Thanks for taking the time to reply mate, would love some more videos on what rods and reels you use and set up. How you cut and hook your bait ? Seams simple to most but not when starting out. Cheers
I use two Silstar Power Tip rods 4 to 7 kg. They are 7 foot. I get them from Sporty's Warehouse at 32 Straithard Road, Bundall. They're not expensive, around $70, or you can find them on eBay as well A great reel for the price is the Penn 4000 Battle, priced at around $140. I put 15 to 20lb braid on them. If you use braid line, you will have to join mono to it for what is called a leader, again 20lb. Look on youtube for how to join braid to mono, it is pretty easy to learn. After you've joined the two lines, have the mono leader about 3 meters on that, put a sinker on then tie a swivel to the end. Remember to put a sinker on that is big enough for the current. As current slows, change to a smaller sinker. The other side of swivel tie about 1 metre of the same mono 20 lb On the end of that you put the hook, a 4/0 circle mustad hook. Bait: I use fresh mullet fillets. I get it from Charis Seafood, Labrador. You cut it across the fillet in bites the size of your little finger. About 10mm at top to a point at the bottom. Get the hook and put it though the wide end around 5 mm from top. Good luck. Tight lines
Hi Lloyd Really bad year around all the spots I fish Haven't had a feed for at least the last 1/2 dozen times out Not good at all But on the other side has been some beautiful days on the water Thanks for watching Tight lines 🐟
Went fishing in my spot in brisbane on friday, caught about 12 legal bream, 40 cm grunter and some small thredfin in 3 hours. you never know your luck, just gotta find a good spot.
Hi mate thanks for watching Sounds like a good day out Grunter go hard never caught a threadfin one for the bucket list I like to give some advise to people that watch my vids But some spots you have to keep quiet Tight lines🐟
Nice upload mate. Always enjoy. Was out back of cook island last weekend and couldn't believe how warm the water was. Fairly new to fishing but wonder if this has effect.

Doing better than me in that area at the moment. Found some rubble last time out and still didn’t catch much. Small bream and that was it.

Haven't had much luck myself plenty of undersized fish and the occasional squid but it still beats being stuck at work
I haven't had much luck in the broadwater either this year, mainly just catching bream. Hopefully you will start to catch some big ones, TIght lines.
Another good video mate 👍
