Thank you so much, my leopard gecko got bored of his food!! I have been feeding him mealworms for his whole life (6 months). I gave him a cricket and he loved it!! Thank you so much!!
Great video! My Leopard Gecko stopped eating for weeks and it turns out it was because the temps were a bit off, now they are correct and he is eating again until he decides he doesn't like it anymore!
I've encountered the stubborn boredom thing before, she decided she had had enough of dusted locust, so when I offered a dubia roach a day or so later, she was straight on it! 😂 enjoyed this video, thanks!
My older rescued gecko (estimated at least 6-7 years old) went off her food a long time. She’d barely eat once a week if I was lucky, sometime almost 2 weeks. Would only eat a few meal worms at a time. She’s had become malnourished and has really struggled. She sees a vet and there has been nothing wrong disease wise. We are actually creating a bioactive habitat and hoping that environment will encourage her to eat more and regain her health.
Great tips and advice, thanks. I always feed Echo in the evening and offer a variety of live food from locusts to crickets and mealworms to the occasional wax worm, which are used so sparingly that they usually turn to moths before I’ve finished the tub
I’ve had back and forth debates over temperature with my vets. They say the hot side should be 30 degrees celsius but my geckl won’t have any bowel movements unless the temperature is 32 degrees celsius
Great info. I hope this doesn’t happen to my LP. I just finished setting up my first ever terrarium for my first LP, all of it was inspired from watching your videos. How and where can i submit my creation for your critique?
Please help Leopard Gecko! Your videos have helped me a lot, but I keep stressing my gecko may be impacted. I had her on coconut fiber until I switched to paper towel. I got her from Petco a year ago, and they housed them in sand. 😟 Her stomach is white, soft, and squishy. She has a big appetite, and seems pretty active. But her stomach is large and her poops are small. There isn't many either. Pls respond if you have any ideas 😓
my gecko unfortunately got conjunctivitis but after putting her in a clean tank with paper towels and giving antibiotics her eyes are back to normal but she just wont eat its been about a month. she drinks water but thats it
Hi there, I could use some advice. I recently went on holiday, and my aunt was taking care of my leopard gecko. She was a bit nervous about feeding live mealworms, so she gave her freeze-dried ones instead. Now that I’m back, my gecko isn’t interested in live food anymore. Have you ever experienced something like this? Do you have any tips on how to get her back to eating live food? Thanks so much for any help you can offer! 🦎
I bought my Leo with MBD and gave her calcium d3 + multivitamins on her dubias/mealworms. It's condition has not gotten worse in the last 2 months. What else can I do to help? Her hands are twisted but hunting is not a problem.
I have a 16 ears leopard gecko, I use to look long time ago at one of your video, you use to make a soup for your sick gheko, my gheko keeps shedding non stop and doesn't eat, like newer and doesn't eat the skin needer, and it can't catch anything doesn't even try so can you repost the video with some food for sick/old gheko.
My male leopard gecko mated succesfully with a female and he doesnt want to eat anymore so i removed the substrate and changed to papaer towel (dw i put the substrate into my blue tongue skink's enclosure) and it did not work but maybe he is interested in females only he used to eat the day when i got him and i released him into his enclpsure and he ate instantly i dont know why but im gonna try and get crickets because he used to like those..

What is your temperature set up now?
My girl gets upset and goes on a hunger strike for a few days when I clean her enclosure.
Total opposite for mine, if her tank is dirty she don't eat
Same but I try to move things around a little bit so she has to walk around and figure her "new" enclosure
@@anacorona2534i do the same i think changing the place to much it makes them stressful or upset

Very helpful video. Thank you for this 😊
I recently adopted a leo. She's eating fine, but this really helps since she is an adult.

Love it!!
I got my gecko a uvb lamp and he already loves in 🎉
You should get 2 mourning geckos in the same enclosure and a baby savannah monitor!

I have a 29 gallon tank I want to get my gecko and snake a 40 gallon 😊
If you're in the US I got good deals on black Friday, I think they were 50% off at petco I don't know the gallon amount but it's a 40×18×18

Hey I always wonder, I keep my tank completely dark at night but I notice when you interact with your Leo's it looks like the lights are on
introduced my gecko to dubia roaches now she wont eat anything else it takes 10 minutes to coax her into eating variety
Please help Leopard Gecko!

my gecko loves only superworms (he is not fat) i try to give him roaches, he hates it-they are too fast. also hornworms are a treat - he likes them

You can't really improve mbd its a permanent condition
