Thanks for checking out my lesson on "Listen To The Music" by The Doobie Brothers! Be sure to subscribe to the channel to stay up to date on new lessons! Happy Playing!
Definitely going to check out the DB song…..Love to see you do a classic song ..I Was Only Joking by Rod Stewart on acoustic. The acoustic to electric lead guitar is by far the best solo I have ever heard. One’s opinion… just listen to it several times with the volume up if you never heard it before. Though of course not played by Rod..
Great lesson on a great song! One that will live long and lift spirits! I didn't make the live version but enjoyed it just the same. As always! Thank you Angela!
Love the channel - just subscribed (although I've been watching for a while). Request: Big DOBBIE fan and I'd love to learn "Tell Me What You Want And I'll Give You What You Need." Can you teach us? Thanks

Hi Angela. Tuning from Los Angeles, California and learning guitar playing from you. Thank you for sharing one of my favorite songs by The Doobie Brothers. I saw the band performing at the Gibson Amphitheater (now closed), together with Chicago back in 2012. Keep on rocking! 🇺🇸
Well I ,ll be damned --been trying& failing to play this tricky intro for years ---and suddenly I see Angela Perilli is teaching this Doobies riff in her magical style--now I know I will be able to navigate this song --!
I love your tutorials. Your enthusiasm is always as entertaining... as your lessons. 😃 Thanks, Angela! Oh, and BTW... Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, which is just outside of Chattanooga... and dream guitar is a 1958 Fender JazzMaster! 🐺
Such mixed feelings watching this - joy, because I love the song and you play it SO well; and despair, because I will never be able to play it even half as well.

Fantastic lesson. Especially for the right hand, I've played only the 'high parts' of this tune in my guitar journey. I'm working hard to get completely through songs. Very helpful, p.s. your feed is definitely showing up more✌️🤟
My dream acoustic is a Taylor K24ce Builders edition, it was a little more than I cared to spend so I bought the Taylor 814ce Builders edition. At first I felt like I settled, but the more I play it, the more I like it and have come to the conclusion that things play out the way they do for a reason!
I was trying to figure out how Tom played the ending of the chorus, but I just couldn't get it. I watched and watched him but just couldn't figure it out. Now it makes sense. Thank you.

Angela- you are a great teacher! One missing part is you move crazy fast on the rhtym of hte raid chord changes from A to E, that is a whole part to teach at medium speed as it has two movements and really ties the songs together. Plz help
