Hope compressing a cylinder full of oil didnt bend a rod or crack a piston/ ring land damge, etc. 'Once it heats up the noise starts' is not a good sign, imho. You have the injectors out, run a compression test and leakdown test if you can.
They are stock injectors. The black is resin on the injectors, the orange is heat. That's why the 6th push rod has a little crown. Like a pool Q, roll em on the table and if they don't have crazy wobble, your good for now. Chang them when you get the 100 overs. 6th is the hottest point on the block. Thats why they started making thet fleece coolant plate for the back of the block, to get the coolant to the hot point. Upgrade that fuel rail plug cap when you do new injectors. Talk to energy on the injectors when you purchase. You need a relief plug to the specs on the injectors so you don't blow the seals out if you ever get into it too hard over time. Your on your way man. Keep it up, your getting there. I personally know the aggravations on the 6.7.
I was going to install that coolant bypass but it seems that everybody uses like a rubber hose right over the hot exhaust manifold. 😅
I was going to do it but upon reading the reviews the rubber hose seems to always swell and then burst. Simple enough to convert to metal?

I would have ran BG or archoil carbon removing cleaner. Both injector and head would benefit.
I curious how much carbon or gunk is in them. Since you were running on the freeway and it was hot outside and then it shut down by getting sprayed with engine oil😂 and with the heat it just probably cook that oil so good.
Which is why when you run like arch oil or the BG cleaner you're supposed to actually put it in and then run the truck like on the freeway for a long trip. So you can get as much heat into that engine as you can. And sometimes I'll take the off ramp just so I can use the on-ramp 😂 😂😂😅

The symbol on the old injector cap is BOSCH.
It would be nice if you could somehow measure the stroke of each cylinder just to make sure you don’t have a bent connecting rod. After all, 5&6 was trying to compress all that oil.

Don't think it's stuck open it would wash the cylinder and thin the oil with fuel. Good advice on the solenoid nuts, ask me how I know! You can put a multi meter on the solenoid post take a ohm reading to verify bad one. Best of luck man! The struggle is real with these trucks
That orange stuff on the tips of the injectors is coolant you have a blown head gasket seen it too many times your wasting your time and money the injectors are good!!
I have a 05 that I bought new and I had a 1992 12 valve and now I have a 05 that I bought new also and has been a great truck and still factory injectors no haze or smoke and runs perfect .

My self I just want a stock truck and motor and I would put brand new Bosch injectors and I know to many people that have put remand injectors in and have a problem one one or two injectors that were bad and have to pull them all and send in and that sucks my time is very costly so when I send them back and it’s your problem you need to pay me for my time at least 65 dollars a hour and that’s cheap !!!!

Make sure that bore scope is skinny enough to fit through the injector hole only ones I’ve seen skinny enough are snap on ones. But I could be wrong good luck man.

Hopefully they have a trim codes to reprogram your ecm or will always under perform and mostly will run like shit
After watching the video, and seeing that #6 , I'd say that buildup is from the oil going thru the system and excessive heat, assuming the 6.7 has some issue they say the 5.9 has where the back 2 cylinders get way hotter than the rest , I'd say that oil washed the injector and then basically flashed onto it, probably causing your issue, that's my 2 cents on it, I haven't heard from any master diesel techs that that heat issue is legit but it's possible. Hopefully that helps bro, I just had mine done and did a video on it. My guy didn't say anything about it tho, and he's thorough he would've mentioned something g had there been even a small issue

Have you decided to go with new Injectors or are you going to rebuild your old ones. If you go new are you going to use stock ones or aftermarket ones. That #6 looked pretty rough, great video as usual I'll be waiting for the update.
With you having to deal with all of these problems do you regret selling your 3rd gen mega cab? That truck was clean and ran great….
I have a question. Can you take the b nut that's on that tube and then turn it around backwards so you can protect the threads when you're using needle nose or a screwdriver to pry against the feed line? Are there any threads if you turn it on backwards? 😅

Send oil sample in to see how much fuel in the oil I use Black stone or who ever you use ?

That date on your injectors , it could be the bench test date?
Mine misfire after 1000mile of towing
Soak and clean the lines and with compressed air blow them out
Be careful with doing that wear eye protection
How many miles is on that motor or hrs on the motor ?
It is possible that by coincidence that the solenoids on 5&6 went bad. As far as the tips go looks like carbon buildup which is normal
The orange looks like rust. I don’t believe that the oil that found it’s way into cylinders 5&6 did any damage to the interiors.
To test the push tubes just because they rolled true doesn’t mean they are good, try a ting test
You can lightly tap them and listen to the sound, if you have a dull sound in a push tube means that it’s not good
If you get a ting sound it’s good
Scan that code with your phone it should take you to a site.
But love content
If it is rust you have to have water to make rust .
Enough moisture in air for all that.
And it's oxygen causing the iron oxide (rust) to form anyway.
