NIN's live sound engineer deserves an oscar too
+Marco Longo Right the mix is fucking great.
On behalf of all the scary and misunderstood kids out there. Some of us were beat up and abused. Some of us are alone with no one to turn to... Until we turned on a NIИ record. And you were right there with us Trent! Thank you!
Yeah so do true!!
Beautifully said! Thank you.
It’s not that deep fam
This is group therapy. Hey fam, we got this. 🤘
The fragile is their best album!!
Man wish I could go to such an intimate concert.
I've been to that venue before... Saw Silverchair. The floor is so old it bounces and you can hear it creak under and in the stair wells.
this is the best first song of an album in the history of music
How could you dislike this song?? Pure rage and pain vented from within....crazy that this song and "We're in this together" is a description of my marriage. FML--NIN forever
It's actually ridiculous the amount of times i have rewound it to 1:30 to watch Trent rock out like that, i better get a chance to see these genius's LIVE!
I wish he could still hit those high notes and screams like he used to. He's still the greatest artist of all time though regardless, and if I could I'd go to every single one of their shows.
Interestingly enough, Trent himself describes NIN music as pop, and if you listen to the structure and melodies, that's exactly right. It's pop with noise and piles of attitude, and a willingness to look straight into the darkness inside the human soul that no other pop composer is willing to match.
Without a doubt this is one of my top 2 favorite NIN concerts. Damn was it awesome being at this tiny of a show!
So what was the other?
This was special
Night of Nothing & Downward Spiral at Webster hall were some that get close
We got one venture in Philly set up the same holds like 5,000 people it jams
The best 'angry song' I've ever heard from the best album I've ever heard.
OMG.....sounds incredible.
Amazing! Trent's still got that unbelievable stage presence.
I swear my T levels spike every time I watch this. I love this video, wish I could find more NIN of this quality.
I couldn't agree with you more. I've seen it probably 15 times in the last week. Wish I could see the rest of this show.
oh my god. the crowd singing at 1.56.
nothing in the world could possibly be more amazing!
i envy every single person in that audience. FUCK!!! this kicks ass
this would have been an AMAZING show to see. epic!
Ilan Rubin is so beast.Awesome performance :D
Nine have changed music forever.
Love this type of sound and other industrialized music from the likes of
Gary Numan, Ministry, Skinny Puppy, Front Line Assembly, KMFDM
and also dark styles from Massive Attack, Depeche Mode, Unkle, Portishead,
Tricky, Saul Williams, EL P, AllFlaws
this song totally scared me at 14. but I couldnt put the album down
Absolutely.
What a fucking sound. 110/100
After I yelled for them to play this when they came to MTL in 2k, they play it nine years later on my bday. Dawg damnit!
This is a fantastic performance. Of course, you know this already.
Just for the few commentors who may not know:
1. The stage is small because this is the final NIN tour, the "Wave Goodbye" tour. It took place in small venues, like the Echoplex in LA.
2. Trent has stated he is done touring - for now. NIN is not over, but he has How To Destroy Angels, scores and other projects. Give the man a break. He toured from 07 - 10.
3. Somewhat Damaged is almost entirely guitar, synth and drums. Any bass is synth.
4. No one dedicated person handled keys/synth. Justin
Can't believe this video is almost 10 years old.
yea, and I watch a lot. My fav NIN song.
This is my fav NIN song, the performance was awesome!!!
nin + small venue = epic win
Splendid video....Happy Christmas!
This is a great Christmas gift. Thank you!
Thanks this is the best gift for Christmas!
Best Christmas gift EVER ;) hope there are more videos to come!
Up close & personal. Fabulous!

Been a while since I had a NIN vid in my subscriptions. What a nice Christmas present.

maybe the best live vid from nin! amazing power and mood!
That's a wonderful christmas present, Trent. You'll always be in my heart! Thank you!
Thank You so much Trent!
THIS IS THE BEST CHRISTMAS GIFT EVER!!!!!
Love this song. That riff that starts it off and pretty much goes the whole way thru the song is brilliant. Loved it the first time I heard it after rushing out and buying the fragile. The lyrics are fricking awesome too.
After 20 years making music and playing live, Trent still has so much energy! It's just amazing, and one of the main reasons we love him! The energy and the emotions! No words are great enough to explain it, you have to live it!
Beautiful.
Always such a great build to the finale of the song, touches on a raw rage in everyone that just can't help but come out with this song
THANK YOU!!!!!
My favourite, favourite NiN piece.
Almost made it to this show; looked beautiful!
High Quality Christmas Gift. Thanks Trent :D
I look forward to the day when I can see them live again.
Best version of this
Please please please post more of these, or make them all downloadable :)
unbelievably amazing
That's right! I was so relieved to know they would still be bringing it after the Wave Goodbye tour. I lost my chance of seeing them in Buenos Aires back in 2008, so I felt this huge joy when the announcemente of a 2013/2014 tour was made.
Watch at 2:21, Trent looks up at the balcony where his wife was standing. I never noticed until now. I was standing behind the camera man to the right of the stage, if you were facing it.
This has been one of my top nin performances of Somewhat for years... this in Manchester a couple of weeks ago came VERY close to this! 👍
FIRE!!
Well, time to get back in my studio. I’m pumped now
I can't wait nin to tour again !
This is incredible
excellent!!!! can't wait for the rest!!!!
this is beyond awesome! love this song!
amazing! trying to find myself upfront by robin. i hope more songs are released!
Your taste in music is brilliant. Greetings from Sweden.
OMFG what an unexpected and lovely present for X-Mas!!!!!!! Thanks Trent and all Nine Inch Nails crew for ALL these years of pure Rock. I'm from Barcelona and still remember "the hardest live performance of your life" as you (Trent) said on a speech in your 2nd visit at RAZZMATAZZ.
JUST LOVE U GUYS. ALL OF YOU. MISS YOU SO MUCH!!!!!
Thank you Mr Rez! You are EVERITHING!!!
I was there : )
Show was epic. I only filmed a few songs though since I knew NIN was filming. Glad to finally see some official footage.
Damn I miss NIN touring.
Exquisite performance & video quality!! more, Trent, more! :)
wooooooo! Thanks!
NIN Rocks! They are better than any band. You can think what you want , but I know the real truth and the real truth is....... No other band even comes close!
Rock on Trent.
Another epic live video.. keep 'em coming NIN.COM, keep it alive..
finally a new video. yay !!!!!!!!!!!
So good damn!
Those that were at this show were VERY lucky! I hope this is the first video to be followed by the rest of the show. On the NIN page it does say: Song 1. Hmm :D
Thanks Trent !
Thats because it is the greatest album of all time.
Bad ass! :) One of my favorite NIN songs, and I love the energy of this performance!
badass performance!!
Still hoping the rest of this concert appears someday. What an amazing show.
Jeez. How freaking awesome would it have been to have had a ticket to this exclusive gig? Bowery Ballroom is such a good venue for seeing bands --- especially if that band is NIN. So damn tough. And such great Cinematography! Love the camera work/editing. But moreover, Ilan Rubin!!!
My fav NIN song.
thx for the present :)
Love this performance.
a melhor banda que existe.............
absolutely great! I love NiN!!!
Amaaaazing grace :)
I hope to hear this live one day. I am elated that they are touring again. I will lose my mind and I can't wait.
Merry Christmas!
Down in front! What a great performance. When this song kicks into overdrive my heart stops beating.
Awesome Christmas present!
This video makes me miss Nine Inch Nails touring so damn much.
I was there. It was brilliant.
This is just so bad ass, love the small venue and Trent and Co giving it 110%.
What more could I ask for? NIN
This is FUN!!
Daaamn that place was packed. I saw them at a bigger venue but I can just imagine how intense that must have been !
sounds spot on......
i want some more
i got goosebumbs when the song got heavy so great to see trent again =]
hell,this version rocks!
Always loved this one, the prefect drug and we're in this together now. For me, those songs represent the depth of anger, pain, despair and abandonment that many people feel at one time or another in their life. Or was it just my life? He is just able to articulate it sooo damn well!
