I really love the flavor of the Zealot token having charge! In Starcraft 2 there's an upgrade Protoss players can purchase for their Zealot units literally called "Charge" which gives the melee units an ability letting them rush forward at enemies to close the gap faster. Zealots are commonly referred to as "Chargelots" when that upgrade is in play.
Chrono Boost is gonna be pretty obnoxiously swingy in the early game for Rogue and Druid. Coin + Prep + Chrono Boost turn 1 for Rogue and Coin/Innervate + Construct Pylons + Chrono Boost for Druid, a turn 1 3/4 with Charge is just such a pain in the ass to kill in the early game it's unreal.
If you coin prep in wild you can play the spell that draw a deathrattle minion and trigger it's deathrattle with that you can cheat a 3/4 starship piece that would cost 0 ana have 4/4 statline for 0 mana. It is unplayable.
Dont worry - warpgate in SC2 has been an incredibly powerful faction defining ability in Starcraft for decades - the location matches its absurdity cross games/genres.
I'm not exactly sure on what's the flavour for void ray being a low cost low hp minion with rush, seems very opposite of starcraft. The warp gate, however, now that's on point for protoss
I don't think protos and druid really share a whole lot in identity. Could of put druid with zerg going with the whole spreading plague kind of vibe. Either way starcraft themed cards aren't going to match with warcraft classes all that well, especially when they are mixed between 4 classes. I mean protos is about mana cheat, sounds like druid and rogue to me
As someone who plays a lot of wild druid, Chrono Boost singlehandedly makes a lot of these other cards much more viable. You could even just have Construct Pylons and one other card, if there end up being any reasons to run setup like that.
I agree as a wild player even with a wide variety of decks. I don't really see anything so far to use. ( I play fun decks, up to platina/diamond rank )
Giving 0 cost cards extra buffs shows to me that Blizzard still doesnt take manacheat seriously. New librams are awful and I'm honestly amazed that they haven't been nerfed into the ground alongside Lynessa
The fact that Libram Paladin is a tier 2 deck with a 52.8% winrate and less than a 1% playrate probably explains a lot about why they haven't been nerfed into the ground (they're actually in a quite healthy spot overall)
Nearly the entirety of Great Dark Beyond is composed entirely out of parasitic cards. Starships? Parasitic. Crewmates? Parasitic. Librams? Parasitic. Warlock's jank demon generation package? Parasitic. Meteors? Parasitic. Starcraft factions? Parasitic.
What's wrong with manacheat? It is a strategy in all card games where is mana. Like all. This is a healthy mechanic, if you think that it is not, you should just stop playing card games, go play some farm simulator or roblox, idk what to say. Even slay the spire have manacheat. I just can't recommend you any card game without manacheat.
It feels like priest is always cursed to share cards with druid, who operate on a mana system that's not avaliable to other classes.
You don’t have 10 mana by turn 5? Skill issue honestly :)
Need the Kabal back

Mana cheat as a faction ability. This is totally not going to be gamrbreaking whatsoever
you say protoss right
source: starcraft youtube channel
Unfortunately as usual Team 5 has no clue how to design cards without mana cheat, even though it breaks the game, EVERYTIME. Ridiculous

Chrono Boost is a Rogue card. Druid can’t play it.
@@Begeru No it's not. The border is grey, it's a neutral card all 4 protoss classes share.
@ ohh my bad. That’s cool.
If you coin prep in wild you can play the spell that draw a deathrattle minion and trigger it's deathrattle with that you can cheat a 3/4 starship piece that would cost 0 ana have 4/4 statline for 0 mana. It is unplayable.
@ Yeah but that’s Wild, you can also play a 1/2 pirate and end up with 10/7 in stats turn 1.
Void Ray costing three mana? It's a high tier ship for late game toss why does it cost just three mana hahahahah
Interesting mechanic though, I love every card so far
I mean.... have you seen the terran flying units? 1 mana 2/1 starship components.
It's not late late skytoss at all, you can even build em without the shiny fleet beacon
not sure about late game, but I think that something like 5 mana would suit void ray more
I mean you can get a void day pretty early if you rush the tech tree although the text fits the phoenix a lot more tho
0 mana cards should not exist
0 mana cantrips are fine.
0 mana 5/3 Devine shield with rush not so much.
They can exist, it should be narrowly tailored rather than everything.

Druid having access to Divine Shield now? What is class identity?

I mean protos is about mana cheat, sounds like druid and rogue to me
I mean... Same can be said about Rogue and Mage having Divine Shield too.
Feels like it's just here to justify Priest being part of the faction.
Every time I check in on youtube there's new cards, love it!
Cards being above 10 mana is such a cool concept
Protoss Faction: _If it spends mana, it isn't a Protoss_
I like how they're adding so many locations in because they didn't add any to the base expansion
Kudos on the Chrono Trigger reference.
Zeddy pronouncing zealot like Artosis.
As someone who plays a lot of wild druid, Chrono Boost singlehandedly makes a lot of these other cards much more viable. You could even just have Construct Pylons and one other card, if there end up being any reasons to run setup like that.
Do you play that combo with Barns that summon a 5/5 that makes all spells cost 1? I hate you so much, you ruined so many of my games turn 3-4.
Is the zealot a collectible?
No rarity gem means that it isn't collectible.
To balance the Protoss mana cheat they should always have 2 mana a Pylon on board. =)
And I see that the new set will not bring me back to the game. Oh well.
Watch out for the Zealot Priest OTK!
They gonna nerf it day 3 of miniset cause priest isn't allowed to have fun.
I think mech Paladin had a buff in wild but it might not be his class though oh......
I agree as a wild player even with a wide variety of decks. I don't really see anything so far to use. ( I play fun decks, up to platina/diamond rank )
Why even make cards over 6 mana that cant be cheated at this point.
Thank god someone corrected him. I was about to blow a vessel
Seems like Druid gets the most interesting cards for me. Big boys with big stats. Give me more!
this expansion looks fun
I can't believe that Zeddy is complaining about mana cheating. Amazing! ;-)
Finally a 4 mana 10/16! ... at least this one isn't summonable with Oaken Summons. :P
Did they just skip Warrior class cards as part of the Terran faction?
Apparently. Looking at their reveal schedule, Warrior isn't on there at all.
Maybe it'll be revealed at the end alongside Grunty?
They changed schedule. Warrior would be at the end.
Hat said something about logistic issues, if I had to guess, whatever article/video that was going to reveal them wasn't ready or needed changes.
Cant wait for the miniset
Does the Starcraft miniset cards count as a different expansion than Great Dark Beyond for Dungar purposes?
Yes, different card watermark.
They should make immortal text: if this cost 4, double its stats 😂
Oh no, a charge minion. Why did they have to give it charge? Just give it rush instead.
Zeddy! We want to watch you stream the SC2 campaign.
Zeddy is always more scared than excited
void ray and chrono are overload
*YOU CAN GET IT ON ONE w/coin prep 😭
Guys, I think my favorite card (Sonya) is back and now it kinda of fari finally!
Team 5 out there to give free dust refund to everybody....
Your pronunciation is correct 😂
You got the name finally!
1 week away! Let's go!
Baseball bat to the side of a devs head costs 0 mana
yes it is PRO TOSS that is correct lol you should play some starcraft Zeddy it's fun!
It's actually pronounced Noobtoss. :P
0 mana W cards even faster meta
I'm still not hyped for this expansion sorry
6:45 exactly that's why
Love your videos dude!
0:59
Let pylons be pylons 🤣
Giving 0 cost cards extra buffs shows to me that Blizzard still doesnt take manacheat seriously. New librams are awful and I'm honestly amazed that they haven't been nerfed into the ground alongside Lynessa
Yea but these cards are only for a deck focused in this mini set
The fact that Libram Paladin is a tier 2 deck with a 52.8% winrate and less than a 1% playrate probably explains a lot about why they haven't been nerfed into the ground (they're actually in a quite healthy spot overall)
Because libram paladin is not even close to being best paladin deck.
@@Taskuli12it is best wild deck rn. Just play some games you would face them a lot.
@@impkiller5932 obviously I was talking about standard. We don't nerf standard deck because of wild.
yup
Pro-toes
Ive never won anything ever lol
5° like and comment until i get the giveaway
I love a miniset that’s somehow even more parasitic than usual.
Nice video
Hey-O 🎉
zero mana?
gawds.. talk about overpriced for its stats'
come on Blizzard you can do better!
🤡🤡🤡
Yes, Pro Toss. :)
Almost there
Woot!
It’s like they take the parts of the game people don’t like and make more of it 🙄
everyone is digging this lol
Early
This mini set seem very parasitic. I am tempted to skip it but the dust value is just too good

Zero mana 5/3 rush with divine shield not good enough for standard. Hearthstone 2025
It is 3 mana at start, you need to play 4 mana card to play it for 0. So there is a reason. Just ramping to Dungar is better then doing that.
First :)
Bro…. can we please go one expansion or even mini set without mana cheat…..come on Blizzard get creative your killing me 🫠
