I've got to admit Steph that your Home Depot videos have me jealous. Your store is WAY nicer than the one by my house. Thanks for taking us along on the tour.

Love how you introduce most of the plants and who is easy and who is pet friendly. Also liked that you went over the seed section. First time viewer and have now subscribed

Houseplants are what sustains me during the cold winter months. Thanks for this video, Steph. I have multiple varieties of sanseveria, african violets, and orchids, as well as anthurium and pothos. My new favorite, which I discovered this past summer is the hoya exotica. It has done very well for me and so I would like to try my hand at some different varieties.

Allocasia and calathea are my favorite looking houseplants and of course, they’re both one of the most touchiest ones to grow 🙄 I killed my allocasia within a few months. I would love to see a houseplant tour of the ones that you have in your own home!

I've owned a rare and exotic houseplant nursery for years i can give you great recommendations on some great beginner house plants. Alot of key to growing houseplants are their soil mixes and drainage. Also humidity especially for prayer plants.. You've taught me so much about flowers and outdoor gardening that me and my son are getting into and I really enjoy and appreciate your videos. The ficus like to dry out the variegated rubber tree one you were looking at are gorgeous but more prone to rust fungus just be sure not to keep the soil too wet more like succulent same with sanseveria tons of varieties of sanseveria i grow white a variety i love so much. Pothos are a perfect beginner and so many varieties now. The silver pothos are actually scindapsus. They mislabeled alot at home depot these are one of my absolute favorites. I wouldnt recommend cacti and succulents as house plants unless you have big bright windows or grow lights. Euphorbias can do great as houseplants and grow very quickly. I love euphorbia trigona rubras❤ aloe do pretty good as house plants. Terra cotta potted house plants typically dry out quicker and will get build up of minerals on sides of the pot. Also superthrive I would highly recommend water with when repotting new houseplants. ❤ zz plants I highly recommend I love the raven and chameleon variety you rarely have to water the more you neglect them the better they do😂 growing any alocasia inside place in groups and definitely a humidifier nearby also alot of them tend to go dormant in fall and some people think they die but they will grow back in spring. Monstera are great house plants also if you can find a tetrasperma they call them mini monstera and trellis beautifully and prolific growers. Cyclamen I don't recommend at all

Please check your plants from the big box stores. I purchased one plant from Home Depot and it had gnats that I was not aware of. They infested every plant on my home! What a mess!

You should try making a pebble tray under your Calathea and use distilled water … the leaves get crispy ends when they are unhappy … thanks for your videos 💚💚💚🤍🤍🤍🍀🍀🍀

Haha Steph! I went to my favorite houseplant store today and grabbed a couple plants. Try Peperomia! I’m new to houseplants too but this one is fairly easy. I have a couple snake plants too. We have similar tastes! I need to play in the dirt now! Haha

Hi Steph! So many beautiful house plants! Unfortunately, I can't seem to keep an indoor plant alive, but I enjoyed seeing all of the different varieties available at Home Depot. 😊 Thanks!

Thank you for identifying that Ficus! I got one for $6.98 at Kroger and no label! Let’s hope I can keep it alive. I love the painterly quality of the leaves 🍃

Calathea are very high humidity plants they do not like tap water to be watered with. Also they are spider mite magnets one of the hardest houseplants to keep even for seasoned growers
