You do such an amazing job by documenting all the repairs you do. On a recent trip through Eastern Europe my check engine light came on. Error code P0299 or turbo underboost according to my OBD2 scanner. I was fearing the worst, even though there was no performance loss. However, the nearest Mazda dealership were amazing. With their advanced diagnostic tool they were able to identify the issue very quickly. A stuck valve in the vacuum pump. The car was fixed in less than an hour and I was able to continue my journey. Not all dealers are terrible.
Thank you for the great support and video I had nothing but problems with my 2.2 sky active diesel c5 Madza lost oil pressure striped Down so much worn I fitted a recon engine with the latest turbo sensor ,map sensor , vacuum pump total cleaned egr inlet and refitted . Now nothing but turbo problem no power but no codes on my diagnostic pc
Thank you very much for posting information about diesel Mazda engines. Could there be someone so thorough who would also post about the 2nd generation 2.2 diesel engines?
In the forscan forum, some guys stated that after changing some or all the injectors because if frequent regs (30-40 km), they solved the issue as the regs after became every 200+ km. The cause seems to be cavitation issue with some of the batches of these Denso injectors till 2017 made...
I started to disassemble the intake up to the turbo of a 2015 Mazda CX-5 2.2 150cv. I found the turbo flap broken. But we have not found the piece that joins the shaft. I do not think it has been destroyed. Where could that broken metal piece be? I have seen people who found it in the intercooler.
broken pin deffinitely will be in the intercooler. Remove pipe going in to intercooler and stick magnetic pick up tool into intercooler and you will find that broken pin in there
That is the older version of this sensor that melts with the heat.Mazda already has the upgraded one that they sell and its made of metal and it comes with all that you need to get it installed.

Unfortunately its not magnetic 😢 but with some patience you can fish it out 😂
@@kornizz5549 Upsss. OK, thanks a lot.
@@danielfarago4439 Yes, you are probably right, because I don't think the broken flap is magnetic either. Thanks.
