Thank you for this video. My Ubuntu view windows on my macbook is tiny. I can drag the window bigger but the view stays the same, small view. and I can only see to halfway down the Continue button and cannot scroll farther down. Any thoughts how to get this looking like your window?
Hello! Really nice and instructive video. Thank you so much! However, I encountered a problem. I wanted to preserve my Mac OS installation on the internal SSD and created an external USB 3-connected cloned SSD boot drive with my Mac OS (10.14 Mojave) on it. I booted from this, installed Virtual Box, managed to point it to the ISO file (your video 15:28) and then started the green arrow (at 15:39). But then I got a black terminal window with following error message: "FATAL: No bootable medium found! System halted." I tried the VB installation with and without the Extension pack. Do you have any idea how to overcome this? Could this be an error due to the booting from the external drive? Does VB perhaps not recognise the USB connection of the boot drive?
Ok. Partial success. I went back, installed a new virtual machine in VB, and this time, at the point of setting it up, enabled USB 3 support. In the previous installation, this option was greyed out after the initial installation, and it was no longer possible to enable USB 3 support in the "ports" setting. Now, Ubuntu installs.
when I tried to add the guest addition it said it couldn't be found! But thanks for an informative and helpful video..the rest of the installation went well.

After installing Ubuntu 20.04.2.0 LTS on a Macbook Pro running MacOS Big Sur 11.3.1, I cannot make the Ubuntu terminal running especially the `apt` and `apt-get` commands to install new packages (Failed to fetch prompt). Surprisingly I can ping to an an IP address just fine. Any ideas? I have tried to unsuccessfully change the mirrors.
