My favorite question to ask is always, 'What do you like to do?' I like to get people talking about themselves and NOT about their work because I want to get to know the person.
I love to ask "Who do you want to meet?" They call me the Connector because I know many people in both the Chicago and southwest Florida marketplaces. If I don't know that person, I ask would you like to meet them? If they say yes, I make the call and either invite them to a meeting letting them know that someone wants to meet them, or I might text or email them so I can help create the introduction. Sometimes I go to LInkedIn, and see who they know that I might know so that starts the conversation and connection.
My favorite questions are: How did it all start, how did you end up doing what you are doing. How would you pitch your business against the competition, what makes you so unique.
How are you navigating the distinction between your Ivan Misner business and the BNI business that you founded? On a smaller scale, I'm trying to thread a similar needle. I have one business that is inherently me as a producer, and another business that is more about the service/value. I notice that this video in particular doesn't make many (or any) references to BNI in the title, headline, description, script, etc. Thanks for your guidance.
Hi Mr. Ivan my fav questions are - 1. What's one thing you're really passionate about that you could talk about for hours? 2. If you could possess any skill or talent instantly, what would it be and why? THis helps me to understand the complete personality of the other person.
Later in the conversation, I ask "what product or service are you in need of and don't know who to call?" This helps me solve their problem and find referrals for my BNI Chapter.
A question I never forgot was Who is John? Or Who is the person your talking with... way different than the common What do you do? You can learn alot about a person from this question...
I ask, "What is your dream?" Not your goal or what you want, but your dream to become... ? Then ask, what can I do to help you get to that dream? Ivan, would there be any chance, whenever you come through Sacramento, CA, to come be our guest at our chapter meeting. We would love for you come. Elk Grove, CA Rockstars. God bless Chris Lombardo
My favourite question to ask is, How did you end up doing what you are doing in your career and did you think you would have ended up doing something different?
I would Ask: Please tell me about your journey of your business, how did get in the business? The challenges you faced to build it and what are the solutions you found?

My favourite question is: what motivates you to continue doing what you are doing right now
What clients you are looking for?
"Who is your ideal client?" "Who are you looking to meet?" "How can I help you meet your goals?"
After I finish telling them all about me. I love to say, well enough about me. And then ask them, what do you think about me?
That made me lol
