Early cherry blossoms in Tokyo 🌸

Sakura Jingu is probably my favourite shrine to visit as cherry blossoms season begins 🌸
With 3 kawazu-zakura, it’s definitely a must-visit spot if you want to enjoy early blooming cherry blossoms! On top of that, their goshuin is extremely popular, so while you don’t have to line up if you just want to enjoy the cherry blossoms, you will definitely have to be patient to buy a goshuin or an omamori (I think it’s worth the wait, and I say that while I waited in the freezing rain for over an hour 😅)
While kawazu-zakura have been blooming a lot earlier this year, you can probably still enjoy them for a couple of days before their green leaves start coming out as well 🌸
