I'll go a little further and say No Gods, No Managers is one of my favorite albums, Yet Leftover Crack is incredibly mediocre. Thank you, Choking Victim, for in my times of depression, you were there making me even more depressed. And there's nothing more inspiring.
I saw these guys in a tiny little basement in Reno Nevada in like 03. They're one of the most socially conscious bands around, It was fucking beautiful.
saw them in the basement of abc no rio. it was my first punk show in the big bad city, they were dogs roaming around and shit... i was like " ,.... soooo THIS is punk rock " so much fun.
Antimaniax are based off the genre Choking Victim members created, which is known as "Crack Rock Steady." Antimaniax were formed after CV broke up. If you're looking for some bands similar to these two, I recommend: Leftover Crack No-Ca$h Morning Glory INDK The Dumpers F-Minus No Commercial Value And quite a few more. There aren't too many, but the ones which do exist, they're all good.

they broke up while recording ng/nm, and stza formed LoC a few months after that. they would perform reunion shows randomly with different lineups (mainly this one and the og first lineup of stza, john dolan on drums, and sascha dubrul on bass)
