Additionally, that wire trick thing is BOSS. Really cool! Great paint job tips as well. Hey, are you back on the Facebook groups? You should promote your videos there again if you haven't already! :)
Wait a minute. Wait just a minute. Where's my awesome intro of floating over the awesome town!? I need my fancy intro Nick!! :D (also, good video again).
I saw your tictok video the other day, came straight to your RUclips channel and saw you hadn't posted in over a year. Two days later you posted a new video! Great timing! I followed immediately. Your work is Amazing! Please don't wait another year for the next video. Lol.
Fucking dope build brother, also good to see you back at the craft table. Honestly, you're one of the best crafters on youtube, excited to see more in the future. Been following you since the BMC fellowship
If love to see that crystal made with different base colors under the purple! I want to believe that silver would be a better base color. But I’m obviously not the pro like you!
I've started to use colored metallics for gems/crystals as well... a few additional tips that can improve the painting technique here: 1. add in fluorescent acrylic inks to add selective highlights & vibrancy. Splotches of a corresponding color (eg. flouro-orange or flour-red for red/purple metallic) on the crystal faces, & a contrasting color on the ridges (eg. yellow on red) 2. If you're using the BMC modge-podge prime, 1 thing to keep in mind is you can use any color you like... for the crystal in the video for example, a blue or red would work... especially if the base coat was either a flourescent paint or another metalic! 3. Word of warning on the color shift paints from folk art, they have mixed results when thinning them down 4. Finish off the piece with a coating of gloss medium, to smooth out the paint job & enhance the shiny
I have a few suggestions :) For the cups that u use try getting smaller ones or cutting the cups to make them smaller because u r loosing a lot of product when they stick to the walls of the cups Instead of using popsicle sticks try using a painter's knife spatula thing coz that way ull get more control And since u have jeweller's needle nose pliers why not open one link and put the other chain in, that way ull get a much cleaner transition instead of using the hot gun
Amazing build!! Thank you for the tutorial !! Going to be building this for my brand new campaign!! I want to come up with a way to have interchangeable crystals ! So I can use the same base and use them as teleportation areas in the world but with different coloured crystals !
great question! Crazy glue is a thin glue (which is great) but it burns styrofoam meaning it creates a gap between the two pieces, a weak join. hot glue melts the foam slightly but since it a thick glue you get a solid join:) thats just my experience tho
This gives me Dark Crystal vibes and I'm loving it! I wanted to make a halloween village display so instead of a crystal I think I'll do an evil pumpkin. I love your builds and can't wait to start making my own!
Hiya I don’t know why but I’ve been loving your videos recently and supporting send gifs and such but a moderator keep blocking me from streams and I said hi on today’s stream and I was removed, it just kinda suck :( (I don’t blame you for it at all just didn’t understand)

Could you paint the whole thing in a thin layer of concrete before decorating it to make it a little more sturdy?

Magnets!
I had that thought too and have a way! ill have to do an additional vid
@@FantasyForgeMiniatures oh thank would be amazing!! If you have any ideas I’d love to see it !
2 inch XPS isn't available in my area. Would you guys recommend any particular methods for combining two sheets of 1-inch board?
i find spray adhesives work well for coverage as well as thin, as not to add extra space between the layers
Where the HELL HAVE THIS GUY BEEN
I’m just curious why use hot glue instead of say super glue?
great question! Crazy glue is a thin glue (which is great) but it burns styrofoam meaning it creates a gap between the two pieces, a weak join. hot glue melts the foam slightly but since it a thick glue you get a solid join:) thats just my experience tho
sorry i am european and i am having the worst time of finding this Krazy glue, what ecactly is it?
Super glue. Krazy is a brand name. Any super glue should work.

awesome build but the way he uses the box cutter gave me anxiety. like damn man such confident cuts so close to your fingers...
Yeah if anyones nervous always use protection but ive gotten comfortable with a knife:)
