Finally! the best version of soul land is here and very similar to the anime,the CGI and effectts are realistic! the characters here are so beautiful, the director did not dissapoint actually. I loved season 1 duoluo continent now am exicted for this one!
The anime is still way better but this version of live actor is much better then the previous version. I am surprise that this show actually brought the license for the actual battle music.

Just finished watching the prequel "Duoluo Continent" last night. Very excited to begin this sequel with a new cast. I hope it's as good if not better than the first.
Agree. I rewatched all of Soul Land while waiting for this series to finish airing after I saw the previews. Zhang Yuxi's Xiao Wu cannot be more perfect. The rest of the casting and production as a whole was amazing as well in the first ep. Can't wait to finish the rest of it.
I know a lot of people liked the first season, but it honestly didn't feel like Soul Land to me-it felt like a completely different show! The changes they made in season 1 changed everything about the story!

The fight scene in this first episode, although a little different but is similar to the final battle/ending in the Douluo Continent seasons 1 live action drama. The main actors do look their part similar to the anime counterpart. The acting and personality of the Shrek team is a bit lacking. I miss the original cast for Shrek team, but maybe the new actors are not use to their characters yet. Hopefully it improve as more episodes goes on. As long as it is a continuation from season 1, I'll give it a chance and see how they improve their characters. My fave part in season 1 of Duoluo Continent is the Shrek team's teamwork, friendship, creativity, and comedic timing. Hopefully it will continue in this season 2 drama. There are some amazing casting for the side/support characters that look familiar. The music sounds good and has a similar tone and emotion to the first season/anime. Angela Zhang sang one of the OST for the anime, the ost so far is good.The CGI is even better in this one, I hope the acting and the plot will be good as the story progresses. After they graduated and seperated they all had a glam up in the anime, so having new a cast is fine. I like the distinct personalities in Shrek team had in season 1, hopefully each main will have character growth through the series.

I have no hate for the actor's, some of them are very well known they did their best but still it's somehow looks kinda not well going with the story! I don't know by myself, 2. At the first ep they show the final battle production team try to keep it cool , but without any audience, its kinda look weird to me ( battle scene was better in s 1 ) i wat to say it for the first ep ! Again it's the production issues, not the actors!! 3. This time they have better VFX or computer based work ! But those things looks better in S 1 for me .(its my opinion) 3. I love the Main Leads if course but but but!!!! Tang san have a kind vibe in him or its him natural! S 2 main lead may look very related to tang san but it's can't give hims vibe but in S 1 it was opposite lol , xiao zhan doesn't look much related to tang san but does give a smooth tang san vibe 3 . After finishing S 1 , I saw Soul land fully for 2 times, even now i sometimes watch its clips.... S 1 was not exactly like the animated version but it's does give it's a vibe but its S 2 production team try to keep the show exactly like the animated version but it's not get well with the vibe , man ! I watched 6 eps , i didn't get the wow thing man !! Lol 😂 ,*(i have experience for watching that type of fantasy drama)* 🙂↕️ Again actor's did their best! Its the production's fault man !! When they fly for fight it's kinda looked faked man ! Lol
they should just call it douluo continent season 2 because that's what it is.too bad the actors who did season 1 are not the same ones here.doulou continent was one of my favourite dramas in 2021.A good drama to watch if you haven't
