They do but people need to keep in mind in a sound room mounted in enclosure box most speakers are going to sound really good but depending what kind of vehicle you have they may or may not sound as good.
Good sound on them. I don't know if you already had this planned or not but I would appreciate if after all tests are done to edit them playing your nightmarish song cause I'm lazy and trying to jump back and forth to get a listen to them is hard. Keep up the good work
A good video as usual, but a couple of things. Does the size of the magnet really indicate how strong it is? Most speakers of this type, including the rounds ones are intended to be "free air", to be installed in car doors, package shelves, under seats in recreation boats like pontoon boats. Putting them in a tiny box does not bring out the best bass response IMO. Mounting them to a sheet of heavy plywood would probably sound better. Using a watt meter would help with testing power handling and efficiency. Signal generator for frequency response. You did verify that my desktop speakers were wired correctly for L/R test! Oh, in the states, we use Alligator clips (they're more pointy). LOL.
You should try Rockville RVL69W woofers they handle 150w each. The woofers have dual stacked magnets and the magnet weighs 70oz. These are not coaxial speakers but I would like to see what they can do and if you like them.
Maybe use your best microphone available to do a spectrum plot of all the pairs of speakers. Run some pink noise from a reliable source, at a consistent volume (from the microphones perspective, sensitivity will vary amongst drivers of course) and a set distance from the drivers, to get some visual data across the board. Shouldnt be terribly hard to do with a couple inserts and VSTs available in Fruity Loops.
Hi there , I’ve got a pair of these in my van and they are running from the rear channels of a Sony head unit and they literally have no bass whatsoever ? I’m thinking the head unit isn’t powerful enough ,any ideas please ?
Check to make sure the speakers are wired correctly, red to red, black to black on the terminals.. swap one side around as your first test. If the bass returns, it was just a polarity issue. Even if the stereo isn't great, there should be some sort of bass, double check the enclosures are properly sealed.
how do you know it's not that if you haven't checked it? What you describe is exactly what happens with that issue, as well as a badly sealed enclosure.
@@MyStonerMind420 I have changed the wiring over and I wired them myself and they are wired correctly ,the box they are fitted into doesn’t have a bottom to it ,I’ll seal that and see what happens but I’ve had 6x9s in a parcel shelf before and they had more bass than these do that’s why I ask
do you hear the same amount of bass when just one speaker is connected or does it increase slightly? I know not all speakers are equal but I've had speakers on parcel shelves in the past and yes the bass should be noticeable even on crappy speakers 🤷♂️
They sound good but ill be completely honest i had a set in my polo for a whole 2 weeks before the connection broke within the speaker came off the cone itself and got a refund after that i never touched another set of them, But bought a pair of there 6 inches yesterday to stick in the Kia Pro ceed, Just needing to change the stereo now so they can actually be driven
Love watching your content man! It cheers me up everyday and I can relate as an audio enthusiast!

Like Your videos there funny and *QUALITY CONTENT*
I have mine with a tube in makes hardly no difference. Might make floorstanding size boxes with 6x9s in.
Hi, Thanks for your reviews. I would like to know what amp wattage you are pumping into these speakers please?
Those are big magnets!

Dat magnet tho
You should try 6.5 components after this 6.9 series
Do you recommend these Vibe audio slick for sound quality under 200 dollars ?
Just got a set today cheap with boxers 20 quid all in. Similar limited mid bass
God that bass tho

You should do a review on these
CDT Audio CL-69 SUBCF 6" X 9", Rockville RVL69W
There are a few more that look decent that i didnt get info for
And at 7:30 !!! That is too dope....
They sound the best yet mr they have a bit more bass than most
Aye man love the vid as per
Which brand do you recommand ? Vibe audio, focal, mtx or Pioneer?
Personally in my car I'd go for Focal, they're quality speakers with quality sound.
Why are you bashing the paper cone? I personally like paper better than poly cones. Sounds smoother to me. Metal cones are cool too
Sound Good
Nice :D
I've got them in my car amd the rms are for one speaker I have 4 of them on my parcel shef and oh my god they are loud

@@MyStonerMind420 it’s not that. Makes little to no difference. The cones move but just have virtually no bass 🤷♂️
