- Darth Sidious was by far one of the most powerful characters in the whole of Star Wars, with not only immense abilities at using a lightsaber, but also unbelievable power in the force, to the extent that he was able to singlehandedly keep the entire galaxy in check and stop multiple opponents from overthrowing him.

However, despite his many years of study in the dark side, there was one force ability that palpatine simply failed ot master, regardless of his efforts. A Force dyad, is a strange occurrence which happened when two Force users shared an unbreakable bond, merging them into a singular entity within the Force. This profound connection, similar to the essence of life itself, could span through time and space, allowing members to be deeply attuned to each other's senses and possess unique Force abilities. This was a gateway to unstoppable power, which, if Sidious had attained it, would have led his empire to be almost everlasting, since no mortal would be able to overthrow him.
The Doctrine of the Dyad is integral to the rich lore of the Sith, prophesying the emergence of such a powerful connection. This hidden power came to light during a historical period marked by political upheaval and conflict. The doctrine emphasizes the dyad's significance within the Sith Order, as inscribed on the walls of a Sith Citadel
You are one of my favorite star wars channels on RUclips thank you so much May the Force be with you 😊
May the force be with you also!
Not sure what's so different to this and what we saw with him regenerating as he absorbed force power from Rey and Ben.
I haven't read the comics but heard that's why he encouraged Luke and Rey to kill him. That he had ability to shift his consciousness over into them. If he'd stolen Luke's body, adding his power onto Luke's already considerable power... he would've been practically unstoppable.
All that power in one physical body may be too much. I can imagine that body decaying faster. The more powerful the force techniques he used the faster he would decay. It would be interesting to see what the cannon has to say. Or even Legends.
@randywilliams5628 decay... the combined power of Rey and Ben rejuvenated Sidious from his living puppet state. He then used so much power that he could force lightning an entire fleet of fighter jets.
"I am all the Sith"...
I think he actually all their power combined?!
@@wolfpackpete6408 a fair point
In the Darth Plagueis novel, they discuss why the Dark Side causes their bodies to decay in such a manner. Plagueis calls it "A disease from which no Sith desires a cure."@@wolfpackpete6408
I'm not sure it's Palpatine single-handedly kept the Galaxy in check with his force abilities that's because I'm pretty sure it's due to the fact that he blew up Alderaan and before that had a weapon that could destroy planets
Palpatine wasn't really that powerful until Rise of Skywalker. If you look back at the prequels, he only *barely* won his fights with Mace Windu (because Anakin intervened) and Yoda (Palpatine managed to get a better grip on the Senate pod when they were both thrown backward). In RotJ, he didn't even sense that the shield around the Death Star was down, nor that Vader was about to turn on him rather than allow him to kill Vader's son. Palpatine is mostly hype, especially compared to ancient Sith Lords.
It’s ironic. He was able to clone himself, but he couldn’t save himself from his own granddaughter
Wow so in canon she’s the most powerful person in all of Star Wars..😒so impressive she had no training and beat our Emperor Palpatine because he’s according to Disney not all powerful how ironic for he is ALL THE SITH LORDS🧎♂️and she is NOTHING compared to the powers of the Darkside
@@bloodknight7420Rey with an obvious ai voice I am not all the jedi I am a mary sue with plot armor blah blah make men uncomfortable stronk wamhen power unlimited stronk wamhen powa 🤤 that might as well be what the story of the sequels is
Qui-Gon wasn't healed because no writer had thought of that Force ability yet. 😏
So is this legends or canon also is this a Jedi ability or Force user in-general ability
It can be argued that Not EVERY jedi had healing powers.
The force had finished with qui Gon
As powerful as he was, he probably didn’t need this ability
He died and lost. So he probably did.
Why wasn’t Qui Gon healed?
Because he was absent from the OT, he had to be killed off. Duh!
Palpatine could've attained this power... but the problem was, that power does not work for psychopaths like him, which are one of the reasons for his downfall.
Palps just had a skill issue
he wasto busy mastering the return because of stupid plot armor aka somehow palpatine returned
This is why Obi-Wan couldn't heal Qui-Gon: ruclips.net/user/results?search_query=why+didn%27t+obi+wan+use+force+heal
master vader
Nah. Ain't no such thing. Now if Perfect Light and Perfect Dark then it might be interesting to see in a film.
