These railway stations have a special atmosphere. I personally can not visit those ones, but I can feel it watching these recordings. I feel the atmosphere of these railway stations with pleasure. Many thanks for making and posting these videos! 🙂
The "mystery" red coach with one window is a Mk. 1 Gangwayed Full Brake (BG) modified by BR with roller shutter doors. One of two on the WSR: No. 80932 built 1957 and No. 81380 built 1958.
Your caption explained. Incidents like this could lead to the complete closure of the railway, which no-one wants. I hope that idiotic car driver has learned a valuable lesson: level crossings are not time-wasters, they are life-savers. I've watched an advert concerning this sort of thing, and it's good advice for all of us. In the advert, one train passes over the crossing. The lights are still flashing saying, "Stay put. Another train is approaching." The Car Driver, "Toby", gets impatient and gets his wife and child killed. He is shocked at what he has caused and learns too late safety is paramount, for all of us no matter where we are.
@@kellyashfordtrains2642 they wouldn’t shut the railway down. The crossing worked. If anything they would insist barriers are used or somebody stands at the crossing with a flag.
Right Evan! It should be acted upon when in case the level crossing barrier is missing there must be a guard carrying flag to control the situation there.

Those are the controls to operate the ballast carried in those wagons which can drop its contents between the tracks.

And then I have not even mentioned these trains, which are real specialties.
Thank goodness II was a near miss & that’s all!
I loved the wheelbarrow of mixed lobelia at the beginning!
All's well that ends well. That wheelbarrow does look great.
Interesting video, bet the driver of that car felt pretty stupid!
You can see in the video the train driver had got off to talk to the car driver
