Nuzlocke rules:
Fainted Pokemon must be permanently boxed
Only the first encounter on any given route may be caught (dupes clause)
All pokemon must be nicknamed
Hardcore Rules:
Always Set mode
No items from the bag option in battle (held items are ok)
No overleveling the next gym leader

To be fair, given the jokes, wouldn’t those terminally online people be Water/Ground types at best? And to be specific, a Whiscash at best?
This jokes implies that those groups of people have went outside and also are fit, but not top-tier.
Challenge Idea:
Pokémon Nuzelocke where, for each route/possible encounter, you spin a Type Wheel.
For whatever it lands on, you have to catch a pokemon with that chosen type as your possible encounter on that Route.
And if there's none of that type, you spin again right?

Challenge idea: Harcore nazlock only single type pokemon e.g. you can't use dragonite but you can use lycanroc
So only Pokémon with only one type, that is actually really cool
My favorite pokemon has only 1 type after it fully evolves compared to the 2 other starters

For real though, this was a great run. I really liked the rule you used about not getting to replace a team member until someone dies. I always love it when some of the more unloved Pokemon are given a chance to shine
I’m doing a mono dark run and when I got to opal i just made my moxie scrafty learn protect and it was VERY easy
Honestly this run in particular is really interesting to me. Why? Because you made use of defensive and supportive pokemon in such an effective way. Whimsicott controlled the entire Raihan battle just by spamming encore and charm at the right moments. Ferrothorn was able to sweep teams by protect stalling with setup + iron barbs. Incineroar was able to get Fake Out chip, Intimidate, and pivot effectively with Parting Shot. Though dead, Porygon2 deserves special mention here for being able to click recover as well as potentially threatening Analytic boosted boltbeam coverage + Tri attack. More experienced nuzlockers tend to play more like this which I think is refreshing in comparion to clicking the super effective button after a boosting move for the win. Makes there be more strategy involved with switching around threats. Just thought that it was cool to note bc this is a very cool run!
Well, the whole point of nuzlocking is that you have to play this way more often than not. In a normal pokemon game getting 4 good coverage moves on a sweeper is usually enough to solo the game using one pokemon :P
@@NoBuddy89 I would say that's true if you're intentionally overlevelling. At or near level, it's unlikely you just knock everything out unless you've got a type advantage against a whole team or are using something that's very strong.

Hey Antlerboy love your videos I have been binge watching them non stop since I found your channel PLEASE do a sword & shield hardcore nuzlock with steel types I just think galarian Meowth is hilarious. Plus corviknight is a huge fan favorite and i know the run would be fun to watch.

Nowadays I always drop the Pokémon into Pokémon Home then into Legends Arceus, Evolve the Porygon or whatever Pokémon needs it then send it back. Cuts out the trading time and items are so much more abundant in that game.
Unfortunately i cannot watch the video right away due to bad wifi. But ill watch it on the weekends for sure. I believe you are on vacation right now or close to. So have a wonderful vacation. Can't wait to see this video, seems very interesting and fun.

maybe an idea of a challenge:
its like a chain catch, but with a twist:
for ex. you caught an oddish, his typing is grass/poison. the next pokemons primary type has to be poison and any second type.
so basically the rule to catch pokemon is you can only catch pokemon of the last pokemons secondary type. (if a pokemon a single type, ex. poochyena - pure dark type, you catch next dark pokemon you encounter)

Would love to see you take on Pokemon black or white and limit yourself to only one use of your setup moves per battle. May not be as interesting from an encounter perspective, but it's challenging and you get to use mons you might not usually use. I've failed twice already, because I keep missing out on the Krookodile encounter and the back to back N and Ghetsis fight is insane, but it's still so fun! I think you would kill it!

Jynx actually is a great Pokemon despite its unfortunate design. It has a great offensive typing and access to great moves, even as early as gen 2. It's very fast, specially bulky, and has a high special attack, making it a decent sweeper.

Here's a challenge idea:
Hardcore nuzzlock but each pokemon can only have 1 damage move, the other 3 must not be able to do any damage to the opponent.
Eg: protect, swords dance, iron def etc.
You can use multiple type pokemons so type diversity is a yes.
I was starting my own nuzlocke in legends Arceus while watching this... I kinda want to see another one in that game. Maybe electric or fire

I wish the games would implement a random starter feature in it, still have the 3 starters like normal but have the professor say something like " you can choose one of these Pokemon but I also have this Pokemon egg that was given to me but I don't know what it is" and when you pick it the egg would hatch into a random Pokemon. Of course there'd be some exclusions like no legendaries or first stage Pokemon only and they'd have to have an attack move from the start but it would make the game a lot better for those who wanted to challenge themselves or those who don't really like to use the starter Pokemon.
I was wondering when this video would come out. I kinda lost track of the stream after I got voted of the team, good to see you still managed to beat the run. I'm sure it would have been a lot less close if Azumarill hadn't been voted of ;).
