Honestly the first thing Jack has said in months that reduced me to tears of laughter and I feel like it was greatly unappreciated 😂
The number underneath the ball tells you how much power you will lose when you make your shot. Say the number is at 95% like it was at the start - if you hit a shot with full power, it will only go about 95% as far as that shot would have gone, so you would lose a few yards. This mostly happens with bad lies, inclement weather, and when you hit from places like the rough, sand trap, bare ground, etc.

That's how these games usually work, but I swear it didn't make a difference - they just did the power up to the flag icon and it went to the flag. Rain seemed to be the only thing that inhibited power, but even that barely did.

The Skanking Pigeon; Yeah, because the flag icon shows precisely where you need to be hitting it to reach the flag. I mean it really is that simple a mechanic. Really early on they were screwing up because Jack was saying you need to hit it around the (whatever) percent mark it said in the bottom right but they soon realised that was bollocks.
jack at the beginning had me laughing so hard, I already had to pause the game to laugh 12 seconds in😂

The % on the right indicates how the terrain will effect your shot. Basically a full powered shot will be reduced to that percentage. A club with a 100 yard range will be reduced to 90 yards for example.

With all this controversy going around with Geoff and Griffon, I haven't seen a single comment about the fact that James Buckley is now a part of the Rooster Teeth gaming network! This means he will most likely be in more videos and maybe podcasts! I thought I'd bring this up in all the sadness around the community to brighten it up a bit.
NoahJ is also apart of the network but we never see him in vids anymore, I wouldn't get too excited
Thanks for that. That's cool. I don't even know why there's controversy. Yes, they were like "relationship goals" to many, but shit happens and couples get divorced. If Brad and Angela can get divorced, so can Griffon and Geoff. People also love to gossip about the "custody battle" over Millie, but that seems to be just gossip in the end (as well as none of our business).

Not that it matters three weeks later, but:
The % in the bottom-right is how much of the ball is visible above the grass. So 93-95% means you can see 93-95% of the ball. Presumably, this affects how much of the power you're putting into your swing will actually be delivered to the ball - if it's only 60% visible, you'll have to hit it harder than if it's 90% visible.
That weird 2nd, 3rd, 4th that you couldn't figure out is which stroke you holed out on. 2nd means you were in the hole after your second shot, and so on.
And that's that.
If you find the video "unwatchable", then close your eyes and listen to the beauty that this video is.
Not gonna lie, I'm kinda disappointed that they didn't create the most bizarre looking characters that they could imagine.

I like after having played so many golf games they know so little about golf games.
It seems like the percentage at the bottom right is the percentage of your power bar that is being used to hit your ball forward, and is reduced by weather and what terrain you're in. Just a guess though since I've never played.
