    No ,,to go under must be a washer with out the pedestal or if you don't have access to the back you can always take the pedestal door out and work from there.. thanks for your video very helpful..for people to save money..I'm a technician for 25 Years

    If you tilt the washer its an access panel under the washer hold by 2 screws easy access to the water pump👍

      Even with the pedestals attached?

    • @Anonymous-zv9hk

      @@nosmokingzoneWasher sits on pedestal; on mine, you open the drawer and the three screws holding the bottom of the panel on the machine are easily accessible. Kenmore put all T-20 Torx type screws on mine. You can get T-20 screwdriver, or get a hex drive set of Torx bits and use a hex driver to do the work - if the driver is not magnetized, the bit will fall out and roll under the pedestal every time the driver w/bit is pointed down. Wera bits and screwdrivers are made to hold the bits on tightly while you're using their brand of tools.

    Good morning on this beautiful Sunday...couple of weeks ago I found your video and I have a washer and dryer exactly like yours and my washer was not draining and I did exactly what you did with your washer and my washer is working now I Thank you so much for that..... Now my dryer will start and stop after 5 seconds and do the same thing all over again,could you please help me because these machines are very high for maintenance...

    • @nosmokingzone
      @nosmokingzone  4 года назад

      Good Morning Ruth, beautiful indeed.
      I'm glad the washer is working for you again. That's a big relief.
      As for the dryer, are there any error codes or lights flashing?
      The dryer vent could be blocked or the breaker could be loose.
      Make sure the lint trap is cleaned before/after each cycle.
      Try taking off the exhaust pipe and running a cycle to see if it works. If it works, then you know you have a clogged exhaust pipe.
      You can also try running it without any clothes or a very small amount of clothes to see if it runs.

    What type of screwdriver do you use for those weird screws? Allen wrench?

      I believe I used a Torx bit in my cordless Bosch drill. It took me less than two seconds per screw.

      Try unplugging the washer for 5 minutes, making sure you do a smaller load first, then check the drain plug again.

    My Samsung washer wouldn’t spin (saying UB) so I cleaned the filter but it won’t spin the clothes fast enough (they spin like they are are the washing cycle, slow) so by the time the cycle is complete, they are soaking still

    • @robert997
      @robert997 3 года назад

      I looked up the Samsung code UB and it says typically, the Samsung washer error code UB is called: unbalanced load (too few / many things); twisting of linen; non-observance of the rules of washing (lack of a bag for shoes, improper combination of fabrics).
      Hope that helps.

    • @pariss6466
      @pariss6466 3 года назад

      @@robert997 yea the ub eventually goes away (I cleaned the filter again) but the main problem for me is that when it’s on spin, it doesn’t spin fast enough- the clothes are soaked so I have to wait a few hours then put them in the dryer

    Why would a filter cleaning fix slow spin? This only works if the washer wont drain

    • @nosmokingzone
      @nosmokingzone  Год назад

      Probably because of a sensor detecting that it's not empty so it doesn't ramp up the speed to full.

    Been living without washing machine before..
    Always use hands to wash
    And when I married to my husband, he has washing machine in his house..
    When I turn it on, the machine broke, it won't work
    Now, my mother-in-law asked me to turn on the machine for second time and this time the machine spin too fast and won't stop 😭😭 what the hell is happening

    • @nosmokingzone
      @nosmokingzone  4 года назад

      Wow sorry to hear that. Try using a slower spin setting. If your washer doesn't have that or if that doesn't work, try calling a local washing machine repair service to take a look. It usually only costs one hour of service to diagnose the problem. It's definitely worth doing.
