I’d say one weakness for Twice is the amount of high notes/random runs in their songs... it makes the song too noisy like in More & More with Nayeon’s high notes at the end.... I’m sorry but those high notes were not it...... I guess this isn’t Twice’s fault at all because they literally have no control over their music but instead to JYP.... I get what JYP is doing by giving them all these runs and challenging vocal techniques... he’s trying to push Twice into the Western public more.... cuz like after 2019, they have been including more English, and doing more vocal techniques that most of us Ariana, Justin, Demi, Billie, etc fans live for.....
I love chaeyoung and dahyun there my bias and bias wrecker but I feel like chaeyoung is the only real rapper within twice cause if you saw her predebeut stuff where she was able to use her full potential she is honestly one of the best but she doesn't really get to showcase that anymore so i think chaeyoung should have been a main rapper and then dahyun and momo should have been vocals and sub rappers sorry this is so long
No need to apologise, thank you for commenting!😊 yess I've seen some of Chaeyoung's predebut rapping so I don't understand why she isn't getting to showcase her abilities in Twice!
I agree. And I must add, I've seen other rappers from other idol groups complaining about not being able to "really" rap. I also happen to be a fan of khiphop as well and for a long time rappers were disrespectful to idol rappers, saying they can't really rap but they were judging them based off of their group performances, not realizing that they have no control. Its only when Bobby won show me the money and song Mino won 2nd place that some of them started being open minded.
@@dearyoongi i'm late to the party but oh my god please you could do a whole ass video on the mistreatment of nct, remind me to send you a billion voice notes about it sksksksksk
@@miarxse99 omg no word of a lie I started working on a video of like the many issues with NCT from mistreatment of members to this new 'Hollywood' unit and I realised quickly that there is...SO MUCH to unpack🙈😂
i have to disagree with "inconsistency" being skz's weakness. i actually think their ability to release things that are so wildly different from both their own previous tracks and also from anything else in kpop is a strength. just because you dont like a song doesnt mean it needs to "stay in the drafts"; side effects is my favourite skz title track and is the song that actually made me stan them. their concepts are refreshing, the storyline behind their music videos is interesting, and i like not being able to predict what they're going to do next. the versatility in their discography and the artistic control they have over their concepts are part of what makes them so special.
Thank you for commenting, I appreciate hearing your thoughts! But just like how you said not liking a song doesnt mean it should stay in the drafts, a song being your favourite and the reason you first started stanning the group doesn't immediately make it good if that makes sense? Music of course is very subjective and I personally don't feel that it is as strong as some of their music, which show their skills and versatility so much better by highlighting their biggest strengths in my opinion! I think there's more ways to show a group's versatility than by just having a huge variety of concepts 💖
tbh I think black pinks weakness is them not having enough comebacks. I'm a blink and when they didn't have any comebacks for over a year we were all starting to get bored of the same songs. the girls deserve better. apparently, yg has loads of songs, they just haven't released them. another strength of theirs is how patient and determined the girls are. I feel like some idols would have left the group by now, as they don't get much chance to actually show off their talent and had to perform the same songs for years. blackpink always gives their best performance and genuinely seem to love what they do. (yes I know there was that Jennie scandal when some stupid people said she was lazy but she seems to have gotten over that now, I think she was just sad or something. we should respect her privacy and just let her know we are here for her if we notice changes in her behaviour or performance) ❤❤❤❤
I agree! If YG really has got a lot more songs for them kept under wraps, then they really should be releasing them because one comeback a year isn't fair on either the girls or their fans. And yess, that's a very good point, they've been so incredibly patient!💖 Like you said, there are some idols who would have tried to close their contracts from waiting so long to do any activity
No offense but “most groups” are in small companies that have no guarantee of succeeding, BLACKPINK leaving BLACKPINK would be instant suicide in entertainment
As a stay i'd rather hear people say they don't vibe with some of stray kids songs than hearing them criticize them and calling them noise music without actually listening to their music. Each one of us have a different taste in music, so it's all good!
BTS release an mv and Army support it a whole lot with millions and millions and millions of likes, views, streams, downloads, etc... This can be harmful towards some artists because well, BTS will never know what the general public and casual listeners actually like because well hardcore Army’s will overshadow them by a lot....
100% agree! If fans are going to make every song crazy successful no matter what the concept or style, then the artists and their team will never know what actually works and what is the best direction for them (and what fans really want to see!)
@@jikookmints if you really genuinely like every single BTS song, then that's great! But that's not going to be the case for a large majority (where a group you like have a variety of sounds in their discography and you happen to like and enjoy every single one of them) 💖
i do agree w the weak rap line in twice but not because they're weak. i think they are/have the ability to be strong rappers, but jyp doesnt really let them rap?? like i wish that they would have rap based songs; instead of just having a song that really doesnt need a rap but throwing one in there just to say theres a rap line
Yess definitely, because even if they are strong rappers it really doesn't make them appear so by having a random rap verse in a song that doesn't need a rap. I think something needs to change: jyp need to give them more songs which make sense having a rap in? Or they need to give the rap line girls more opportunities to shine elsewhere within the group!
JYPE is wasting Twices rapper,if by chance they cant rap in a twice song give them a sub unit album it would be fire and could actually bring in more fans
Yeah, I do kinda agree that their (skz) concept is all over the place, but I kinda realized that these different themes, and mv’s together create a storyline- like a mood change thats happening towards the end of each song, and/or mv/performance. I’m not coming for you (ofc I won’t do that) but it’s just something a lot people don’t really realize about stray kids and there concept(s) although I do think the same sort of thing.
also for Everglow Yue Hua are overworking Mia. So yes it is good that Yue Hua is showing Mia's talent, but they need to do it to an extent that doesn't overly tire her out or exhaust her. I bet being a K-Pop idol is exhausting enough, but imagine Mia, with all her lines, and dance breaks, and things like that. I feel really bad for her, please don't hate Mia she's done nothing wrong, it's Yue Hua's fault.
I completely agree, and don't worry mentioning it in this video wasn't intenting to throw any hate Mia's way at all! I think she's so unbelievably talented and everybody can see that, but I'm also really concerned what the long lasting effects will be on her if they continue to overwork her :( Like you mentioned, none of this is her fault 💖
i feel 50/50 about the twice one, idk if it’s because i’m a once but i agree that twice’s raps can be like hits or miss. If we look at the rappers during sixteen, they were actually really good and it was nice to listen to. i guess it just depends on how jyp writes their raps
I think with Red Velvet, their vocal abilities and concept changes are obviously their advantage. But when it comes to their disadvantage, I feel as if as one of the big 3 GG’s they aren’t producing enough content (minus 2020 because of Wendy). For example, we handily get dance practice videos, videos with the girls just being together, vlogs, etc (you know what I mean?) this is not the girls faults at all but seeing what SM is capable of, Red Velvet should’ve been pushed/promoted way harder to the public. Seeing BP and Twice numbers and group activities compared to RV makes me be like “damn ):”
thank you so much for this comment, I completely agree! SM have given Red Velvet a variety of concepts and they have proven they can pull them off and the fans were happy to see them (which should be a win win for any company, knowing they have such a versatile group). But when it comes to promotion of the girls outside of whenever they have a comeback, it's a whole lot of nothing. If the girls have other interests (acting, presenting, DJing etc etc), then we want to see it! If they want to start a RUclips channel, then let them etc! Ngl, I sometimes worry if SM aren't careful, RV will meet the same fate that f(x) unfortunately did in the end (from a comeback one day to nothing the next).
@@dearyoongi me too, and i hate to bring aespa in this convo but for comparison, aespa just debuted and the amount of content they're getting is outstanding (including outside of comeback promotions), they're engaged with fans and are always posting on their instagram (something rv stopped doing or were told to stop by SM). and a few years ago red velvet used to be super active, but I am now wondering if this is a SM tradition pattern that once their one active gg becomes a senior group, they begin getting neglected as the next rolls in. reading this over, none of my words made sense lol. but i completely agree with what you said. All im asking for SM is to use the last few years they have left with RV (if they resign) and really do them right. we dont need boy group after boy group coming back every other week! (sorry for the long paragraphs)
Don't worry, everything said you made total sense because there really does seem to be a pattern with SM and their girl groups now! I'm just hoping that we're proven wrong, every time SM decides to stop promoting an older gg because they've made a new one, it never makes any sense bc the group they're essentially pushing to the side still always have huge followings excited for more content from them! (And no need to apologise for the big paragraphs either, I like them!😊)
Thank gosh I'm not the only one that prefers BTS's old music. Not that their recent productions are trash it's just I prefered the older sound/concepts/feels
Everyone and i mean everyone agrees that nct deserves a reality tv show "keeping with the nct's" "The real nct's" I don't watch reality shows but for this i will
I'm kinda late to this video, but you hit the nail on the head with every single group imo, especially the weaknesses. It was very refreshing to see when stans always overwhelm everything by a group with comments saying how perfect everyone is.
I respectfully disagree with the opinion on Twice's rap line. Dahyun's rap in Feel Special and Chaeyoung's in Fancy were too iconic in my opinion. However, I do agree that Stray Kids' discography is very inconsistent. Would love a part two with more groups as well! (Itzy, TXT, (G)I-DLE, Loona, Pentagon, etc.) Love the video.
Thank you so much for commenting, I really appreciate hearing people's honest opinions (even if it doesn't agree with mine!😁) I'll definitely make a part 2, thank you so much for the suggestions!💖
honestly those both raps were weak, u all hype those bc are the best ones they have but no, those were not even close to be good raps neither with the flow, the lyrics or voice
Ugh I wish u did got7 lol. But I completely agree with bts playing it safe rn. I feel like they need to pop off and do what they did long ago cuz personally I don’t listen to their new songs only their older ones. I agree with twice too. I’m a once but I’m sorry I can’t stand momo rapping😤. She’s a dance machine but I don’t like the nasal voice personally n chaeyoung is a hidden gem. I feel like her vocals are really good but aren’t fully expressed in their songs
I'll make sure to include got7 in a part 2!😁 I'm glad that somebody sees my point about bts and twice too, I'd love to see bts take more risks again and twice to play to their actual strengths more
Mhm I also didn’t click much with the newer releases of butter and dynamite and they sounded a bit generic specifically compared to wonderful songs like spring day or fake love. I would really love if they go back to their experimental side along with BU( I noticed they stopped the universe story as well) as those were the things which made me genuinely like and appreciate their music.
black swan is still a bside but if you're looking in general for the few past years since boy with luv/dynamite and now butter is more like pop songs maybe because they want to attract the western audience more idk
I think a weakness of BTS is they don't follow a certain style. They started from being a highly hip hop influenced group and followed what other groups did to success in industry and people were like oh we got another hip hop group so they got criticised for copying others and actually the criticism pushed them to be themselves. They changed their style and turned into a concept group which most people fell in love making bts start gaining a strong fandom. But suddenly they changed their style once again and started being more pop influenced more modernised group and people were like so this is what new bts will do in future. However they changed their style once again lately and become a highly pop influenced westernised group. The problem is they catch attention from different communities but those fans can't stay in the fandom when the reason why they stan is no longer there. This even make me question who are bts? Are they the group I fell in love with because of their rebellious aura, are they those boys who's carelessly having fun running around, are they the positive group who sing about loving yourself or are they those boys wearing colourful clothes as they sing an english song?
I think this isn't a weakness but power...the always change their concepts and there is no thing called "typical bts" ... Changing concepts always...in every era... That had a journey and cause too... How u described it , it wasn't it....they didn't follow ppl , at that time , they were doing some sort of rebellious concepts , dark concepts , etc.... So... don't twist things ig ? They changed every era.... Like mbmil pt 1 and wings have no match and wings to love yourself have no match too.... That's their experimental aura... I like the changing and experimenting , so I am here... I consider it as their major power
You may not like Stray Kids' inconsistency, but its the aspect I love about them the most. Knowing that I could never predict what their next song would sound like, makes me feel excited even more. Side effects will always be one of my favourite title tracks, because of the fact Stray Kids did one of the most rarely done genres in K-Pop; Psytrance. (I love psytrance alot and wish it was done more) Stray Kids' "inconsistency" is what makes me want to stay and listen to their music more, because that "inconsistency" is what make Stray Kids, Stray Kids. Stray Kids is the only group I could actively listen to without stanning them, but now that I stan them, I appreciate their music even more.
I totally agree with u on ALL u said abt BTS. Their production/lyricism is def their strongest part, while YES they r playing safe with their music nowadays. Butter, On and Back swan were rly AMAZING tho. I'm in love with Butter even tho it's a 2021 song and that too english, but Dynamite and PTD didn't stick to me that much. I DON'T BLAME BTS. With how much hate they r getting, it's totally normal for them to NOT do smth too reckless, but YES i wish they would not be pushed back that much
Twice should take the Red Velvet approach to their rap line up. Even though Red Velvet has a rap line up, they definitely are more so singers who occasionally rap. I think Daehyun and Chaeyoung are solid vocalists who don’t need to be boxed into only getting a rap break in every song. They can both sing really well and shouldn’t have to rap in every single song.
I like this idea a lot! I think in a lot of Twice's songs you could take away the almost random rap parts and give Chae and Dahyun some lines to sing instead, and it would be a nice improvement! Like you said, there really doesn't need to be a rap in every song when the vibe is being achieved so nicely already with just vocals!
Thank you so much🥰 and you're right, it would actually be so interesting to see how they'd develop as rappers under a company which creates more hip hop artists!
imo twice don't have bad rappers they get bad raps. for skz, while i personally love their large variety of music styles and genres, i can see how that would be a downside for other people. i dont like that it can also be a negative but i do respect it.
I kinda disagree with Blackpink. I stan them for around 2 years now and i have to say, that i get the point but disagree. The "Formula" Theory got debunked so many times and it's just not true. I do agree that some songs share similarities if u just look how the songs are structured, but the structure of a song does not mean it's the same formula. They did a lot of different things on The Album and i appreciated Ice Cream for being different, even though people don't like it and it's not my favorite song either. I do agree tho that it's kind of sad to think about how much potential gets wasted by not letting Blackpink do more themselves. I mean their next comeback is currently rumored in October...so again a year after their last comeback. It's just so sad to watch Blackpink grow but YG still doesn't change their way to handle Blackpink. I do hope that Blackpink does more different styles in the future, but to be honest...i like Blackpink exactly for what they do, so after all i don't want them to change their sound too much...more like...improve it.
thank you for commenting! same as you, I definitely see both sides of the story here and I have been supporting them since debut so I definitely find it sad that a lot of their potential is not being properly explored. However, a lot of their earlier releases (back when they were only having around one a year) were the same in formula and therefore structurally (I think the video in the description proves it quite well). but I deffo saw YG trying to take some risks for The Album too like you said. Oh wow I had no idea their next comeback was rumoured for October, you're right it's just sad seeing both the girls and fans wait so long for more music, but I think while fans are still anticipating things, YG is never going to improve or change the way they promote the girls (the whole giving them and the fans not very much technique)! But same here I do like and support the girls and I'd like to see what they do next, and I hope that the company understand that we'd like to see their strengths explored to their full ability, it's what they and the fans deserve!💖
But the formula refers exactly to structure, so their music is indeed formulaic, if you make ten cakes with the same recipe but changing only a few ingredients, they're all gonna taste different but the recipe is pretty much the same. If you look at how choruses, pre choruses, verses and rap lines are distributed, and which members sings what, Blackpink's one the least diverse groups when it comes to that.
so they are coming back after a year?thats dismal really this strategy of starving Blinks may back fire one day, when you look at how little discography the girls have-4 years for a full album and it only has 6 new songs(2 were pre releases)thats not good for an Idol group and some would call that a mini album. as for the formula it is the same, sadly its the Teddy Formula and it gets kind of boring and repetitive.
@@miminkotube What? When u make a cake with the same recipe...it's the same cake, when u use other ingredients its not the same recipe anymore?! Bro what was that logic? Just check what others with actual knowledge say about Blackpink and then u have your proof how diverse they are. Just because the structure is similar, doesn't even make it the same recipe, because a recipe is what is inside a cake, but not how it's made (sometimes it does, but it's mainly the ingredients and how much of it). So no, having a similar structure doesn't mean it's the same recipe. Bro why is this discussion only about Blackpink all the time? Like Blackpink is the only group that uses a similar structure for some of their songs...not even all of them. When u don't like the songs or just don't like Blackpink then just say it, but stop try to reason your opinion and act like there is some kind of "fact" behind it. It's your opinion and that's it. When u think u are right, tell me one person with actual production background who knows about producing a song and tell me where this person ever said that Blackpink's songs are similar. Until then, stop act like u have any idea of producing and try to stick to what professionals say...and they all agree with me.
I think i shed a tear when you stated that you hated double knot and side effects. i feel like those are some of there best songs it’s 2 my favorites. i respect your opinion but damnnnnn what’s wrong with those songsss. i do have to agree on them being a little all over the place but as i grew more into a stay you definitely have to understand the storyline and the lyrics of most songs. they have a style that’s there own that i haven’t really heard from other groups(i’m a multi stan😭) that’s really why they are my ult group. they keep me guessing of what are we gonna get a soft concept or dark. but they’re also that group that have songs for every emotion or day your having if you wanna think about it in a more positive way. Also i think another strengths they have is definitely that they are well-rounded. they don’t even have positions anymore because they do it all. they all dance, rap(well enough), and sing(amazing). A second strength(kinda) is they all know what they want and how to get it. kinda meaning they really found there set team and really know who they are as a group. not that other group’s don’t but i just noticed that in straykids like they are who they are and are really confident. I don’t know if that’s a strength but it seems like it to me. this was really long anyways…. i love you channel abs your opinions they don’t feel to harsh😭😭 and sometimes i’m a really sensitive person. ❤️❤️❤️ keep it up.
thank you so much for the lovely comment, I really appreciate it!💖 Don't worry, I completely understand everybodies tastes can be different, like there may be songs I love and think are amazing which you would hate!
BTS themselves have said that they are eager to try new concepts and musical styles and are evolving from what they are they never necessarily stick to any concept they do what they like honestly. What you said about their weakness does not make sense because if they really wanted to play safe and appeal to the wider audience they would never have released life goes on after dynamite. While many ppl prefer their old style of music, I do think their music reflects how they mature and change ever so constantly as artists.
I don't think 'Life Goes On' was a risk for them though in my opinion? This is a style they have tried before and know works really well with their Korean audience (first example I can think of is the icon that is 'Spring Day', which is one of my faves too!). So I personally feel it was to remind people of their authenticity when people were accusing them of changing for releasing fully English/Western-style music when some time ago they said they had no intention of doing so if that makes sense.
@@dearyoongi agree the pop tracks like bwl , butter , dyna but something has been going around army twt which is everybody wishing for rocktan cuz bts vocals are solid hard they will really do well especially jimin's raspy voice
BTS' weakness is definitely their vocals, I wouldn't put their music as a strength but their dance and rap. BP's strength has to be their stage presence/vibe, their music is mediocre, and basic exactly the same. Their biggest weakness are their vocals, lack of music and large breaks in between. NCT's biggest weakness is their obsession with 'experimental' music.
i agree with the twice one! chaeng and dahyun are my biases and i feel that they don’t need a rap in every song. but i also feel like JYP will end up either giving them lines out of their vocal range or no lines at all. this was obviously the case a few times but since he seems to have been actually listening to ONCE this year, i feel like he’s gonna chance to take their lines and RUN. chaeyoung is already a great vocalist and dahyuns soft voice is really pretty but i genuinely think if there isn’t a rap line they won’t get lines. and the potential we saw from chaeyoung pre-debut was so good and i feel she has a lot of room to grow so if forced raps is the price we have to pay 🤞😕
I'm just going to comment on the ones I find interesting: Ateez - I personally am not sure that is a strength. They have almost no support in Korea. If for some crazy reason they lose international support, they really have nothing to fall back on. BTS - Hummmm I guess I can see your point. But also it can be said that they are getting older and their interest are changing. It's going to reflect in their music as well. General... I liked Side Effects but also hated double knot. Agree wholeheartedly that they are inconsistent which is what stopped me from stanning. Still a big fan though. MERA is awesome and I love her videos
Thank you so much for commenting, I love hearing peoples' opinions (so sorry for the essay reply ahah!🙈💖) I deffo see your point about Ateez, but I guess it works both ways in the sense that if a group is popularly only in Korea, when fans there move on from them they wouldn't have any international fanbase to fall back on. So I think it must depend more on the direction they want their group to head! Regarding BTS, you're right! The group have been around for a while now, so it's likely that their own tastes as well as the company's have changed, but I personally think its changed more to cater towards a western audience and not because of their personal tastes! However of course that's just my opinion, they could all turn around and say they prefer their current sound and prove me completely wrong haha! And I'm so glad somebody agrees with me about Stray Kids! I really do love some of their stuff and would love to enjoy more of it, but that's unfortunately not the case :( And yess, Mera! It's actually the only video I've seen but I'll deffo check out more!😁
@@dearyoongi No problem. I am always on YT. Thought this is the first time I have come across your channel. The Ateez point can be true but I find Koreans are very loyal about their idols but you are right. Also I agree with your weakness as well. It's why I have not enjoyed their title tracks lately. For BTS I was thinking of it along the lines of they are also getting older. I have a friend who is a dancer and she often says it takes a tole on the body. They practice a lot and really go hard when they dance. They are going to feel it after a while. I was thinking they may be planning for the future and how to deal with these intense dances. Then again like you said they could prove me wrong and come out with a Fire pt 2. I look forward to Mera's content monthly. She can be inconsistent with posting but I am always entertained.
But....but Chaeyoung was an absolute beast of a rapper back during Sixteen. I do agree that TWICE's raps are not my favorite but I still think Chaeyoung is an absolutely amazing rapper regardless.
I also know that ateez has two categories as powerful and chill ones but especially for the powerful side there’s a variety to the sounds they use. Thanxx and Wonderland sound quite different if you listen more than once and pay attention to the production. Also I have never seen a group performing like it’s their last time on every stage they get on as much as ateez does. I can’t be so objective since I’m an atiny but i felt like these stuff should be mentioned when it comes to pirate kings. Definitely no hate intended!!! What are your thoughts on Deja vu?
For me another bts weakness is them being forced into loneliness. They are a very social group and they used to be close to many other groups plus many of them are in famous idol friend groups but they're not allowed to hang around and spent time with their friends anymore. Even when they try (like 97ers meeting "scandal") people get angry and say things like if they want to have friends that much they should leave their group. Jin can't see his friends sandeul and ken anymore, jimin can't meet with his padding squad, jk prolably can't meet like he used to after the scandal and it hurts. They're from 2012-13 era where idol groups befriend and show their friendship but they can't even get close to idols anymore
Gosh, I think I can almost 100% agree with this video. I been with Blackpink 3 years and just felt there’s a pattern to their title songs and mvs and though they’re all bops it would be nice if they can feel free to try different things.
Groups I’d like to see in Part 2: CLC SNSD SHINee AB6IX Weeekly Mamamoo GOT7 TXT APINK Lightsum Purplekiss ONEUS Red Velvet GFriend (G)I-DLE 4Minute ITZY IZ*ONE IOI WANNAONE Fromis_9 Wei CherryBullet VIXX Weki Meki F(x) Aespa I know it’s a lot of groups, and that it will probably take multiple parts to do them all, but I’m curious about your opinion on these groups. You could also do a video on Soloists, too. Like, AleXa Boa Sunmi Taeyeon Somi Chungha Kang Daniel Kim Jaehwan Kim Donghan Taemin Key Other Idols in groups who are also solo… (Hwasa, Solar, Jennie, Rose, Lisa, Eunbi, Jeon Soyeon, etc) Also (sorry this comment is so looooong, lol), when I finally start making RUclips videos, not on this channel I’m commenting with, I will totally be doing my own version of this. Don’t worry, I’ll make sure I give you the credit for inspiration. If you got all the way to here, HELLO! Thanks for reading, and remember to spread love, not hate. Yes, even to people you don’t like. Bye!
But what about ON & Black Swan and BE creator nim? I don't think these songs were safe especially some of the BE album songs like B&G and also Film Out!!!
I fully agree with the BTS opinion. I love all of their music but I feel like the songs they release these days feel slightly generic as they have to fit the pop style that appeals to the biggest audience. Like Dynamite and Butter are super catchy but I'm not really getting that like unique BTS feeling from them. I don't have a problem with the fact that their music is changing but I still miss the sort of raw meaning and intensity of their older songs.
In my opinion, i think Blackpink’s strength is rap. All 4 are good at rap, and 2 are absolutely excellent. 2 of the best female rappers in the industry and Jennie in the overall industry as well.
@@petyay.2485 incomparison to ther female groups i think op is right. Twice rap line is pretty damn good. The issue is there no song where they can actually rap and flow. For a while. Chaeyoung by her self is already a rapper that above average when it comes to kpop women.
@@LittleLightIsaOnce But its ussles to argue whit someone who doesnt want to undrstand, like only groups that have better rapline and come to my mind is like BlackPink, Gidle and Everglow every other girl group i can think of Twice is better
About Twice, i don’t think they are weak at rap, so i disagree, however i do think that JYP doesn’t give them enough fast, better raps. I don’t completely blame him because that’s not really their style, but my point is i don’t think they are weak rappers i just think they don’t get fast raps so they can’t show their full potential.
@@gayatrisaanvi77 well don't know where u got that, the promotions for ON, where really bad, from no having a teaser to changing dates and activities days before the comeback, the promo for Life goes on, is easily the worst and cheapest promo on Kpop history, 2 days before the cb a d BH didnt drop anything more than all BH groups singing Dynamite, companies like YG,SM, and even JYP know how important is to at least, the week before the comeback, get people interested and focused with promotional pics, teasers, and activities that help the group, BH don't, the promo pics for both Dynamite and butter where pics that u can easily take on your phone, the promote BTS like if they had 0 budget while Gfriend, TXT and other BH groups get amazing concepts, promo, styling and everything, and it has favoritism over groups example 1 sharing articles saying that TXT has a better story line than BTS, 2 hyping YJ being called the 4th generation it boy but not mentioning not even once Jimin being known as the it boy, also doesnt allow solo work of any kind so the members can't do anything by themselves even when some of them want to, I can easily say that BTS are one of the most overworked idols, so BH overworks them but don't promote well the work they do, while using the money on expensive promo for others, all this in the profesional area, but if we add, BH allowing people who physically abused a member to work with them, allowing saesangs to work with them, erasing BTS solo bsides from american music charts when the song does better than the main one, and more, and I know that u r going to try to justify but if any of the Big 3 where the ones doing the same BH does with BTS u would call them out

I kind of agree with twice rap line but I think it's because jyp never gave twice a song where they could show their talent to rap. Also I agree with BP and BTS doing almost the same or keeping It safe every comeback, you can try new styles and be succesful like nct or skz
I love kpop RUclips commenters but I really dislike when they use the google/Siri voice it gets really hard to here and makes it hard to enjoy the video. But I understand that a person can have insecurities about there voice but I just wanted to express my opinions. No hate. 💕👍🌸
Don't worry, I know no hate intended so thank you for sharing! I just use the robot voice to make sure it's easier for everybody to understand, because I know English isn't everybodies first language and I'm hoping it's a bit easier for people! 💖
For other groups I’d like to see in the future, they’d be: Exo, Red Velvet, Got7, Itzy, Aespa, iKon, Winner, 2pm, Day6, Treasure, Mamamoo, Dreamcatcher, (G)I-DLE, CLC, TXT, etc. And they would definitely not need to be in one vid. You can space them out! I agreed with all of your opinions on this. Especially Blackpink. I was considering not even listening to KPop after How You Like That came out because I thought that after Psy released one comeback a year and they sounded the same and then Blackpink did the same thing (man... what’s up over at YG?), that the entire industry would be full of artists who push out the same song every year. Thankfully, I was wrong and now love KPop. But yeah, they need to diversify their discography a bit. Even their debut album was pretty short and sonically uniform and their solo projects have yet to exceed more than two songs...
Thank you so much for all those suggestions, I'll be sure to make note of them and include them in future parts 💖 I have the exact same feeling with Blackpink (and I'm sorry it almost put you off kpop as a whole 😮 but I'm glad that it didn't and you're still enjoying listening!). But yeah, if you're only releasing one comeback a year, then as a listener I'm expecting it to be something completely new and interesting every time, something really exciting and worth the wait. Not a very similar song to the one I got a year ago that could have been re-produced in a few months! I wasn't a huge fan of the album either, not gonna lie (which was disappointing after such a long wait). But I'm hopeful that hopefully they'll begin to diversify their music more...I'll keep my fingers crossed ahah!
@@dearyoongi Never apologize to me for lengthy responses. I live for them! 😂🙌💕 And yeah, aside from Lovesick Girls and You Never Know, I don’t listen to any other songs from “The Album” because they sound so repetitive to me. Like, it’s time to have more people than just Teddy Park producing the songs at that label.
@@Nameless_mixes Teddy will leave them soon. The reason why they allowed Jisoo and Jennie to participate in LSG, and to let Rosé decide for the concept of her Solo, is because Teddy will leave them soon to handle the new girl group. If YG will let the members to decide on their own or to write and compose on their own, they'll probably have diverse discrography, since each of the members have their own individuality. I think it's a strategy to have "Teddy's formula" so that the girls will have a "signature style". It's like YG just let them release same structure in 4 years to make it more solid as their signature style, which is effective. But I feel like, they will now enter their new chapter, with more diverse choreography, since the girls are now being allowed to showcase their creativity.
I agree with the ateez one, but I also feel like a lot of atinys don't want them to change? After dejavu came out I saw so many comments saying that it's a bit different from their concepts and being a little weird about it. I do not agree with them and I would love to see ateez do more and grow as a group also one of the biggest problems I have with ateez is their mvs. Then again most 4th gen groups just made those glorified dance performance videos, but I have beef with them. Like just post the performance video?? And people might say that it's too expensive, but that really isn't the case with ateez. They get so many pretty sets, but just stand there while the camera films them in different angles. Also that white washed filter kills me inside ;; Anyway, I'm not saying this as a hater, ateez are literally my top group and I love them with my whole heart, but that is what I don't like about them
I’m gonna disagree with your opinion on Twice, I mean have you seen chaeyoung rap on sixteen? It was amazing! I also think that why people think twice have a bad rap line is because they get bad raps lol.
I understand the BTS one but I disagree. Every major artist will have their title track more pop based. Though you are just one click away from the album or soundcloud and those songs are not mainstream. They 100% show BTS's own colours an if you are too lazy to do that then that's on you. I think BTS'S weakness is their popularity. People pray for their downfall because they are so high, besides that the pressure (especially western) is really big on them in every aspect (music wise, being good people, explaining why they are so big).
Thank you for commenting! But I hope you realise a couple of things: 1) How rudely this comment is written. As stated in the video, these are just my opinions. And 2) I have been an ARMY for 7 years now, have watched every comeback and listened to every release repeatedly so I'm very aware of how much their sound has changed over time. How can you call somebody "lazy" based off one opinion in a RUclips video? Their recent English releases are a lot safer than some of their other music, whether you're willing to admit it or not. You've mentioned in your comment how much pressure they are under due to their huge popularity and Western expectations etc. There's a clear correlation there between this and the fact their recent releases have been aimed more towards a Western audience and have followed a much more pop-friendly format. I'm sorry you don't see this.
I respect your opinion but I dont think they’re playing it safe. They most likely knew that a song like Dynamite would get them lot of attention for its happy retro vibes and the fact that it’s all in English but apart from that song I don’t see it?? Their last comeback with Life Goes On wasn’t safe at all. It was a hip pop ballad with a calm instrumental, they weren’t trying to make another Dynamite. Or even earlier in 2020 they collaborated with a bunch of artists for the on comeback. Which resulted in showcases of performance art and a classical version of black swan(which was released with an mv of contemporary dancers. No bts member was in the video). These things are practically unheard of in the music industry.
Thank you for commenting! I definitely agree that Black Swan was unique and experimental, but apart from that I think our opinions differ! 🥰 I personally don't think songs like hip hop ballads are anything new or a huge risk, and Dynamite like you said was definitely created with the intention of hitting the concepts that will definitely succeed. (But thank you for sharing your point of view so respectfully, I always appreciate that💖)
I disagree with the Twice one. Chaeyoung is honestly one of the best rappers outa the female Kpop** idols not counting korean female rappers like Lee Young ji ect.. She has a unique flow and delivery, i.e. Good at love or Oxygen. Dahyun is pretty good too not realky weak in comparison to other idols and given the fact that her voice is so unique she makes up for it (like her feel special or like ooh ahh and well Likey rap parts) it makes her verses stand out in the song, If she wana spit bars she can just need a good opportunity to do it. The problem is Twice dont have songs really tailored to hiphop. U cant work with 4 bars per song. Twice need to release a pop/hiphop song for ppl to realise that. The rap always feels like an after thaught or like a bridge and not a main part of the song. Lastly i feel like the rap line with Momo would be so much stronger they just dont use her at all. Maybe if Twice was under a more hiphop focused lable we would see it more idk. Feels like Jype has Twice blocked off from making a Hiphop inspired track.
"I think it would actually be so interesting to see them change it up someday & have music with no raps in where their rappers can utilize their voices instead which are actually stronger" So i'm guessing you have never heard a Twice bside before :///
They need to change it up for their title tracks, the music that people who aren't onces will actually hear them promote. People usually aren't going to listen to bsides for groups they dont really follow, and it's up to JYP to utilise them to the best of their abilities in the title tracks to gain more interest so people decide to check out their albums and bsides.
For me the biggest weakness with blackpink is the choreo. I just wish that they had a more unique dance that would be harder so we can really see the girls’ dancing talent especially Lisa’s dancing talent. I feel like we only see Lisa dancing skills really pop off in her solo dance projects
I'm going to get some hate for this, but I think Blackpink's "weakness" is their fandom. There are a lot of non-toxic Blinks, but then again there are a lot of VERY toxic Blinks. That group of Blinks usually brings other competing groups down, which can cause the image of Blackpink to go down sometimes (Which absolutely sucks). But, again, there are very supportive and "nice" blinks, so _this_ might have been unnecessary.
@@siera127 but if you’re a stan of a musical artist then why arent you reading the lyric translations 🥴 if you don’t care about the art then just say that
Like I said, they usually only have 1 comeback a year, not every single year (last year was the first year they were fully fully active). And I didn't mention the concepts, I said the formula and format of their songs were the same (aka structurally). This has nothing to do with the concepts themselves.
blackpink really served in 2020 but they had 1 comeback which is lovesick girls. how you like that was a PRE RELEASE and it is considered a bside since the album's title track is lovesick girls. ice cream was a collab with selena gomez so they didnt have 3 comebacks just because they released all these 3 songs in different months. they really gave us a lot of content tho in 2020
@@ywshaq no because its a collaboration with lady gaga. plus lady gaga sings most of the song anyways since its more of her song and blackpink are more like featured artists

YG has a tried and tested format when it comes to releases and not just with BLACKPINK its with all their artists they believe QUALITY is better than QUANTITY, and I have to agree, I get fed up with artists releasing single after single, and they are usually crap, and I am going to upset someone now but take BTS they released BUTTER and it was a PHENOMENAL song and broke records for it, yet this new release Permission to dance not so good and I don't care what people say it is MY opinion and I do not like it. YG believes in their artists they pay their artists well unlike SM and you can ALWAYS tell who a YG artist is, for one they don't dress the same. They wear cool street clothes. BLACKPINK are not reportative at all, they are still experimenting and YG allows them to do that
Mine: Twice: Strengths: The japanese members. It makes their popularity in Japan blow up! And of course the Japanese comebacks! Weakness: A strong RAP LINE. Not a strong main rapper, not a strong lead rapper, but a strong RAP LINE. They only have 3 members, and theres only 1 that is actually top notch for their rap position. Blackpink: Strengths: Their songs. Their songs are so catchy, not saying its amazing, but catchy. And their songs has so much English lyrics. It makes them have more international fans! Weakness: Their vocal line. Rosé & Jisoo are really good vocalists! but they are definitely not the nicest. Jennie desserves her vocal position. But she really got some vocal things to work on. and their songs mainly focuses on the raps, catchiniess! Everglow: Strengths: The all rounder group they are. They have pretty great rap line, a decent dance line, and a pretty average vocal line! And Mia, whose a member of the group who sings well, dances well, and raps well! Weakness: The lack of good distribution. They often have unfair line distributions, and making others seem "invisible" or a backup dancer, and they really need to fix it!(esp. on onda and EU)
That's a really interesting point, I never noticed that their changing concepts also came with a change in style of their voices!

Its only when Bobby won show me the money and song Mino won 2nd place that some of them started being open minded.

i have to disagree with "inconsistency" being skz's weakness. i actually think their ability to release things that are so wildly different from both their own previous tracks and also from anything else in kpop is a strength. just because you dont like a song doesnt mean it needs to "stay in the drafts"; side effects is my favourite skz title track and is the song that actually made me stan them. their concepts are refreshing, the storyline behind their music videos is interesting, and i like not being able to predict what they're going to do next. the versatility in their discography and the artistic control they have over their concepts are part of what makes them so special.
I actually kinda agree with the twice rap line and I think the once that actually impressed me the most was Momo’s rap in ICSM

tbh I think black pinks weakness is them not having enough comebacks.
Not sad. Ankle injury.
She was being ‘lazy’ not because she was sad but because she broke her ankle.
@@dearyoongi or maybe fans actually like all their releases and BTS will do the kind of music THEY want to do, and not what the "gp" wants to hear

i do agree w the weak rap line in twice but not because they're weak. i think they are/have the ability to be strong rappers, but jyp doesnt really let them rap?? like i wish that they would have rap based songs; instead of just having a song that really doesnt need a rap but throwing one in there just to say theres a rap line
I think she's so unbelievably talented and everybody can see that, but I'm also really concerned what the long lasting effects will be on her if they continue to overwork her :(
Like you mentioned, none of this is her fault 💖
i feel 50/50 about the twice one, idk if it’s because i’m a once but i agree that twice’s raps can be like hits or miss.

I respectfully disagree with the opinion on Twice's rap line. Dahyun's rap in Feel Special and Chaeyoung's in Fancy were too iconic in my opinion. However, I do agree that Stray Kids' discography is very inconsistent. Would love a part two with more groups as well! (Itzy, TXT, (G)I-DLE, Loona, Pentagon, etc.) Love the video.

honestly those both raps were weak, u all hype those bc are the best ones they have but no, those were not even close to be good raps neither with the flow, the lyrics or voice
Iconic doesn't mean good... Dahyun's Feel special rap is barely even a rap, just talk singing.

@@deukae-mentary958 even though we'll probably never know for certain like why they have taken on this concept now, I was thinking the same reason🙈
I consider it as their major power
random but this Everglow stage mix made me realize how superior their styling is.
With how much hate they r getting, it's totally normal for them to NOT do smth too reckless, but YES i wish they would not be pushed back that much
I agree and understand what you said about twice but sometimes kinda I like their raps lol. 🤣😊😄💖
I love how you state facts and I actually think Chaeyoung and Dahyun can do better in YG like they have so much potential.
I deffo see what you mean! It would be interesting to see what Dahyun and Chae could do with stronger raps!💖
@@miminkotube completely agree with this, thank you for describing it so well!
so they are coming back after a year?thats dismal really this strategy of starving Blinks may back fire one day, when you look at how little discography the girls have-4 years for a full album and it only has 6 new songs(2 were pre releases)thats not good for an Idol group and some would call that a mini album.
as for the formula it is the same, sadly its the Teddy Formula and it gets kind of boring and repetitive.
I honestly agreed with the lit and soft theme about ateez before but then déjà vu happened hdfgk that personally shook tf out of me
I think i shed a tear when you stated that you hated double knot and side effects. i feel like those are some of there best songs it’s 2 my favorites. i respect your opinion but damnnnnn what’s wrong with those songsss. i do have to agree on them being a little all over the place but as i grew more into a stay you definitely have to understand the storyline and the lyrics of most songs. they have a style that’s there own that i haven’t really heard from other groups(i’m a multi stan😭) that’s really why they are my ult group. they keep me guessing of what are we gonna get a soft concept or dark. but they’re also that group that have songs for every emotion or day your having if you wanna think about it in a more positive way.

@@dearyoongi preach, also... butter is another safe song. It's a good song and i love it, don't get me wrong, but it's still safe
@@elyana_m2s I agree, even more so because it's not that much different from Dynamite!
I'm just going to comment on the ones I find interesting:
Ateez - I personally am not sure that is a strength.
Thank you so much for commenting, I love hearing peoples' opinions (so sorry for the essay reply ahah!🙈💖)
I deffo see your point about Ateez, but I guess it works both ways in the sense that if a group is popularly only in Korea, when fans there move on from them they wouldn't have any international fanbase to fall back on.
I really do love some of their stuff and would love to enjoy more of it, but that's unfortunately not the case :(
And yess, Mera!
3rd video in a row and I'm subscribing.
I'm currently on a marathon here. Watching all your past video's. This is good content.
Aw thank you so much, I really appreciate it!😁
But....but Chaeyoung was an absolute beast of a rapper back during Sixteen. I do agree that TWICE's raps are not my favorite but I still think Chaeyoung is an absolutely amazing rapper regardless.
Would you be open to doing one for MONSTA X for the next video. The other groups in interested on hear about people have mentioned already hehehe ☺️
Of course, I'll include them too!😁 thank you for the suggestion!
@@dearyoongi yay and ofc ofc ☺️thank you
I also know that ateez has two categories as powerful and chill ones but especially for the powerful side there’s a variety to the sounds they use.
Groups I’d like to see in Part 2:
CLC
SNSD
SHINee
AB6IX
Weeekly
Mamamoo
GOT7
TXT
APINK
Lightsum
Purplekiss
ONEUS
Red Velvet
GFriend
(G)I-DLE
4Minute
ITZY
IZ*ONE
IOI
WANNAONE
Fromis_9
Wei
CherryBullet
VIXX
Weki Meki
F(x)
Aespa
I know it’s a lot of groups, and that it will probably take multiple parts to do them all, but I’m curious about your opinion on these groups. You could also do a video on Soloists, too. Like,
AleXa
Boa
Sunmi
Taeyeon
Somi
Chungha
Kang Daniel
Kim Jaehwan
Kim Donghan
Taemin
Key
Other Idols in groups who are also solo…
(Hwasa, Solar, Jennie, Rose, Lisa, Eunbi, Jeon Soyeon, etc)
Also (sorry this comment is so looooong, lol), when I finally start making RUclips videos, not on this channel I’m commenting with, I will totally be doing my own version of this. Don’t worry, I’ll make sure I give you the credit for inspiration.
If you got all the way to here, HELLO! Thanks for reading, and remember to spread love, not hate. Yes, even to people you don’t like. Bye!
ATEEZ weakness: consistant/ predictable
STRAYKIDZ weakness: inconsistent/ unpredictable
OHK?!
Yus, the two can exist for different reasons!☺️
But what about ON & Black Swan and BE creator nim? I don't think these songs were safe especially some of the BE album songs like B&G and also Film Out!!!
I fully agree with the BTS opinion. I love all of their music but I feel like the songs they release these days feel slightly generic as they have to fit the pop style that appeals to the biggest audience. Like Dynamite and Butter are super catchy but I'm not really getting that like unique BTS feeling from them. I don't have a problem with the fact that their music is changing but I still miss the sort of raw meaning and intensity of their older songs.
its an english song , obviously we wont get the bts vibe from it coz they didnt write it! ,
I really enjoyed the vid. Do you think you could cover shinee (I’ve been a long time fan of theirs so I’m a bit biased for them)
Thank you so much, yes I'd love to! I'm a huge fan of them as well!😁💖
In my opinion, i think Blackpink’s strength is rap. All 4 are good at rap, and 2 are absolutely excellent. 2 of the best female rappers in the industry and Jennie in the overall industry as well.
Twice rap line… I think only weakness is having no1 speak english. Twice had good rapline like better then 80% of groups
you have to be joking
I don’t completely blame him because that’s not really their style, but my point is i don’t think they are weak rappers i just think they don’t get fast raps so they can’t show their full potential.
chaeyoung is a good rapper but twice songs don't make her justice

I would like to know your opinion on TXT
Ooh okie, thank you! I'll make sure to do a part 2 with them😁
For other groups I’d like to see in the future, they’d be: Exo, Red Velvet, Got7, Itzy, Aespa, iKon, Winner, 2pm, Day6, Treasure, Mamamoo, Dreamcatcher, (G)I-DLE, CLC, TXT, etc.
Thank you so much for all those suggestions, I'll be sure to make note of them and include them in future parts 💖
I have the exact same feeling with Blackpink (and I'm sorry it almost put you off kpop as a whole 😮 but I'm glad that it didn't and you're still enjoying listening!).
But I'm hopeful that hopefully they'll begin to diversify their music more...I'll keep my fingers crossed ahah!
also sorry for the super long responses ahah!🙈
@@dearyoongi Never apologize to me for lengthy responses. I live for them! 😂🙌💕
And yeah, aside from Lovesick Girls and You Never Know, I don’t listen to any other songs from “The Album” because they sound so repetitive to me.
I do not agree with them and I would love to see ateez do more and grow as a group
also one of the biggest problems I have with ateez is their mvs. Then again most 4th gen groups just made those glorified dance performance videos, but I have beef with them. Like just post the performance video?? And people might say that it's too expensive, but that really isn't the case with ateez. They get so many pretty sets, but just stand there while the camera films them in different angles. Also that white washed filter kills me inside ;;
Anyway, I'm not saying this as a hater, ateez are literally my top group and I love them with my whole heart, but that is what I don't like about them
thanks for adding everglow
You're welcome!🥰
But I hope you realise a couple of things:
1) How rudely this comment is written.
Feels like Jype has Twice blocked off from making a Hiphop inspired track.
some of you wouldve seen this coming.

"when they stay in the draft" but straykids are strays HAHAHA so
I'm going to get some hate for this, but I think Blackpink's "weakness" is their fandom.
There are a lot of non-toxic Blinks, but then again there are a lot of VERY toxic Blinks. That group of Blinks usually brings other competing groups down, which can cause the image of Blackpink to go down sometimes (Which absolutely sucks).
But, again, there are very supportive and "nice" blinks, so _this_ might have been unnecessary.
i think people who complain about bts’ new music saying it’s generic etc etc just don’t read the lyrics lmao
When people listen to songs, they aren't going to look up the lyrics everytime-
@@siera127 but if you’re a stan of a musical artist then why arent you reading the lyric translations 🥴 if you don’t care about the art then just say that
Blackpink has 3 comebacks in 2020 and they had a cute song in that album so idk what u talking about
Like I said, they usually only have 1 comeback a year, not every single year (last year was the first year they were fully fully active). And I didn't mention the concepts, I said the formula and format of their songs were the same (aka structurally). This has nothing to do with the concepts themselves.
blackpink really served in 2020 but they had 1 comeback which is lovesick girls. how you like that was a PRE RELEASE and it is considered a bside since the album's title track is lovesick girls. ice cream was a collab with selena gomez so they didnt have 3 comebacks just because they released all these 3 songs in different months. they really gave us a lot of content tho in 2020
@@Kost1vskl oh but isn’t sour candy a comeback then?
@@ywshaq no because its a collaboration with lady gaga. plus lady gaga sings most of the song anyways since its more of her song and blackpink are more like featured artists
@@Kost1vskl ok
So if for ATEEZ if lit = the songs you listed.
And summery bops = the songs you listed.
Where do songs like Inception, answer and treasure fall in?
Predictable? Yeah ok😂😂😂😂
I don't know how many times I have to say this but these are just my opinions. I couldn't list every single song and what I'd categorise it as because it's not that kind of video. But to answer your question, I'd still post songs such as Inception and Answer as lit, Treasure would be summery. Thank you for watching ☺️
@@dearyoongi yes its YOUR opinion so that's why I said "yeah ok"😂😂
I dont see the issue
@@lovenafeeza9342 the issue is the rudeness and the sarcasm, before I'd even had chance to answer your question, which I have done now. have a nice day.
@@dearyoongi
Rude? How was I rude?😂😂
But sure..ok. It's your opinion. You dont gotta like them or their music. I understand. I wont bother you further.✌
@@lovenafeeza9342 when did I ever say I don't like Ateez or their music? oh my gosh 😂😂😂 I literally just did a tier ranking of their music, as an atiny😂 you're clearly far too immature to discuss this soo I'll give you chance to see this comment before your entire thread and negative energy is completely blocked from my video.

New army here
Got to know BTS Through Dynamite..
Was into K-dramas so was kinda surprised to see Koreans singing in English, also it was a shocker for there song to play on a Ugandan TV station
FF,I googled BTS, couldn't tell them apart,as I watched more videos to cram their names I was unknowingly diving deep
About 2months in
Kinda makes me sad when people say they don't like Dynamite or their new style
Thanks to Dynamite some of us found out about BTS
I say they took over the world
S/N Thanks for sharing your opinion on all these artists without bashing or sounding offensive
Army keep fighting.
BTS fighting
Hii thank you so much for commenting (and welcome to the ARMY fandom!🥰) I agree, although I prefer some of their Korean music, it is thanks to their English releases that they have been able to gain some new fans and our ARMY has continued to grow which is great!💖
Fellow Ugandan here!💜

BLACKPINK are not reportative at all, they are still experimenting and YG allows them to do that
Mine:
Twice:
Strengths:
The japanese members. It makes their popularity in Japan blow up! And of course the Japanese comebacks!
Weakness:
A strong RAP LINE. Not a strong main rapper, not a strong lead rapper, but a strong RAP LINE. They only have 3 members, and theres only 1 that is actually top notch for their rap position.
Blackpink:
Strengths:
Their songs. Their songs are so catchy, not saying its amazing, but catchy. And their songs has so much English lyrics. It makes them have more international fans!
Weakness:
Their vocal line. Rosé & Jisoo are really good vocalists! but they are definitely not the nicest. Jennie desserves her vocal position. But she really got some vocal things to work on. and their songs mainly focuses on the raps, catchiniess!
Everglow:
Strengths:
The all rounder group they are. They have pretty great rap line, a decent dance line, and a pretty average vocal line! And Mia, whose a member of the group who sings well, dances well, and raps well!
Weakness:
The lack of good distribution. They often have unfair line distributions, and making others seem "invisible" or a backup dancer, and they really need to fix it!(esp. on onda and EU)
These are so thorough and well written, thank you!
