Well done mate good to see you get a couple of Snapper! Hopefully as Winter continues they start to fire up for you. I might even have to try the Broadwater myself! Cheers and tight lines mate 👍🎣
G'Day Will The word around is they are getting good pan size snaps in the seaway I had a couple more on that day but lost them Nice to have a feed of fresh fish Tight lines🐟👍
@@tightlines7549 Good stuff mate, I'm heading offshore tomorrow to try for Snapper but maybe I should check the Seaway too! Hope to see you out on the water one day 👍🎣
Hi mate Only use mullet and pilchards At the moment it doesn't matter what you are using There is a shit load of weed around Been out 3 times in the last 3 weeks and had to give up Thanks for watching🐟
G’day mate, love the videos, keep up the good work. Planning on heading out around that area with Dad in a fortnights time. I’m curious as to wether using a sabiki bait jig and burleying up would work for liveys in the shallows or the main channel? Have you ever noticed any herring or other baitfish around your burley bag/trail? I would add some powdery bread mix to the burley bag also.
Hi Rade You do see bait balls around some times But have never jig for bait Not sure what the bait is Get often garfish around burley trail Thank for watching 👍
Hi JH I don't really fish to the moon Always fish from first light to around 9am Top of the tide and first 1 hour of run out always fishes best I find But saying that can get fish at anytime But has been a very bad year so far Tight lines 🐟
I fish for snapper in coromandel New Zealand, and while any time can be good, I have kept a diary since 1992 and here anyway the best fishing is 2 days after new and full moon, provided the moon isn't in the sky during the day.
@@matthewmorshead2594 the fishings usually pretty good in coromandel. I posted on here cause a guy asked a question about the moon. This Wednesday 31st will be days after full moon, and the moon wont be in the sky during the day. So that will be a good day to fish.
Hi mate Hook size is 4/0 or 3/0 circle hook Just 1 anchor always fish early morning no wind around Go hone around 9am Can be hard when wind picks up Thanks for watching 👍
Hey mate, you seem to get the days with no wind? I tried the other day and the wind was only 15km from the west but the channel was extremely choppy. Is there any tips you can give about wind direction etc etc? Cheers
Hi Tim I am self employed so it's a bit easier to work in with the weather I look a that Coast watch weather channel and look at the synoptic charts When you read the chart the bigger the space between the lines the better for light wind 💨 The closer the lines the stronger the wind Also I fish at first light for around 3 to 4 hours at the most That time of the day you have a lot more chance to get no wind Wind from the west is hard to fish But if wind is going to be up early and say it's going to be northerly I will lonely fish if the tide is running out So same thing for southerly wind run in tide Thanks for watching Tight lines 🐟
Hi heerden Look I like the last hour of the turn of the tide On the run in and the run out both sides As for burley I like to keep it going most of the time Throw cut pilchards out every 10 to 15 minutes Always best when tide is getting slower Good luck 🐟
Keep up the great work sir. Enjoy your videos. God bless

Another great video. Thanks. I’m keen to have a go. Do you find the tides closer to the full or new moon work best, or do you prefer the neap ones?
