Hollywood Rose's and L.A. Guns!!! It seems so simple... Steven Adler is the glue that kept G&R grounded. I got to play with Steven in a sealed Boston Courtroom in Octoberof 2016. He was amazing and blew every musician in the room away ... Steven Van Zant. Jackson Browne, Billy Joel, Peter Wolf and many many others including Rudy Sarzo , Carlos Carvarzo and Steve Stevens ..and wow... so many others as well... there even was a Ramone in the room...

Maybe if Axl see this performance today it makes him refletion about his mistakes that he could fix it to preserve a better voice than the one he has today 🤔 but still any mistakes, up to date he is one of the best rock singers.

It draw my attention the fact that they are playing all standard tunning (not E flat as GnR always has) and never had listened that 'sound' specially from that era. They were awesome.

Prime GnR, seeing Izzy on acoustic is so cool. Man Axles voice is just amazing here.

This is by far my favourite GNR live performance ever. Its the only time I heard Axl actually sound like the studio recordings.
No matter what the era in other live performances Axls timing on the vocals are off, his voice sounds tired and he cuts words short. The tiredness in understandable after doing nearly 3 years on the road in their peak.

This was probably one of the few times he was not drunk, high or pissed off at something. And he did not waste his breath runnibg around and jumping. Here, he was 100% focused on singing and enjoying himself. Had he stayed that way, he would have been the greatest vocalist this world has ever seen.

Izzy made this what it was. The lightning in the bottle. He decided it was so good, he drank it.

I have no idea why a video posted 14 years ago just popped up in my feed, but I'm glad it did! But I'm also kind of embarrassed. I saw this the night it aired as a teenager, and spent the past 37 years mis-remembering the host as being Arsenio Hall! What was this hosts name???

Holy sh!t what a performance! Axl with pristine vocals and Slash at his absolute best! I was 12 when they arrived on the scene to breather new life into guitar rock and that they did! They skyrocketed to LED Zepplin status instantly. What an awesome, amazing performance. I’m downloading this one!
