Things I have realized while watching many transformed: 1. Many boyfriends dislike it when a "Barbie-Girl" turns into a Goth, and this dude was the worst. 2. The Barbie's often like the transformed goth look. 3. Goth's almost never like to be transformed to anything different.
Even i felt bad as a man when i projected myself into the transformed girl and received no affirmation/support from the boyfriend. And as the boyfriend, if i did not like it i wouldn't be able to say anything 😞 except the truth - what could you say? White lies? be untruthful? Or supportive ego validation🚩? But then YOU turning it around by blaming the boyfriend for not being supportive is 🚩because its your fragile ego talking. Your hurt ego is shaming the boyfriend, by saying he is not being supportive, to protect you from feeling bad.
EXACTLY lots of the girls that dress more preppy or girly usually want to try to or dress different but they have stuck with the same look for so long they don’t wanna go through all that change so the girls in this show enjoy the day they get to dress different then it’s back to the same girly look but i’m sure some people from this show have actually started trying different styles after taking this first step
Goth is a self-esteem thing. They have low self-esteem so they dress like that to hide there true self from the public AND themselves. That's why they don't like "non-goth" make-overs. They don't have the self-esteem to believe that they can be pretty, and when they see themselves as pretty, they are terrified of it and it's truth that it brings.
I think its fun they both " traded places" and tried something different❤ but everyonrme has to follow who they are and be themselves. Boyfriend ?buh bye!!! You are too drama. Geesh
The sister’s expression and body language when she said: “hello sister, are you ready to join the dark side? Come along” was very expressive! She is totally rock her style and comfortable & confident in it.
This episode hurt and was something I always feared with this show. It felt like she was kinda into the look but no one was really supportive of her. Her sister was the best, but doesn’t seem like she wants to share the goth spotlight Her dad ‘doesn’t want two goth daughters’ And her boyfriend seems unsupportive and like he would break up with her if she chose an aesthetic he didn’t like
Well, my first thought with the dad’s comment was how that probably made the goth girl feel. I get him having his opinion, but he can’t love his children conditionally like that.
You see what you want to see. Her father seems pretty supportive, not in words, but in acts. Her boyfriend is honest and states it like it is, despite that you can see in his eyes that he is warming up to it rather quickly. Her sister is very supportive, but there always will be that sister/sister attention war, which is normal in most families. You're also not taking into account that the father needs to support both his girls, not just the one transforming. This is why he went and hugged both of them, to reaffirm that they are his little girls no matter what. Not everything in this world needs to be spelled out and not everyone needs to agree on the same thing. This is far better reaction than the "fake" alt friends who most of the time try to gaslight the girl so they are not left behind in their hobby.
It always really saddens me when people are so unsupportive of alternative styles. I really don't understand it. What is wrong with two goths? How can you say that you'd love her no matter how she looks and then say it's not for you when both the sisters just seemed so happy to match for a moment there. Even if the reactions are somewhat staged, it gives me the ick.
Didn't appear like she changed her mind at all, and they were both laughing about it. Comments here make it out way worse than it actually was. He wasn't that bad at all, especially compared to some of the other transformations.
Wow she's worried about wearing trying a different style because her bf doesn't let her try different styles. I could not live like that. I love changing my style so to me that bf is miserable
Thanks for choosing the title "Barbie to Goth" rather than the usual "Normal to Goth". As someone who gets bullied and made fun of all their life for being goth it helps destigmatizing us a little bit more ❤
Emily's look, was definitely a whole look and identification, not dissimilar in many ways to Bebhinn's. I love that the sisters seem to relate so well to each other rather than conflict, they are like the Sun and the Moon.
I am amazed how good it looked on her, I would have actually liked to have seen it with her natural hair too as there are plenty of blonde goths around and I think she may have felt more comfortable but it was great to go with the wig as she looked so much like her sister. I love how supportive they are of each others styles.

I think if they omitted the wig maybe it would feel more like her in the style rather than just a copy of her sister. It's fine if that's what they were going for but maybe that would've made her enjoy it more. Not every goth had black hair or black lipstick. I agree she rocks that new look. But she was already very beautiful before. Drop dead gorgeous actually. She is very naturally beautiful. Although maybe you didn't mean it like "she finally became very beautiful".
I love the Goth look, and am an old school Goth myself. However, it’s not JUST a look, it’s about Goth music, enjoying the darker things most people think are “weird”, and having a certain personality. This girl looked pretty dressed this way, but her personality is definitely more in keeping with her original look. She is beautiful in both, I just think the blonde and pink express her personality better. That’s why there are so many different styles! If we ALL wore the SAME clothes/makeup, what a boring world it would be!
They both looked fabulous in each other's styles as well as their own. It was really fun seeing them recognize how naturally alike they are as sisters, and they have such obvious love and support for one another.

I think they both really suit the goth style...I felt bad for her with the reactions, but maybe she'll pull this look out every now and again 🤷🏼♀️ also, the sisters did look a lot more like siblings when both in the goth style! 😊
She was absolutely rocking that look! I love that she was brave and stepped out of her comfort zone. She should definitely wear what she wants and what makes her comfortable. 🖤🩶🤍
I have 2 daughters. They’re five years apart. They complete opposites just like these sisters. The oldest is very goth/animeish with black hair, extreme hair cut. Sometimes she adds crazy color to her hair. Where my youngest daughter is very girly, girl, blonde hair, Super fem. It’s cool to see other sisters that are so opposite.
This was one of the best episodes I've seen. They actually gave her a good wig, make up and clothing to wear. Usually, the outfits given and wig are opposite. Also, I didn't think I would be as impressed with the results, but she looked better than I imagined. I like her new goth look almost better than her everyday look. It suits her well!
This one made me so happy because the sister went back to being kids and twinzies. The boyfriend ruined it. She would of loved to play along for longer but the judgemental face of “YOU BETTER TURN BACK INTO THE WORLD IDEA OF PRETTY OR ELSE”
Beautiful, both ways! I wonder if a pastel goth look would suit her preference a little better, as in something she would actually be comfortable expressing more often?

Your feminine look is not boring at all. It is extraordinarily charming, just like you 💐🩷👨👧👦✨ Also you totally rock the goth look 😍You are too good for your boyfriend! You have much more to offer.
I love how different the sisters are yet so close and supportive. The boyfriend and the dad's reaction were both awful. The Dad saying "I don't need two goths in his life" right in front of his other daughter made me feel bad for her.
i read the comments before finishing the video and I really thought that the dad and bf would have a dramatic reaction from all the fuss.. Their reaction was normal though.. the dad hugged them both and joked about it without being mean. the bf just said that he preferred her original look and this is normal as well, he didn't say anything bad... Its her style, and of course, people will and SHOULD support her for what she is.. they were all next to her to see the transformation since she wanted to try it. And I love her sister because she said she looked pretty with the goth styling, but she supported her choice in style and said that she should embrace it. She is girly and that's perfect just like her sister who is awesome too! and all this is coming from a girl who hates pink and girly outfits...
With blond hair she looked 18 years old. With black hair she's 26 ❤ She looks super good! And boyfriend is killing the vibes. Majorly killing the vibes.
Dang, Emily looks cute and adorable in both styles. Guess her sister was a tiny bit jealous. Play with your edgy goth look once in a while and otherwise stay your true gorgeous Barbie girl, Emily.
At least dad and Oli were as awkward on camera as I was :D. You guys looks good both ways, if a style makes you feel happy and confident, that's the one to wear :)
Well, the great thing is that both sisters already have so many things in common. They like fashion, hair dos, nail art and makeup. They can even try to blend in both of their looks if they want. Goth girl can put on a hot pink eye shadow and Barbie girl can put on a smokey eye shadow with a cat's eye look to it. It's fun, why not? That's what it's all about. Just trying something new and different. And it's great cuz the sisters are spending quality time together. That's nice to see instead of them being so distant from each other and not wanting to do things together or even speak to one another.
Despite the transformation, her body language, her posture is not goth, it's still 'Barbie'. Her true goth sister has this dark vibe about her that's not just clothes. She carries herself like a true dark lady.
Emily and her sister are both BEAUTIFUL in their own way and look!!! I'm an old pink-lady but also love other styles and looks!! I'm a fan of gothic although I'm not one myself! I wish everyone would let people be and wear what they want instead of judge people who are different!!! I love all people who are good at heart!!! So, lots of love to all of those people who are 'different' from an old (rebel), Pinkie
Ooof! Insecure and/or controlling and/or shallow boyfriend! These girls are ultra gorgeous, and look amazing no matter what they wear, and the boyfriend is too threatened to say so. I feel like this family puts unhealthy expectations on women's appearances and perfection. My family was like this too - and all my sisters and myself had eating disorders for decades, and I was practically disowned for dressing goth in the 90's.
It actually suits her!!! She looks just like Sarah Michelle Gellar with that wig on! And I feel like her sister felt flattered and happy that they look alike! Emily looks amazing! She should experiment on her style - she's young and fun and should explore different styles and rock them!
Barbie look is super adorable. Goth look is so cool. Depending on the event and situation, I could rock both outfits, but my attitude will always reflect the Barbie girl.
"I don't need 2 Goths in the house." is really mean to say. The dad should reflect on accepting their daughters as they are. Not gonna lie, the dad is definitely the odd one out between his daughters ;) And the boyfriend is TRASH. "It's not a good look, not for me", guess what women aren't dressing to please men. He cant even stand a few hours of fun. Grow up dude. 🚮
Wow! Ngl, that style suited her better than it does her sister 😅 Her face is perfect for this makeup and hairstyle. Looked better in Goth than she did as Barbie IMO ❤
It works on her FR. But if she wants to stay more fem IMO brunette with maybe highlights and natural makeup would give genuine glow. BF can get bent seems the type to be mad about her having the thought of even changing just her hair
Her being assumed to be a mean girl?! Baha she doesnt seem to have a single mean bone in her body. Im sad she grew up with lacking self confidence. Shes so pretty and seems so lovely
Man, she delightfully gives a modern Elvira look and i love it. I 100% encourage her to experiment with it for funsies if she ever wants to, and hell, she may find herself somewhere else on the spectrum between current style and her sister's! But i do agree with the other sentiments expressed about the bf...i get bad vibes from him. Girl, you can do better and find someone more supportive in trying new things out outside your comfort zone whenever you fancy.

I think she could keep a black hair and her pink style. That would be a little bit of both. That black hair really suits her.
With blond hair she looked 18 years old. With black hair she's 26 ❤ She looks super good! And boyfriend is killing the vibes. Majorly killing the vibes.
Bebhinn's reaction is so cute!! "You look so prettyyyyyyyyy~
5:14 she looks beautiful love the goth look a lot stunning young lady 😊
now she looks better with the new style ^^
Dang, Emily looks cute and adorable in both styles. Guess her sister was a tiny bit jealous.
Play with your edgy goth look once in a while and otherwise stay your true gorgeous Barbie girl, Emily.
They both pulled off each other’s look, I love how supportive they are!
At least dad and Oli were as awkward on camera as I was :D. You guys looks good both ways, if a style makes you feel happy and confident, that's the one to wear :)
She really rocked the look, too bad they made her feel bad about it.
She really looked great.
AY- Danggg!!!!! The Transform word was MEANT for this channel, Loved it!
She’s beautiful and her Belfast accent is so nice to hear 💖
I absolutely love that while they both have very different styles and personalities, they still get along, and are each other’s best friends
“Do you feel mild discomfort all over, then that’s both” she’s not wrong I love these girls
She’s ABSOLUTELY gorgeous, wow!
They are both so stunning
woaaa the make up looks really good 😍 it kinda inspire me to try being goth one day lmao 😂
She looks beautiful in the gothic transform❤❤🎉
Generally speaking I prefer the pink Barbie looks over goth aesthetic, but she looked good in both!
She looks so pretty as goth or not. She has a great, honest energy about her. Good on her!
“I think she’ll look good no matter what” proceeds to say “it’s absolutely terrible.” Mhm…
She looks beautiful! Absolutely suits her, her boyfriend is really the only one I can see holding her back :/
The dad and boyfriend weren't supportive, but it hurt when the dad said he didn't want two goth daughters when Bebhinn was sitting next to him.
It actually suits her!!! She looks just like Sarah Michelle Gellar with that wig on! And I feel like her sister felt flattered and happy that they look alike! Emily looks amazing! She should experiment on her style - she's young and fun and should explore different styles and rock them!
not her boyfriend having the audacity to say that in front of her family
The boyfriend only likes the idea of her and not her as a person. It sucks honestly. Hope she doesn't have a baby for this guy and gets stuck forever.
What a strange thing to say after watching an 8 minute video
How about u stop camping in everyones comments huh? U keep jumping to his defense in everyones replys, maybe ur the boyfriend💀💀
@@mōri_-3v3maybe 😂
Barbie look is super adorable. Goth look is so cool. Depending on the event and situation, I could rock both outfits, but my attitude will always reflect the Barbie girl.
She's so beautiful both ways. Edit: the two sisters look so awesome together
I would have gave her a more wearable red lip lol didn’t have to copy it exactly 😂❤
She had really loved her result, but after the boyfriend said he didn't like it, she stopped liking it. Babeee🚩🚩🚩
"I don't need 2 Goths in the house." is really mean to say. The dad should reflect on accepting their daughters as they are.
Not gonna lie, the dad is definitely the odd one out between his daughters ;)
And the boyfriend is TRASH.
"It's not a good look, not for me", guess what women aren't dressing to please men. He cant even stand a few hours of fun. Grow up dude. 🚮
I think black suits her way better 😮 Gorgeous like her sister 🖤
Wow! Ngl, that style suited her better than it does her sister 😅 Her face is perfect for this makeup and hairstyle. Looked better in Goth than she did as Barbie IMO ❤
These sisters have such a sweet relationship
I love how supportive the sister is❤
They look so beautiful together. Her skull bag and necklace is sobeautiful! I want it! 🖤🖤🖤🖤 Wow
Omg she looks like a real life mavis I love the look
Her goth look gives her much more personality and character.
Her style gives plenty of character and personality too. If not more because she chose it.
Her personality is so, so sweet, I can really relate to her story
SHE LOOKED SO GOOD IN GOTH!!! And the sister seemed quite jealous actually
It works on her FR. But if she wants to stay more fem IMO brunette with maybe highlights and natural makeup would give genuine glow. BF can get bent seems the type to be mad about her having the thought of even changing just her hair
The dad's reaction was excessive. And the boyfriend just looked like he didn't want to be there. I feel bad for the sisters.
She looks good both ways 😊
Her being assumed to be a mean girl?! Baha she doesnt seem to have a single mean bone in her body. Im sad she grew up with lacking self confidence. Shes so pretty and seems so lovely
Ditch the boyfriend and dress however YOU want to.
She looks TOOO GOOOOD IN BOYH STYLES
she look great with both Style
She looks so good.... like genuinely... wow
