I loved the original. There was nothing like it when it came out. I remember riding a horse between cities and stopping off along the way assassinating soldiers thinking, wow. The newer ones are ok but it really breaks immersion when you're wielding a glowing blue sword or sailing a ship floating on smoke. You were right when you said they have become 2 genres in one. Maybe I'll give it a go now it's cheaper! Great video, really well put together
assassin's Creed 1 to assassin's Creed rogue and then after a long time I played another assassin's Creed game .. mirage . I don't know why people are hate this game. Anyway love this video
"Combat wasn't good".... Come on... I love when you answered this review by saying...."I wanna play as an assassin, not a warrior." Exactly how I feel about odyssey and Valhalla...
@@terepkIt was never abou it, just go and play AC 1 again, none of the main targets assassinations end stealthly, and there are plenty of other examples in the series.
Creating new mechanics to imitate old ones while remaining tied to modern game design isn't a return to roots. It's an overhyped marketing ploy that reminds me why marketing departments shouldn't be involved in game design decisions. I kept looking for cell phones - it was the only excuse for a city-wide alert concerning the least intrusive of 'crimes' you may have committed requiring you to stop and engage in poster hunts - Gah! Cutting of one's arms to make climbing harder isn't how one 'returns to roots' (geez that saying hasn't aged well at all).
I playe this game because of the environment of the city alone ❤️ what a Beautiful city of Baghdad
i didn't expect such a high quality video to be honest. Well done!
Thank you :)
...
Just that intro alone is insanely good, havent even seen the video yet and I'm already hooked
Intro is my favourite part🔥

Thanks bro! Yh give Mirage a go it’s decent
Back to the roots. I miss this style of gaming and not feeling overpowered
Yh me too! I enjoyed the more stealth approach and not fighting 10 enemies in combat

Thanks man🙌

In Assassin's Creed Shadows I'm going to play as the Assassin Character instead of the Samurai that's for sure
Same here. It called "assassin's creed" not "warrior's creed" I'm supposed to hide in plain sight

Origins & Odessy are the best the RPG is what made it soo good, and the detailed world, Valhalla was trash and this is not much better
You just spoiled who is the head of the order showing the screen with alle the target killed
This isn’t a spoiler free review

The combat sucked. I forced myself to avoid it as much as possible because it was so clunky and boring. I had more fun with the tools
Yh the combat is more challenging! Smoke bomb and throwing knife were fun to use
For me it didnt, if you're playing in the hard difficulty that is.
This game is totally unplayable.
I uploaded an in depth video showcasing just how bad this game actually is for playability.
I enjoyed Mirage! But I’ll check out the video
@@jamieson720 The video is here on my channel and it's titled, AC Mirage is unplayable
