For those of you who don't know, in the original cut of the movie, during the final battle shortly after Venom kills Harry, Peter is horrified to see Venom detach itself from Eddie, leaving behind only a skeleton. There then becomes a question of how long Eddie has been dead and it serves as a metaphor for being consumed by anger and a need for vengeance. At this point Venom tries to reattach to Peter. It is defeated with even more sound after Peter pulls down a rack of metal poles which produce a bunch of sound waves, evaporating into nothing, rather than burning alive from one of Harry's pumpkin bombs.

Yea yeah, Spider-Man appeals to kids, but Spider-Man media has always gone to dark places, and I don't think the sensibilities of some kids should be a reason to sacrifice such a powerful plot-point. If anything, I think watching scary things like that as a child can be a good thing. It builds character, gives you a reason to remember the movie. The way Eddie dies in the final cut was beyond lame. It would have been better to make the audience unsure where Eddie ends and Venom begins. To Venom, Eddie was a means to an end: to get back with his favorite host- Spider-Man.
This was always my favorite version of Venom, it's a great mix of Venom trying to copy Peter, from abilities to even how he looks while in his suit, but still being a ruthless monster
Spectacula's Venom solos but yeah S-M 3's is good. Just needed more development, depth and accuracy un terms ir the Venom double persona and his appearance.
Whenever I think of Venom I think of the 90’s Cartoon, Spectacular Venom and of course Raimi Venom. These 3 are my childhoods and the way I always look at the character. To me he always going to be a villain instead of a anti hero. Love Hardy Venom but villain Venom kicks butt.
It's not much A theme as it is many themes that are connected by a motif. Venom's music feels like it's crawling for lack of a better word, more chaotic and bombastic.

I liked how The Symbiote felt almost like an elemental evil spirit of corruption in the Film (And Ultimate Spider-Man Show) rather than an extraterrestrial hybrid organism. The "Lethal Protector",Spectacular(Which I loved otherwise)and the Venom Film humanized the Symbiote way too much for my liking!
Apparently that was the intention. Christopher Young was told for his composing that the Venom symbiote was gonna be "Satan in the flesh" during the film
They actually left it open for him to come back when u see him burn alive some black slime slithers away past the flames it seems even the commentary mentioned this if I remember correctly Plus Sam raimi and tobey AND the actor for sandman AND a few others mentioned wanting to do a 4th film after no way home due to the amount of hype tobey got and all around missing doing these films But Sam raimi said he would ONLY agree to it if he was given ENTIRE control over the project he doesint want a repeat of 3 and the previously cancelled original 4th film
I noticed that Venom's motif is like a screwed up Elfman Spider-Man theme. This makes sense since the whole point of Venom in this film is that he is that Rami wanted to make him dark mirror of Spider-Man and Eddie a crappy version of Peter Parker, so him having a theme with a distorted and disturbing almost anti-heroic feel makes total sense. At first I didn't like it but his theme really is starting to grow on me.
I find this theme to be not just a mysterious kind of way (since the Symbiote is a mysterious life form), but also a satanic horror bound kind of way as Venom is made to be the complete opposite of Spider-Man, what he would become if he let the Symbiote influence him completely.
Love the final battle music, Raimi Venom's theme gives me vibes of a evil cartoon villian, especially with the dramatic choir that goes with it. Its so sinister and yey campey in the best way possible. Also looking up Christopher Young track record for music and doing a lot of horror movie OST like Hellraiser makes perfect sense and fits so well for this version of the character.

If Sony didnt forced Sam Rami to add venom we would not had got this and never will cuz sam didnt liked this villain and even tho he didnt liked it and still made it they made Venom/Eddie great my opinion but for a solo movie to learn more but still we dont know if we will see him again but anything is possible since you know the multiverse i would love him to come back one more time like Tobey did.
Venom and Sandman deserved a better movie, Spider-Man 3 was an injustice. But even still, Christopher Young (composer) is a genius, he already composed The Grudge's soundtrack, he's great to make scary soundtracks!
To me, Venom would have been more impactful if Harry Osborn was the host instead of Eddie Brock, then he would have had an absolution arc of sorts in the next film.

@@anuharcastillo8197 de hecho eso nos hubiera deja con traumas jaja, pero lo quitaron por lo mismo, y si, realmente esa curiosidad te hizo perderle el miedo pero es impresionante el como en una película de superhéroes ponían escenas no tanto para niños, yo siento que sí hubieran hecho el diseño de Venom actual al de la saga de Tobey, hubiera sido más atemorizante jajajajajajajaja, es que a Sam Raimi le encantó poner screamers jajaja 😂

If Sony didnt forced Sam Rami to add venom we would not had got this and never will cuz sam didnt liked this villain and even tho he didnt liked it and still made it they made Venom/Eddie great my opinion but for a solo movie to learn more but still we dont know if we will see him again but anything is possible since you know the multiverse i would love him to come back one more time like Tobey did.

Venom and Sandman deserved a better movie, Spider-Man 3 was an injustice. But even still, Christopher Young (composer) is a genius, he already composed The Grudge's soundtrack, he's great to make scary soundtracks!

Unpopular opinion: I think Topher Grace look more sinister than Tom Hardy. Sad his role too short in this movie.
To me, Venom would have been more impactful if Harry Osborn was the host instead of Eddie Brock, then he would have had an absolution arc of sorts in the next film.
