Nice job on the ol'Girl. I have two of these in my stash, maybe someday i will get around to building them. Right now into my stash of F4U corsair aircraft.
@SATOGIKEN Yeah I picked them up about 10 years ago, they were from an estate sale, altogether I bout 20 kits, all tamiya, a bunch of model master paint 30 or 40 1/4oz bottles, couple bottles of tamiya thin glus, etc. I think I spent $100 total. There was +1000 kits, a lot cars, aircraft and some tanks/vehicle kits. It was kind of sad because a modeler had passed away. There were photographs of his finished models, but none were on location the day of the estate sale.
That old kit was very good for its time but with one glaring error. The track connectors do not go from one track pad to another, instead they were put so that each track pad had both track pad connectors and there is no connection between each pad. So even though you are building it right out of the box you would have made a more accurate kit by replacing the tracks all together. I tried to put the tracks from one of Tamiya's M4 kits which I had used very detailed individual working track kits. I was going to make either a prime mover for a Long Tom artillery piece or a recovery vehicle out of it. But then came Takom's recovery vehicle with full interior. I had purchased a just the spruces for the Dragon Wagon to make the winch inside the M3, and there was so much modification that had to be made that I decided to abandon the project and build the Takom kit. Alas, so many other projects have interested me that I have not had time to do that.

てっきりタイガー的なものを期待していたのでヘンテコリンなフォルムに愕然としたが、唯一無二のフォルムに段々魅了され大好きになったわ。タコムシリーズのLEEも全部作った。

子供の頃初めて買ったのがこの戦車。
当時うまくできなくて途中でやめちゃった。
大人になって店で見かけてリベンジした。
それでもなんかボディを組み立てるのが苦労した印象でした。
昔の説明書は..子どもには分かりにくいですね😅たしかに今のキットのようにピッタリ合わせるのは難しい。
