I am currently halfway through the “Ryan’s World” novel so this could not have come at a better time. I would love to invest into creating a crimson fists army (or any army for that matter) but it just costs so much. So I live vicariously through y’all when you play.
Combat patrols on amazon are affordable ( for warhammer) some good deals are the craftworld eldar,drukari, dark angles, blood angels, thousand sons, although thousands sons cp is alot of zangors it fill out that part of you're list early. I managed to build 2k eldar for 740$ over 6 months.

It REALLY helps them get their worth before they die, you can spring out onto the field, zap something, die and then zap another thing pretty consistently.
Can even do it in combat for now, if you take the free plasma pistols :)
I'm pretty new so i was sitting here wondering if maybe that wasn't a thing when this match happened lol. With how close this was it could've made the difference, maybe they could've killed the beast boss and the librarian would've survived to help in the midfield. One more dead squig boy could've meant the redemptor lived to fight back.

Steve… that was an awesome game.
Such a wild gambit to declare Waaaagh in Turn 1. It helped knowing Steve's secondary draws, but still, letting your opponent dictate how the turn would go was killer. I assume from Steve's perspective it made sense to try to hang back and, if the Orks really wanted to fight, force them to come within shooting range; unfortunately, not committing more forces within potential advance/charge range for the Orks also meant he was basically giving up on scoring Purge points in the 1st round.
It also didn't help that he had no idea what James would draw for secondaries. That 14 point margin for error was just insurmountable. Such great play from both of you! Quality content from beginning to end.

26:30, i have a captain in graves armour in my army, he is my favourite guy as in this edition he has gone toe to toe with a WRAITHLORD and died to its EXPLOSION (best moment ever), and in 10 games he has died 4 times
