wow i was really suprised and how quaint and simple her salon was. i was expecting a huge, fancy salon with like 50 staff and clients everywhere! She's obviously very down to earth and true to herself and doesnt feel the need to fit the celebrity criteria of "bigger is better". good for her, i love Tabatha :)
Yes! I was just saying this to my Hubby yesterday. This would be my one wish. I haven't had my hair professionally done since 2002-ish . I was a Nurse & I've taken care of family members plus worked my job , took care of my kids who are now adults. I've never really pampered myself...I even colored my hair myself . I had to stop working due to spinal surgery & a small stroke & just let my hair get long. I need a change but don't know what to get done & at my wits end. Oh well, I CAN DREAM! Funny part is when I moved from Pa to NJ to marry my Hubby we lived in Northern part, now we're in Central ,NJ.
I AGREE her salon is nice. I was expecting this sleek industrialized marble stone / wooden floor with state of the art lighting ,wall televisions set inside the walls with Bose sound. Lol I'm glad to see she's down to earth, just like the rest of us .I love her work, spirit and show.
i was expecting a high tech facility of glass and concrete, with robots serving drinks, but regardless, this salon is still very "Tabatha" and really charming.
I'm glad her salon is small and cozy. I'm always intimidated by "high end" salons where the stylists treat you as if there doing you a favor by cutting your hair because as we should all know, they have something better to do with their time.
I am a beauty professional as well and I am so in love with Tabitha's personality!!! She is the epitome of beauty and business. I hope to one day be as confident, controlled and successful as she is. I may need to meditate more or something though lol I'm pretty spastic in comparison. Keep inspiring and teaching Tabitha! You make the world a better place! ♥️
OMG i never knew that her salon is in jersey :DD maybe i can go to her salon and get a haircut from there. i thought she would get a big fancy salon, too!! it's very cute yet professional =D
it makes sense that her hair salon is small, intimate and well controlled. she is an expert and apparently one of the best in her industry. a true master at their craft does not need a lot to operate. i bet she could still be a grandmaster even if she cut hair in her kitchen at home. brilliant.
Wait. THAT'S Tabatha's Salon?! In Ridgefield, NJ?! (shoot. All those years living in NYC, it would have been faster to travel from UWS to go there than downtown!!) Also SO surprising what it looks like ? really don't know what I expected as I've never thought about it but the simplicity and suburban look is not what I might have envisioned, perhaps a bit more edgy & London Urban? Something along the lines of her usual Shoe Style? But I know that Hair is the Star and she would not want anything to upstage that. I guess that I just can't get over she's in Ridgefield, NJ in a Strip Mall with the bit tacky Storefront. But Tabatha is so awesome it doesn't really matter what her Salon looks like!!
Tabatha is a go getter and has truely achieved. She helps a lot of dummies who would have been unemployed and broke if not for Tabathas help. She is certainly someone to respect and admire.
I would give my right pinkie to get a haircut from Tabatha. I have been growing my lightly curly hair out for many months now, wanting a new style, but scared to go anywhere because I can just imagine all the terrible cuts I have had in the past and watching all my growth hit the floor and wind up with a lousy cut or a fine cut but one that doesn't suit me and my face. I am a single mother who would save up the $ in a heartbeat to sit in her chair. What a fab, talented woman!
Didn't realize she was so close to my home town in Hawthorne. And yes, I am surprised by the plainess of the salon and with the color being mixed in the laundry room :( I love the take over show. Being a hair designer and educator myself, I am looking forward to payng a visit to this salon on my next trip home.
I love Tabitha! She's tough and she takes over! It's amazing to see some of these salons! I have been in a salon like any one of these! Even great clips is better. They are lucky to have her!!
I admire Tabatha, I respect her work....I have seen her tv shows but, I can't believe this is her salon...I thought her salon where going to look way better than that...
When is she coming back on tv for her show Tabatha's Salon Takeover?!! I so enjoyed it and dont' know IF it is coming back again or NOT and if so, WHEN? Does anyone know anything?? 5/4/09
To sound French, like Anthropologie? Hey, most of fashion makes no fucking sense, and this is another example of it. I find the "takes over" shows hilarious when all the people are ooohing and aahing over something and I just don't get it. Just like the Peanuts kids laughing "because we don't understand it."
I love Tabatha .... she would scare me if she was my boss but I’m sure it would Benefit me to work for her because she’s such an amazing person and manager (HBIC)!
I love her personality. It's stern, but warm. It's nice that despite her show on bravo and what not, she's not flashy and likes personal relationships with costumers that only a small, quaint, but welcoming salon can offer. No one can really complain about the salon setup; it's professional and personal.
It seems everyone is quick to make comments and judgements based on her personal locale. She does the show on Bravo and provides a make-over for other Salons because they are all missing something, hers is simple, ALWAYS clean, and what matters most is that the service is outstanding. You want pretty decorated, upscale, etc., but then you can expect the prices to go up.
Like she said -- she wanted small and simple and that is what she did and it looks nice to me. I like Tabatha and the show because all she is doing is telling them the right thing and those guys don't get it
i love tabs approach and in true aussie style will tell you to your face because she wants you to be a better stylist and shes making me jealous with her heels and im recovering from a badly fractured ankle i can imagine her standards are very high xxx
I must admit I thought the same. Because she is famous for being top quality I guess It wouldn't really matter If It was just a shed, It's about customers coming back & making the business successful. Tabatha is her own brand that sells itself.
I don't know about that -- If she wanted bigger, she would have easily moved on to New York or someplace way bigger than Ridgewood because of the show and all the stuff she does for companies a long time ago. So I think she just likes it small and simple, because it is not about the size of a place, it matters about the quality of work and if people are paying big dollars for her to work on them, then she is doing something right
her salon, especially the outside, doesn't look half as descent as the places she goes after she fixes them up, particularly the wash room, she would have had a cow on the show
The salon looks clean and nice and I don't care that it's small.. it's still probably great but would it kill her to pain the walls and liven up the place? It's all white and drab except for the little bit of red. She needs to do some design - paint, colors, pictures, etc.. something.. it's just so washed out and ugly.
So small and cozy is ghetto to you? I find it to be very welcoming and comforting. Besides its supposed to be about hair and all that really matters is how well the stylist do there job. The place is well kept and clean. No where near ghetto looking to me. But to each there own🤷♀️
Aren't we all on a Tabatha binge-watching tour since some channel posted old episodes? :) God bless this channel !
Yes. Yes we are.
I’m so glad people still remember and love her show!
I watched one of her videos the other day for the first time and now i'm hooked. What an amazing lady Tabatha is.
@@amandaa5104 She's really addictive indeed. :)
omggg 😭😭😭

I absolutely love and respect Tabatha. I wish I could get my hair done by her. 🌟🌟

I absolutely LOVE, Tabitha Coffey!!!❤️❤️❤️
💁♀️I just love her, she's smart, and beautiful. And always dress nice in her black one of my favorite colors uou ROCK Tabatha 🖤👍☺
Lmao me too. It is a clean salon though. The only thing I wish she fixed was the store front. Making the sign more snazzy
Apparently the salon she works at in West Hollywood is really big. I love her!
LOVE TABATHA!!! i just love how she is honest on her show and her salon looks great:-)
Somehow, I imagined her salon as a huge place, but it is a lovely, intimate venue. I’d love to visit it someday.
I am a beauty professional as well and I am so in love with Tabitha's personality!!! She is the epitome of beauty and business. I hope to one day be as confident, controlled and successful as she is. Aussie spirit still shing through for Tabitha. 👏🥰
Tabatha is such a incredible person, I truly admire her blunt honesty , but shows extreme kindness that truly deserve it!!

She would pass out if she saw how fancy my salon is. I wonder in 2020 if her salons are more high end looking?
She doesn’t own a salon.
@@mouzube the video is literally showing HER salon. What are you talking about?
@@GisamokanNa yeah but in the beginning it said the day was 2008 so she probably doesn’t own it anymore
She sold her salon a few years ago, she mainly works for Matrix now doing education, hair shows, etc.
Love this lady!❤❤❤

Wow, her salon is . . . fabulous.
Tabatha is a go getter and has truely achieved. She helps a lot of dummies who would have been unemployed and broke if not for Tabathas help. She is certainly someone to respect and admire.
I'm coming in there Tabatha and your workstation better be spotless!.
@EricThe show is Scrubs. My band "Dr. Beardface & the Spaceman" partially took our name from that show.
..STILL not on board with that...
Aww I know this is Old. But how Sweet. I Love her. She's Awesome
i am a total Tabatha fan!! LOVE HER !!
Didn't realize she was so close to my home town in Hawthorne. And yes, I am surprised by the plainess of the salon and with the color being mixed in the laundry room :(
I love the take over show. Being a hair designer and educator myself, I am looking forward to payng a visit to this salon on my next trip home.
Why shouldn't the laundry and colour be in one room? Both need water supply, no?
ya face plain too BOOM!
@SpoofedTV she has more than one salon though
she is from Austraila her mother was a professional styist .
I love Tabitha! She's tough and she takes over! It's amazing to see some of these salons! I have been in a salon like any one of these! Even great clips is better. They are lucky to have her!!
is she still in that salon? :)
She’s so wonderful

Tabitha is sooo awesome!
she's sooo great!!! i wish i was like her!!
cool. unassuming place , w/signature touches ( the newspapers)
Had no idea she had a salon in NJ. Lol I don't live far from Ridgewood.
Tabatha no longer owns/manages this salon. But it was interesting to see what style of salon she had.
awesome thank you kindly!
Mad respect for Tabatha.
My husband loves Tabatha, and even we have no ties to the industry whatsoever, we have learned a lot.
Does anyone know what the point of misspelling "Industry" is? I don't get it.
To sound French, like Anthropologie? Hey, most of fashion makes no fucking sense, and this is another example of it. Instead of white walls.. why not a COLOR?
Nice
she's sooo great!!! i wish i was like her!! :)
@Tigerbos i totally agree with you.
I expected her place to be grand anx kitted out like the makeovers she did on tv
yeah i agree 100% i perfer to go to a salon not for looks and fancy decor but for skill.
TRUE!
i LOVE tabatha. i want her to do my hair so bad. but i dont think it will ever happen. :(
In New Yaork
Like she said -- she wanted small and simple and that is what she did and it looks nice to me. I like Tabatha and the show because all she is doing is telling them the right thing and those guys don't get it
yeaha, besides, its Bravo that takes care of the expensive for salon makeovers they dont pay her to do her salon, she just gets paid to do the show
It's amazing her own salon is very monochromatic and sterile. And her mixing room is actually quite messy!😄 IRONIC
tabatha rocks
i love tabs approach and in true aussie style will tell you to your face because she wants you to be a better stylist and shes making me jealous with her heels and im recovering from a badly fractured ankle i can imagine her standards are very high xxx
She's a good person.
simple, functional, practical
The outside of the shop was so under whelming. I'm shocked that it's Tabatha's salon.
I must admit I thought the same. Because she is famous for being top quality I guess It wouldn't really matter If It was just a shed, It's about customers coming back & making the business successful. Tabatha is her own brand that sells itself.
I’d like to see what she’s up to now in 2020.😊
I love and respect Tabitha so much. Tabitha you're my shero
You know, she seems genuinely kind, caring, and friendly. But, by all means,😳😳😳 don't hug her!
I don't know about that -- If she wanted bigger, she would have easily moved on to New York or someplace way bigger than Ridgewood because of the show and all the stuff she does for companies a long time ago. This was 12 years ago!
Chrissy_Delishy still tho!
Exactly
TABATHA LETS BE BEST FRIENDS!
i would love for you to teach me, your tuff but i know ill learn in a week lol your good girl i hope the best for you!!!.
her salon, especially the outside, doesn't look half as descent as the places she goes after she fixes them up, particularly the wash room, she would have had a cow on the show
Yes binging. Love, love her. But some of the people she helps don't deserve to be in business.
she is the H.B.I.C.
Tabatha needs a better salon. Nothing seems relaxing about it.
Sorry New York
Wow! Very surprised with her salon! Looks like everyone elses- how depressing! I mean no offense i just expected to see more "glitz"(?)
successful career

The first thing I noticed was how dirty and tacky the entrance is.
I love her,she can be a bitch,but she's real.She can also be very sweet,i think she's great!
lul
sorry, it looks ghetto inside and out to me, personally.
So small and cozy is ghetto to you? I find it to be very welcoming and comforting. Besides its supposed to be about hair and all that really matters is how well the stylist do there job. The place is well kept and clean. No where near ghetto looking to me. But to each there own🤷♀️
I guess the tough mega bitch persona is just an act! She seems so much down to earth and sweeter here. Who knew?
