That was awesome. ...been trying to get a good look and handle on the rislta model online and this little tour and you're fixes wad by far the best I've seen. ..will be full timing in few years and am loving the rislta more and more thanks again great video
Just an FYI for anyone thinking of a Rialta purchase: The engines are only 140 hp for the older models. Starting in 2002, they got upgraded to a more powerful 201 HP engine. Depending on your needs, the smaller, weaker engine might be fine. Might even get a few more MPGs. But travelling over hilly terrain, or towing, or carrying more than 2 people inside might require a 2002 or newer model year. The extra 61 hp really comes in handy, from what I've heard and read. Happy Travels !
They would need some upgrades to modernize like , entertainment system, vents for bathroom, tankless hot water system, solar panels and rechargeable batteries
I want to buy a used Rialta for full-time living, after college. I can pay off student debt faster, and save for a house. It's also smaller than most RVs. I don't want one that is too big.
It is a good choice in that it has a nice amount of space, easy to drive and park, and has all the camping stuff, like fridge, stove, sink, heat, AC, generator, ect. Like any RV it will require maintenance. We really enjoy living in ours!
Just out of curiosity what did you originally pay for your Rialta?? I'm thinking of getting one possibly but not sure how much I feel comfortable enough investing in one
John Hales The headroom varies by where you stand and the model. The maximum is 6 feet 2 inches, probably under the skylight by the kitchen or in the entry way. My estimate of the minimum is closer to 5 feet 9-10 inches. Under the AC you can subtract a few inches inches. I removed the AC to save weight and increase headroom.
Rumah BenAvari All RVs have issues and you just have to deal with them as they come up. Overall I am extremely happy with the RV experience in the Rialta. It is very space efficient, a breeze to drive and park and so far very reliable.

Lovely looking VW Rialta.
Love the little drawer on the floor in the kitchen. I would use it for footwear.
It is a pretty easy mod to do. We really like the extra storage. Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much!
Beautiful looking VW Rialta. Besides the interior upgrades, have there been any mechanical upgrades done to it?
You should read books for Audible. Nice voice - and helpful Rialta info!

Rialta99 thanks.....tall enough for me :)
I’m interested to know how you manage without the A/c? Do you have a free standing unit? Or just fans? Any downsides?
