Man, his samples are always so killer, they punctuate the off-kilter, borderline-violent, dark and moody beats perfectly. Him, Burial, Asa and Sorrow are masters at it. And as the other commentor said, the violin section is bliss, brothers and sisters, we are blessed to live along side such extraordinary perceptive geniuses. Long live.
@@stefanbraidwood2007 if you want something that kind of has heavy switches like this one, I would suggest his tracks "Blue Violet" and "Sex" but that entire album is good. "Portrait with Firewood" I don't think anything is like this tune though.
first listen i was a little disappointed because it sounded nothing like synkro's look at yourself. Now each time i listen i hear it so clearly. DJRUM is nothing short of brilliant. Absolutely remarkable sound with a unique touch that always keeps you on your toes. Thank you Djrum.
@@DannykeepsitG Well, it was quite a bold statement on me to say "of all times", but here's a small taste of what would be a mix of forever relevant themes and also hidden gems in this huge world of the electronic music. in order to love ourselves, we need to come to terms with who we were in the past...... since we all came from one credence, who we are is essentially all in one. to explore that we need to put ourselves in the shoes of others..... therefore, caring for others, others as in others from around the world, is caring for ourselves. we all come from one. separation is an illusion.

This song hits different, by the time it drops at 8 minutes I was nearly moved to tears

I knooooow
it’s UNDERGROUND bitchezzz
Et moi donc…
from dubstep to garage. perfect
Would really appreciate if anyone could recommend more like this, I just found this masterpiece some weeks ago and was blown away.
sorry man, we'd all be richer for having more of this. best I can do is suggest DJRum's EPs; the album is good but not in the same space as this track
My other favourite djrum tracks are 'the miracle' and 'waters rising'. Try those.
And try these other melodic ones:
BSN Posse - Golden Brown
Youandewan - Have the guts
Sully - Flock
