Man's Sky's lore... Idk, maybe we find a primitive atlas, or we are in an important planet of the lore or something... It would be so cool if both games are related
Perhaps it's might be the later iteration of it...
OR... it IS the same ATLAS, just a different subset of simulations
i'd rather have some vague connections or easter eggs (aka finding the dovakin helmet in Doom) let LNF be it's own thing
@D0NU75 That may be the case.
Just a casual nod to Nada and Polo, in some form, would be nice and fun.
I hope they do an arg like they did before the NMS.
@@D0NU75the thing with that analogy is that it is outright impossible for doom and tes to be the same but this could easily relate in some way
I remember seeing a meme about this that goes
"okay sean, just say we're working on something and show them the clips"
Sean : I'M MAKING EARTH
I think the beauty of this, is that this could totally be connected in world to NMS . Whether it's a version of an ancient iteration or another simulation from the outside world, the possibility is there without breaking the lore.
could totally see them down the line putting the planet into nms, something years after we've discovered this new game
My headcanon is [NMS SPOILERS] that this is earth that has the atlas and we fixed it lol 😆
The one thing that I hope this game is more ambitious with is its lore and story telling, I love No Man's Sky the story wasn't bad in that game but it also wasn't very rich or abundant I hope its different with Light No Fire, I want to have a codex of all the lore we have collected from our adventurers either from reading a book, scroll or interacting with a monolith, as well as artifacts with their very own lore text, think of Destiny and how each piece of gear or weapon has a small flavor of text that links to the greater picture or to other events within the universe, I'd love to see something like that in LNF.
The giant bird mounts are looking so cool! I think I rewatched the trailer on hello games youtube like 10 times, I am so excited!
I feel like the atlas at the end ties into no man's sky. This could predate it! Maybe we'll see ancient Gek and Vy'keen races, Light no fire could actually be the prequel to NMS and that makes me even more HYPE!
Or is just another Sim... Another Atlas...
It could be the realities that the NPC travelers sometimes talk about. The ones that mention that they use Multi-sword instead of multi-tools. That is if this game even ties into No Man's Sky.
I think this is the world the atlas is on. (The 1 that is //16// minutes away from destruction) I honestly don’t want any magic but it does look promising but very sleepless night when I saw the fantasy and Skelton and bowing rabbit scene! I’m kinda scared 😱 of the possibility of it having magic. I really don’t want that. But if it does not have magic… oh my word I can’t wait to preorder 😃
I was thinking the same thing!
I was thinking the same thing. It references heavily on the atlas simulation being from a single world! I'm so friggen hyped..
They need to import that water and rivers to no man's sky
Yes please!
I think I'll stick with sci-fi for now, but I'm just excited to see what Hello Games will do with the [hopefully] successful launch and funding of this game!
I'm with you. NMS will be hard to ever beat because of the sci-fi theme and the lack of leveling and questing (both of which I hate). I had hopes for Star Trek and Star Wars games but don't expect to see anything after all these years.
@varillon7 why does the sci fi act as a sole reason as to why NMS has to be better. Fantasy has been a far greater genre over the last decade in novels, games, and television.
@@xavier01110 It's just a preference man.
I love both. I'm beyond excited for this.
@@xavier01110 It's just a personal preference. I love space exploration and the possibility for alien life. I rather shoot a laser pistol than cast magic spells. Also, I mentioned that the lack of levels and few quests are huge reasons NMS will stay above most other games for me. I never could understand why reaching level 2 in any game takes seconds, but the last level takes hours/days/weeks.
I am also very hyped for this game! The fact that it’s a big open world 3 person sandbox which uses proc gen makes it sound very similar to Valheim which is another one of my favorite survival games. I guess you could say it’s No Man’s Valheim lol
So they use four characters for the trailer, but I'm betting that the overall world accommodates everyone playing on a single server in some manner.
That's how No Man's Sky is structured, although they have different iterations for different game types like creative, normal, permadeath, ECT.
@@RodneyG669 I believe they meant "3rd person sandbox," not literally 3-person sandbox, if that's what you're replying to. Also, I think you can just call it an MMORPG. It's unconfirmed yet, but I do hope there's a private server option, it'd be a little weird if they used proc gen only for a single server.
your audio is like 10 secs late from the image we are seeing on scree, still love it! cant wait
this is No mans sky crossed with Valhiem
That octopus tho! The dragons! That hummingbird/sparrow mount! I'm going to have so much fun manipulating the JSON code of all these new critters!
Thank god they are sticking with the bright colors too. I get so tired of the drab and dark colors with most games. It’s one of the things that keeps me coming back to NMS so much.
Fantasy games these days are usually pretty generic and boring and don't really interest me... but Light No Fire looks incredible. The variety in the art design is so awesome.
The red orb at the end definitely looks like some form of Atlas interface. Imagine if this is an early Atlas simulation before it began to break down. This planet is Earth, but with a fantasy twist because the Atlas is just doing something it finds interesting.
Or maybe the Atlas has been saved from destruction, but it can't simulate an entire universe anymore, so it relocates as much life as it can to a new planet.
One thing I find kinda funny is how lots of people gave NMS another chance after being disappointed with Starfield and everyone universally agreed it'd be much better if Starfield had a few planets that were extremely detailed.. and now the makers of NMS are releasing a game with a super detailed planet.
and Todd had to sit there and watch it and took home no awards
Not just an extremely detailed planet, but one that is 200+ square miles. This will cement Hello Games as the absolute masters of procedural generation for years.
HG also is not greedy as big Ole Bethesda. I lost all respect for Bethesda after New Vegas.. HG fixed thier own issues and added more to NMS, where Bethesda waits for their community mods to make the game better.
Yeah, instead of buying Starfield I bought No Mans Sky and have been loving it. Also, I would rather give my monetary support to Hello Games than Bethesda at this point
@@RodneyG669 Is it really only 200 square miles?
No Man's Sky, to me, is a tech marvel. It took a procedural generation to a level we have never seen. Just being able to create a system and it be stable to accommodate massive multiplayer is incredible. Their system is something truly special and NMS is a small step of their potential.
Hell yes. I've thought about changing genre a bit on an NMS formula for a while now, it fits so well with so many of the mechanisms they've developed over the years. And there is a fantastical element to the tech already, plus a bunch of lessons learned over all this development time. Hope they make a good foundation that they can build on better than the constraints they've had to deal with with NMS. Looks like the big buildings have more heft and mystery, which is something I've wanted. It's all one planet, it seems? Possibly endless (a la Minecraft's pseudo-endless ongoing land)? One thing I've had to turn off for my old machine has been multiplayer because of the performance drop, so I guess I'll have to upgrade. I'm also curious if the building trees or whatever will have some innovations, since NMS's formulas seem like several layers of ideas rather than something a bit more cohesive. I know a lot of survival geeks will want some depth there, although the trick will be to make sure they're intuitive enough that you don't have to do a ton of research to do basics.
I'm totally ready for this :)
Great to see you’re as hyped as I’ve been ever since it dropped! Soooooo excited no sleep for me tonight 😂❤
subbed I'm so excited for this game I've always dreamed of an open world planet sized medieval game.
Excited for this so bad - looked at my bf and told him I hope to se him play as a giant bear character riding a golden yellow dragon. I’m already trying to think of a taming, farming cooking loop as a rabbit
The BF already knows I’m gonna go tame crazy
Love your excitement, it's contagious. Hope it comes out on Xbox day one because I will buy it for sure!!!! Love the videos, keep up the good work.
i hope all next gen platforms or else it may cause another stir
First! And I am very excited for this game too! Fantasy NMS?! Sign me up! We have Dragons!!!
love how the broken water in NMS has been a meme for years now and they finally reveal this new game that's running on the same engine with the same art style and it has the best looking water shader hello games has ever made lol. Jokes aside though this game looks absolutely beautiful, and it totally explains a ton of the kinda random things they added to nms
Now THIS is the kind of world I wish we could find in NMS. Absolutely perfect. I might, repeat, might, actually buy this, but am currently not sure. I guess this was why NMS updates have seemed so much smaller as of late, and why certain expeditions have seemed so lackluster. All makes sense now. Rockatoa, Brickticks out!
im sooooo pumped!!!!!!!!! :P LOOKS SO GOOD!
I’m hoping that is Light No Fire gets updated, so does No Man’s Sky. So each game develops in lock step and no one gets left behind. I also hope this planet has actual cities.
Crazy hyped for this game. Played NMS from the launch and I actually liked it, at launch. The emptiness was its own kind of vibe that I really liked.
This looks like a D&D-like adventure/exploration/survival game and that's 100% for me.
Subbed to your channel bro, if you're covering this game, I'm here for it!
Definitely excited for this. A dream game in lots of ways, even with so few details. Also excited because Hello Games is a far more seasoned, mature developer after all their work and success with NMS. Hyped for sure.
As a launch player and diehard fanboy I’m still gonna remain a little skeptical cuz we all know what happened last time…however….
Oh my gosh dude I am so hyped I already wanted to scream during the update teaser, but A WHOLE NEW GAME ON THIS SCALE?? God damn man HG never fails to make me excited. I never saw the initial reveal of NMS but I imagine this is what it felt like and I’m glad I got to experience it
This looks incredibly fun, I wonder how builds will be handled, if player builds are also handled well then the game could be something VERY special.
The giant red cube reminds me of the Ancient Data Structures in NMS 8:00
I can't believe i'm actually hyped for a game and all i'm expecting was on screen
I am kinda looking forward to Pax Dei just because i want a chill building in nice environment, to make my mark in a beautiful fantasy world and see what others build.
This looks just like what I am looking for, with lesser danger of a MMO grind. Super excited.
They took everything that works in NMS and created a new game. It looks amazing
I think what they might be going for is something similar to wurm online where almost everything is player driven. My biggest hopes are that there is some proper PvP integration and fleshed out questing.
I kinda knew the next game with NMS's formula was going to be fantasy.
I hope they come back to sci-fi adjacent and do like a steampunk or cyberpunk game with this gameplay and formula.
I have to honest though, sci-fi is my interest and not fantasy, but I'm happy for Hello Games new game and i hope everyone enjoys Light No Fire.
I'm really really geeked for this
Hellogames with No Mans Sky has earned respectful credibility. Happy to purchase, as the results will be solid. Rock solid.
I like your No Man's Sky videos, so I'm excited for your Light No Fire videos.👍
I'm unbelievably excited. It's amazing what hello games has accomplished. Can't wait to be a wizard
This is the dream game I have been wanting all my life. Animal avatars, animal mounts. I hope this will be a REAL exploration survival game with magic, combat, farming, mining, fishing etc. ALL IN ONE. Still imagine if Hello Games had 100 devs????? :) the amount of creativeness and imagination put into this would be EPIC. I kind of feel sorry for only 12 devs working on this, hope Sean doesn't push them or make them work TOOOOOO hard.
I’m hoping this game has deeper RPG mechanics, but I’m expecting a more casual game. I’m curious how it will work if everyone is building on one server. Will structures stand forever? Will we be trying to claim land?
Right?? I think one large planet is big enough for us to still feel somewhat isolated while coming across people significantly more often. But it also potentially allows for whole little towns to form. How heavily instanced will it be? Will there be a "center of the galaxy" style mechanic to get a new planet? So many questions.
ok let me hype up for feature or dlc wishlist for light no fire
I wish we have a fantasy air ship which acts as mobile base like nms freighter with base build capabilities which we can cruise over the planet.
Skyrim NMS is something I've need a while!
Personally i really want procedurally generated towns, cities AND dungeons im talking full size, like an evolution of what bethesda achieved with daggerfall where both cities and dungeons are large enough you could get lost in them if you’re not careful.
Oh.. my... goodness... Light No Fire looks absolutely amazing... it really does have the DNA of No mans sky... and... i truly havent been THIS hyped up for a LONG while... with other games too... but this.... this is going to be one of (hopefully is going to be one of) the best games thatll be coming out (hopefully next year? Fingers/claws crossed) and to think this game is also using NMS's game engine..... says something... and an indie game too....
I will like to clarify one thing...... i did notice that the dragons shown in this trailer.... there are both hexapedal dragons.... and also quite a few quadrupedal WYVERNS..... just wanted to mention that.... oh and i also noticed something.... MULTIPLAYER CAPES!!!!.......
Anyways.... this game.... is going to certainly be one of those i SURE will be on the lookout for... props to the team at Hello Games!...
1:24 Gondor calls for aid.
One thing to keep in mind with this is Hello Games had 3 years of development for No Mans Sky, with no prior structure to build a game like No mans sky. 2013 to 2016. 2 years later the game was pretty much in the state they promised at the start. So it took them 5 years all in all to make No mans sky into the promised game. Light no Fire is not only 5 years in development already. They now have 10 years experience with this sort of game.
i think all the recently added items in NMS that look very similar to things in this trailer could possibly be HG tying the story's/lore together
Procedurally generated dragons! Imagine finding dragons (or breeding them) that look different just like ships in NMS. I'm so frickin hyped for this new game!
I’m excited for this game but we really don’t know anything, the trailer didn’t show any gameplay.
A lot of people thought about it in the past, them using the NMS tech but in a single, big planet. Glad they're finally doing that.
Heads-up: you can go frame by frame with , and .
Oh wow! You're right! I'll have to remember that for my next trailer breakdown. Thanks!
Idk but I have a feeling that we are gonna get are hands on Lnf next year. I mean HG have been working on this for 5 yrs. They are experts in Procedural worlds. I'm hoping this year. I'm pre-orderedng the highest one they offer, I'm so stoked.
I'm hoping that's the case, but with Hello Games you never know. They might decide to keep expanding scope like they have with No Man's Sky. lol Thanks for watching!
This looks absolutely incredible!
Given the sheer scale of it, I can't help but think Minecraft with no man's sky graphics and it seems like people can build really close to one another, so if that building system holds up with enough variety, can you even imagine the settlements people might build in this world eventually?
Can't wait to find out more, like releasedate, system, and whether it will Support vr like no man's sky.
I cannot wait!
I wonder if 'Light No Fire' is a nod to the Souls games. In which you light every fire, all the time, for eternity.
Please please please support VR. NMS VR is one of the best VR experiences you can play.
Let me make this clear. Ill probably play this regardless of anything i say because there eill at least be enough procedural stuff in the game to keep interesting for atleast a week or 2. Possibly a month. One thing i really am hoping for is procedurally generated villages/towns. Kind of somthing like in Minecraft. Different villages for different biomes and different structures to run into like temples, castles ruins, monster villages. Im going to need variety of stuff to do while exploring cause if all there is, is just exploring the biomes and making a base, then thatll get dull real quick. Especially without any PvP.
really looking forward to this game, love NMS.
I don't care what anyone tells me about getting on the hype train for this and not get my hopes up, I am ALL FOR THIS game big timeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. This will be the biggest game ever made, so it's like No Man's Sky but on a smaller scale on our real planet size earth but BIGGER. I have so much faith in Hello Games, they will pull this off and become a huge success. I do wish though that there dev team would be more than 12 devs working on it, imagine if they had 80 devs.
I love the way this game looks. the mounts are awesome and the character creation seems so cool. My only question is whether all players will share one world, or will it be every time we create a new character it makes a new world. I fear that with a large population of players, the land and resources may be scarce.
The land and resources won't be scarce. It's bigger than earth, which accommodates 8 billion people and all but a tiny fraction of that 8 billion will never even hear of this game, let alone play it.
I'm sure private servers will be a thing, but I also think you don't even need to be in a private server to have a single player like experience if that's what you want to do; the world is so huge you can easily avoid other players.
The title made me sub. lol
Hopefully in VR.
And after this NMS 2 and I will never play anything else.
Man, imagine the 1h civilizations videos on RUclips with this game!
Starting cities, wars, revolutions, etc!
I think it is self published on Steam HG is listed as developer and publisher and 505 is not listed so I think its safe to say it is self published however 505 may be brought on for physical distribution.
Your hyped?!?!? I'm hyped! I love fantasy games but man they all have boarders and uhg..... This is going to be incredible. If it is truly the size, or greater, of earth there will be so much to explore and if only 10% of the 39 billion gamers plays it then man there will be a lot to find that no-one has found. crazy!!!
If I have one concern is having more than 20 people in one spot at a time. We pulled it off in the Sunday ship meets but some folks were lagging hard core.
Kinda cool because it's said that our planet earth is actually smaller than majority of habitable planets, while being multiplayer is incredibly shocking meaning this game could hold insane gigabits.
was at work and saw this ad firs ttime i don't instantly skip I was like wth is this I wanted to buy today lol
Hopefully they learned from NMS and can apply it to this. I'm excited to see it!
It would be awesome if the endgame is just like NMS center of universe mechanic applies to LNF. Where when you get to the end goal of the planet you're on a portal something or other transports you to a whole new Procedurally generated earth.
Super excited for this one, don't get me wrong, i'll be spending a ton of time on it. But imagine if they take what they learn here and put it into no mans sky 2, could you imagine having a galaxy of planets like this?
What I'm mainly wondering is how MP is being handled. How many players can be around at once in NMS now? With this only being one planet, are they gonna handle that one planet like galaxies? Or are they gonna heavily instance things so people can play totally alone?
Because I feel like this engine inherently solves one of my big dreams I've always had for Minecraft. I like the idea of playing on a server, of having the chance to see what other people are doing, but I also want to stay isolated. The entire population of NMS on one planet forever is an interesting idea.
For PC it's 32 per instance then 16 on next-gen and so on. I think they'll allow bases to be uploaded in some way, but don't expect to find fully populated players bases randomly. imo NMS is much heavier on PvE than PvP, but maybe LNF will change that.
It makes no sense to have "roaming" region instances, and the game looks to aim for seamless. Any hiccups or lag while travelling to a new region with a large party is not ideal. That being said, I think a 32-64 player whole earth instance which handles like a Minecraft/Valheim server would be very cool. Imagine 32 players racing to complete one planet sized main quest, while 32 others just ignore it, building castles on their own, perhaps lending a hand or sabotaging another player. All of it on survival mode.
Or maybe you will be able to make dragon races through mountains or game modes like CtF but with castles. Since it's confined to one planet, if they give the community tools, we can really make infinite content.
The main issue with putting everyone and everything on one map is griefing and map pollution. Look at any Minecraft server spawn. Players will flock to certain areas and make a mess There needs to be a consistent sandbox base to this game that is fun in its own right. Any player made content you interact with should only make the game more fun. It shouldn't hinder you or detract from your experience. You should choose who to play with and how to play. Public, private, party, randoms, up to you.
But that's just my opinion. Make it all optional but let players add a bit of depth to their creations in terms of game modes, quests, campaigns, puzzles/traps, and dungeons in addition to traditional survival settlement-building gameplay.
@@mattallred64 players on an earth sized map? Unless you're given quests that directly overlap or some other story based action forces it, you'll never run into a player outside of your party with 64 players on an earth scale.
@@jayjayhooksch1 ok well the max multiplayer in No Man's Sky is 32 players in the same star system on PC and half that on console. The alternative for LNF is zones/regions (instances) which you need to load when travelling between. There's no way you're going to be playing in a seamless open-planet with 100s-1000s of players all building and fighting in real time. My guess is on PS5/XSX you'll have a limit of 32 players. As far as I know this game isn't an MMORPG, and neither is NMS.
Look at Minecraft, it's much more basic than this game and dedicated PC servers only hold about 150-300 players at a time, yet that's never been an issue, even though the map-size is basically infinite. 64 is a little less than half of 150 and the map size is finite. We don't know how big the planet is but with 64 players you could have 16 parties of 4 at once.
Personally, I think 16 parties of 4 is preferable to totally disconnected instances/zones. Let's assume it works how you want it to work though. You are fighting some people who built a base near you, and they start to run, you hop on your dragon and give chase. They go over a mountain and despawn because they have loaded into another instance. You think you've just lost track of them and keep going, loading into a new instance yourself. There's now an entirely new group of players who are more powerful than you and they chase you back across the mountain. You despawn on their screen as you load back into your original instance.
It makes no sense at all to have multiplayer be instanced on a single persistent planet. It worked for Star Systems in NMS because you would load into it when you jumped to it. In my opinion, MP will be handled more like Minecraft or Rust.
@@mattallred Well Sean Murray said "we're going to let everyone play in it together" during his interview at the game awards so we'll have to wait and see.
Your assumptions are based on PvP which we don't even know if that will be a thing. "Persistent buildings" was mentioned as well, which to me reads at least that other players can't destroy your buildings which suggests a lack of PvP.
You also mentioned chasing a group of players only to load into a zone with other players while assuming less than 100 players per server. I don't think you realize just how big this map is; unless the game is designed to force players to find each other via some type of story element, you could ride your dragon mount for literal months full time 8 hours a day and never see even a sign of another player. The odds of you running into another player on an earth sized map with only 32-64 players will be worse than your odds of winning the lottery. There isn't even a point in having multiplayer with only 64 players imo. Again, unless quests intersect or something to that effect.
They can do it! I will buy this game day 1! Letsss gooo! 😁
I'm kind of hoping for a site update that will cover the different playable races and a confirmation/denial of console playability + ETA for release
my only concern atm would be spawn location(s) + how many people will be playing... will we have servers (hope not)? layers?
Riding a dragon in VR? Hell yes I've got my sickbag prepared, just let me do it!
I really hope it'll release without any significant issues so the mainstream gets clued in on the fact that Hello Games isn't a maliciously greedy company from hell.
The hype isn't crazy insane this time around, looks like it'll have way more content than NMS on release.. but you just know some people have incurable PTSD from No Man's Sky's launch that even if they see a single crash from this game, it'll be irrefutable proof for them that HG is a terrible company. Because, you know, games never crash or something.
I agree! I hope the fact that they're sticking to a single planet helps with stability and bugfixing.
at 22;52 the object in the centre of the screen has the same symbol on the monoliths in no man sky
I think with the "single-player" and "online Co-op" it will more than likely be more akin to
Valheim or Minecraft with a "world generation" you can "Co-op" play with friends
no MMO tag, Hoping we can "seed" different worlds and invite friends for Co-op.
imagine if a secondary questline es about a magician tring to make some kind of magic being to save his land and at the end he call it atlas
I've been saying for years that I guarantee they have learned procedural techniques that they cannot implement into NMS without doing a universe reset. This is their chance to bring everything they've learned together. The fantasy setting is a great choice as it allows for so much more combat and traditional exploration.
@Kanaju When you pause it at 1:17 (23:09 on your vid) the character to the right side looks either feline or canine like, rather than bunny like, tail and all.
This looks like a dream fantasy game Ive been waiting for, but Im not going to get excited for it until its at least in beta. Be careful getting too hyped. I've been burned over and over.
All right great video as always, this new game it’s going to be amazing it’s all watch NMs didn’t have
So far I saw these as the playable races:
- Bear
- Bunny
- Human?
- Deer
- Fox or Wolf
- Badger?
I cannot wait to wander out inot this world as a cute little rabbit archer. 😊
A medeval version of no mans sky sounds wonderful. imaging years from now players going to war against each other in this game with seige weapons and magic, i imagine your player character would become a demigod like u are in every videogame ever. and i can also imagine people trying to figure out ways to leave the planet and failing.
Wynncraft is the only MMO I've been able to enjoy, Frieren is my favourite anime of all time and Lord of the Rings and the Eragorn series are my two favourite book series. It's safe to say I'm a fantasy enjoyer. So hearing that we're getting no man's sky but fantasy has made my week (and it's 3 days before Christmas)
This fricking overhyped me so dang hard. This i a way is what i always wanted for NMS. Can't wait :O
This is my biggest hit of the show! It looks incredible I just don’t think people quite grasp the magnitude and significance of what they are attempting to achieve with this game. It may be one of the biggest game changing games ever made. If they manage to improve upon the questing and storytelling from no man’s sky and make this game far better on that end as well then we are in for a game that will blow us all away
There is a small stream going down the hill at 31:27, so there is rivers! However i couldn't find any caves
i honestly thought its a new NMS update because the visuals look so similar and so do the plants and animals and the animations of the characters. i just hope its not some reskin of NMS with some extra features. im looking forward to it thought.
It's definitely build on the same (though improved) engine
It definitely looks like the gameplay will feel very similar to NMS since the player movement and animal riding looks almost identical to NMS. Even the dragon raises it's altitude when flying towards a mountain just like ships do in NMS.
Though I'm not saying it's a bad thing, NMS has a good game feeling to it, and being able to finally explore multiple biomes on one planet will be so refreshing.
Imagine it’s part of the lord real reveals that this is part of the atlas simulations but an isolated section of it that is still intact
8:29 HEY, maybe the new Space Station core in NMS is a cube now because of the ideas you sent? What do you think?
NMS does Valheim crossed with Ark.
I've put hundreds of hours into all 3 of those games.
Count me in.
i hope we can capture dungeons like in magi.
Def see this game connecting to NMS universe wise
