  • A visit to the Bekonscot Light Railway at Bekonscot Model Village in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire.
We start at Beaconsfield Railway Station where we see a Chiltern Railways class 165 depart before we walk up to Bekonscot Model Village. As well as a trip on the light railway we discover an abandoned station and a disused railway! We finish with a look at the model village itself and the Gauge 1 model railway.

It's been years since I visited the model village, but I didn't realise there was a light railway for a tour around the grounds. Thanks Henry for sharing this with us. I would like to congratulate your sister on her wonderful artwork. The tunnel is incredibly realistic!

There are some miniature railways in london but a lot of them are not in london. Plus, I live in london. Any miniature railways in london you know? As long as it’s not parks, I don’t like parks cause of dogs.

I can think of at least 10 miniature railways in London, most of them are in parks but ones like Ickenham and Ilford have there their own sites.

Go to London Marylebone Railway Station and get a train to Beaconsfield, as you can see in the video it's not far from Beaconsfield Railway Station!

Hi Henry I visited recently and noticed all of the passing loops and some tracks around the signal box weren’t in use.
Any plans to get them back in action?

@@skilledarma It might be that section was out of action for maintenance or just not in use that day.

Henrys Adventures noticed the track was dull so I guess it hadn’t been used in ages thanks for the reply!
