Just started doing 100 rep (just bar) squats a couple of weeks ago. This is based on a tip from one of Ryan Humiston's videos where you basically do 100 reps for one set. You can take little breaks, but the bar can't come off your back until you get all the reps. It's just brutal. By the time I get to rep 60, I don't think there's another 40 in me. I've been adding small amounts of weight per workout, but it's only been 2.5 pound plates. It's that tough to get through a set...and my quads are destroyed.
Are they noticeably bigger or no?
@@Qball__ no...but I've been eating to get lean, not build muscle. Building muscle is like watching paint dry. Even if I was really trying to, I wouldn't see results for a long time at my age....if at all. But my thighs do look good. They're not huge, but there's a nice taper from top to bottom and the muscle separation is there.
@@marcus_ohreallyus I've been doing 500 squats twice a week, last fifty are loaded with 10kg kettlebell. Definitely got bigger quads already

Bro your about to be shredded..I just put on 20 pounds and my bench strength increased.. like at 168 I could do 225 for about 2-3 reps max and at 178-180 I can do 225 perfect form for 5-8 and go up after it’s just my bench that does this idk why everything else remains strong

@@chrisweaver6351 Big variable is genetically determined. People with high degrees of slow twitch fiber can generally tolerate these type of workouts better. Of course diet and drug intake are major factors. But even for someone who is more fast twitch (like Larry) it can still be highly beneficial if done less frequently. Normally I can tolerate 2 consecutive insane training sessions (for one body part) at best, followed by a week of easier low volume training (or just active recovery). Be well.

The man weighs 93KG what is there so unnatural about him? ppl who take roids with his frame weigh 110+. If Mike would juice he would be nearly as big as Andrew. Mike is not even that shredded atm he is kind of in the middle of 8-11%. Mike holds his fat in the lumbar and leg region( Barely visible striations comparing to larry). He just has top class genetics and for his young age he is at S-tier in hypertrophy style lifting.

@RUclips Sucks several meaning 2 inches I know its difficult it was my quest for many years and I did achieve it so I'm sure Larry can ! Unfortunately i have fucked knees from training and my feet from over doing it from doing calves so intense I learnt how to ignore the pain and keep going ,,,now I days only train very light and high reps otherwise I will be fucked for work

All the barbell weights are off by 10# low. That is a 32mm stainless squat bar from Rogue. It’s a 25 kg bar not 20kg like a standard olympic bar. As impressive as this was its actually 10# more impressive than it appears.

It was a rare set when they actually did 10 reps...lol...I don’t blame them though, this was really just a workout to bring on the suck and they didn’t need 10 reps for it to suck.
