By creating practice exam. From chapter 5 to chapter 9 mga ganyan. You should create your own exam prior to the actual exam. Identification is effective for remembering terms, dates, and names. Wag mong sasagutan yung ginawa mong exam. Babasahin mo lang sya o irereview as much as you can.
It takes a lot of effort. But it's worth it.

Yan ginagawa ko during my spare time sa boarding house.

What I do is everyday ... Every single day I always review or reflect what I learned in the class . Babasahin ko din yung lessons na na cover namin that day. And when examination day comes , I don't feel preassured to review or re-read everything again .
Another tip is during the discussion , participate . And as much as possible , ask questions to your professors or teachers . Dapat you should question and test every information that you are gaining.
Yun lang . God bless you guys 😊

I found napping very helpful especially before the exam. Back in JHS, I used our breaktime once to take a nap as I felt really drained because of the cramming I did right before the exam. I woke up feeling refreshed and took the test with my head clear. I got a high mark on that exam.

I was a bookworm. Yes I was. I remember reading anybook be it English, science, math, history. Wala Lang gusto ko lang basahin. Hindi ako mapirmi pag wala ako mabasa. Hanggang sa nahasa ko English skills ko. learning math for me was a piece of cake din. Wala din ako naging problema sa science Kasi science is my thing and I also like history especially kapag pumasok na Yung mga magugulong events. While everyone is cramming I'm sitting unbothered . Ang tataas scores ko . Thank you for sharing this video. What worked for me is re-reading my notes right away when I get home from school. I re-read everything or what was discussed. Pag math subjects I review the process of solving problems and try doing them again. It takes about 30 minutes to 1 hr and then I'll do whatever I want or need to do by the end of the day. I never pressured myself to study for exams. I sleep by 8 pm and wake up at 5 am everyday. I grew up doing that and I never had problems with passing exams and getting high grades. :)

One of the best ways to score high grades is to create your own practice tests. It’s a little extra work while you’re studying, but if that investment results in higher grades, it’s definitely worth it.
In their book, "The Adult Student’s Guide to Survival & Success," Al Siebert and Mary Karr advise:
"Imagine that you are the instructor and have to write some questions that will test the class on the material covered. When you do this for each course you will be amazed at how close your test will match the one your instructor creates."

Like if I don't know the thing I might search it on Google then read some of its infos then when I adapted the infos I can go to the next or I'll write down first of its important detail so when I look at what I write I'll already know that. (ah ito Yung ano) something like that. Just like memorizing, and then watching videos on RUclips. Or making my own statement in the topic. That's all Godbless❤️

I agree talaga na magkakaiba tayo ng study habit. Ako, way back in college, nag-aaral ako sa gabi o kaya ginagawa yong mga activities ko every night since every day may pasok ako whole day. Minsan nagpupuyat ako kung urgent yong assignment o may upcoming long quiz or exam pagka-umaga. Kung wala naman, I took myself to sleep pangbawi na rin iyon sa mga previous days na wala akong tulog lalo na kapag Friday night. Kasi pagka-Sabado, balik ulit sa paggawa ng assignment or pag-aaral for the quiz or exam sa susunod na week.
Ngayon graduate na ako ng college 4 years ago na, I decided to take CSE this year 2023 since gusto ko nga makapasok sa DENR. Since wala naman akong trabaho at tambay ako sa bahay pansamantala, I spend a lot of my time studying sa mga scopes ng lesson na lalabas sa CSE, and also watching Coach Lyqa's video na rin. Every afternoon, exact 1:00PM, diyan na ako nagsisimula mag-aral hanggang 4 or 5 PM. Sa gabi, magi-start ako ng 9PM hanggang 1AM. Since nocturnal akong tao at mukhang may insomnia ako, minsan inuumaga ako, hindi sa pagre-review kasi nga hanggang 1AM lang ang oras ko sa pag-aaral, kundi sa pagbabasa ng mga fiction books because I love reading talaga haha. So ganito habit ko today.
This is my first time at sana kayanin ko.

So basically, the review I did during the few hours is to read and familiarize myself, I'm not good at memorization. Fast forward, I passed the exam. If you know that rest is supplemental to you, then go, if you know that your brain can't take the notes anymore, don't push yourself too hard.

Usually when I study for tests i make summary or outline from my books kasi mas maoorganize yung details at mas madali sa pag analyze at mas matutunan pag hindi grabe ka detailed yung binabasa (but ofcourse alam mo na yung concept ng binasa mo) yung parang keywords lang. Tas naghihighlight or color coding

I am a type of person na laging si madaling araw, I never tried na mag aral sa gabi kase pagod na katawan at isip ko. So just like Ms. Lyqa, matutulog na lang ako around 7 to 8pm then gising ng mga 2am then aral. Try also to write down terms kahit di na yung definition then after you review balikan mo yung mga terms kung natatandaan mo pa, kahit yung concepts lang nila.

same method though it is still hard as a college student lalo na kapag self-learning and andami daming information with a short period of review but motivation is also a key. When u are enjoying the sub u can easily understand it

Thank you po ate Lyqa. Every saturday rin kasi its either may project na due or practice kaya ginagawa ko either sa friday ng gabi ang practice tests and flash cards ko habang nagpapatugtog ng classical music. It also helps na nakaupo ka lang at nakaearphones at lahat ng gamit mo nasa harapan mo. Mas nakakafocus ka, I tried it and the result was great. Exams next week, review ulit ngayon!

ohh we have the same study habits coach! esp now that classes are taken online, kaya mas mahirap mag review ng day or night time. i also do not have my own room so i find it diff to study with a noisy surrounding. i usually wake up around 1 or 2am to memorize terminologies since thats the only time where people in my house are silent 🤣 making practice tests using quizlet also works best for me since it can make me feel as if the test im taking is the actual one. even though it will take so much of my time, but definitely worth it!

I have a weird technique to study.
When I go home after school I need to sleep and would wake up at maybe midnight or two O'clock.
Before everything else I just want you to know that I am an owl person and could not function properly if I don't see that the sky is dark as black and the moon is up. Yeah I know I'm kinda weird but people are different okay.
When I woke up I also want my study desk to be clean, pleasing and everything has to be ready.
Then I study with Pomodoro technique.
I would stop at exactly 5 O'clock am cause for some reason my body would always feel tired at that time.
I absolutely hate this cycle but my body has gotten used to it that it became a hobby. Like I said after school I would immediately be asleep which shortens my time to do other things like cleaning my room, feeding my pets and I won't even have time for myself cause most of the time I'm either studying or sleeping.
I would not recommend my study technique cause If you do it you would only have time for studying. You won't have time for bonding with your family, Chatting with friends and especially you could only sleep for 5 or even 4 hours per day. I just want to share this beacause I think many people thinks that studying hard can help you raise your grades. No! Studying hard means tiring yourself which could result in you falling asleep on class and falling behind lessons. My grades are not even going up even if I study hard , What lyqa said was right you need to STUDY SMART NOT STUDY HARD.

We use the same technique, but I'd always feel sleepy when the sunrises already. And I'll end up feeling more sleepy when i go to school. I don't feel like studying when after school, so i do it early in the morning. What can i do maam?😭

hi miss lyqa, ahm new subscirber po, nakita ko lang to sa suggestion videos ko and nagka interes ako, pero nalilito ako sa pomodoro technique, kasi d ko alam kung saan ako magbabasa ulit pagkatapos kung mag relax at matulog, kung magco continue ba ako or babalik nanaman ako ulit sa first part nang binasa, saan po ba dapat bumaik ulit bumasa pagkatapos mong mag relax at matulog?
    salamat po maam,

i was blown away! amazed..... and surprised! all at once... veryveryvery helpful. when you mentioned reading with music writing sa tahimik na lugar... and obviously magkaiba talaga siya.. what amazed me, na all the time all i thought.. im oky studying while with music pero when i get older ang na observe ko i dont want any noise or even music while reading specially studying... basta you provided clear explanation and clariffication that studying for review or exam is different from you are just studying when you want to learn.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ more powers po maam lyqa! new fan here! 🙋‍♀️
