“Driving a Lamborghini to go get groceries” is a good comparison 😂 The Logic Pro interface looks nice & user friendly 😮 Best of luck with the program, looking forward to the next update 😁
Lol honestly, it may feel like an even bigger difference than that. I honestly still want to learn it because it does things Final Cut can’t do for video editing. It’s just not a priority right now. We’ll see how Logic Leo goes. Thank you!
I’m trying to go down the iPad pro road for Voice Over also. Glad I found your videos. I’m not there yet, but I hope to find the correct tools. Like you I’m not a fan of Laptops, but if I have too I’ll give in. Wondering how you like logic now, you are way ahead of me. Soon I have to commit to a new iPad Pro or MacBook. I’m holding out with hope, even though many having giving up on Ipad.
@@JeffKellyMedia thanks for commenting and glad to hear you’re on a similar path. I still think the iPad CAN work. There are some DAWs like Twisted Wave that allow you to record and edit but I just couldn’t get used to the interface. As for Logic, I did figure out how to use it but it’s not a clean solution yet. For whatever reason, Apple did not include a simple Marquee function that the full version has. That would allow you to cut out dead air and mistakes without treating a region every time. So you’re left with cutting, which requires an extra step with each cut. Not a big deal for short reads but I’m working on an audiobook and had to use the MacBook because it would be a nightmare with Logic’s current version. The nice thing is that Logic has a nice EQ and also has 3rd party plugin support for de-clicks and de-easing. I just wish they update and bring the marque tool. It’s literally the only missing step.
@@DayOneVoiceover yes good to know about Logics one flaw. I can use and have used Twisted Wave. I want to go all in with IPad, but not there yet. I want one device only. I’ve got Davanci Resolve for my video projects on IPad and I thought Logic might be good for VO . Or Final Cut and Logic and stay all Apple. These work arounds are still a concern. Also I already own many audio plugins that are only good on OS for MacBook, I may have to give in and keep a MacBook around for audio only projects. Voice isolation software is the key breakthrough for Voice over. I want to travel with just an iPad, interface and mic I have a Tri-booth. I might not even need the portable booth, if I can dial in Voice Isolation for IPad. Every 6 months something comes along that just about gets me completely over to iPad. I’ve spent way to much time and money trying to make something unique. I have not given up yet. Laptops just seem so yesterday.
@ agreed. A traditional computer is the safer way to go. But I feel like I’m just 1 step away from making it happen on the iPad. If you do go the laptop route, I’d recommend an M-Series MacBook because they’re fabless. No need to keep them out of the booth.
@@TrueNorf Definitely. That being said, I’ve never really worked with them, even on the laptop. I feel like the built in Audacity options did what I needed them to. But I’m still a newb so I haven’t ventured too far into the ultra fine tweaking of the files yet. Thankfully, Logic on iPad has a bunch of plug ins available.
Thaaaank you for this!! Okay…*sigh* I said riding with you til the end. I’m downloading Logic Pro too for my iPad😂 cause im highly impressionable and you’re my RUclips mentor now. 😂 (kidding)
@@duanecuster7166 LOL. Man, I totally had intended on giving you a shoutout in my video and didn’t realize I forgot until I was in the middle of the edit. My bad. But your previous comment about DR inspired me to do this video. Now we’re both on a journey to figure this out! I also forgot to mention that Logic Pro did transfer many of the keyboard shortcuts from the desktop version over to the iPad so using the keyboard with the iPad should make the experience pretty smooth. Logic already feel much more natural to use, which makes sense given that its an Apple product. I’m looking forward to this.

Good luck with Logic Pro! I used it years ago, and there's been a bunch of upgrades since! Keen to see how you get on with it! 😁👍🏾
@@TrueNorf thank you, sir. It already feels like the most natural/comfortable of the DAWs I’ve tried for the iPad. Fingers crossed! 🤞🏼

Hello Robert! What cam , are you recording this videos? Keep going! Thks
@@Tomaslaravo hola Tomas. I’m using a Canon 6D. I’m a photographer as well and it’s my main camera for still photos also. Thanks for commenting!
@@DayOneVoiceover Gracias!
I really like your intro song. Can you tell me what it's called?
@@A.Gringo-hs9wf Thanks! But it’s actually just one of the built in songs with the video editor. Haha I wish I could claim it as my own.
Thanks
